Its a shame when companies will do anything for money and not treat there customers with respect. I have been an BMW owner for 3 years now and purchased one from BMW BAYSIDE and I regret it. They are and have been so unprofessional. They have a low rating for a reason across all the platforms especially yelp. Ive always been skeptical about reviews but when they all start saying the same things it must be true. I wish I would of done my research on the place before I bought my car here.From Mike Durso to the receptionists its unacceptable. If your looking to purchase a BMV please visit BMV Freeport or do your research before hand but stay away from BMW BAYSIDE.

Excellent experience. Allowed me to take my time in making a buying decision. This was my reason for coming back. The line of communication was always open.
I was ignored for a good 20 min. I went in ready make a purchase but was turned off by how no one came to help me with the vehicle. The front desk said hello but that's it. I even asked to get into one of the cars and they unlocked the car from the desk and again no hey can I answer any questions. Sat in the car again NO ONE. Sales reps all around but not helping. I went right after to audi and two people greeted me in 10 seconds. I was excited to purchase a BMW but this left a horrible taste.

My fiancee's car was given a clean bill of health by these guys for our cross-country road trip. Reality was that that couldn't have been any further from the truth. The vacuum pump seal was damaged and oil was leaking from it and the valve cover had a crack and oil was dripping onto the exhaust causing the visible smoke and smell. She's been smelling burnt oil for some time now, and from what I could tell they didn't do much more than just an oil change. Furthermore, the car's firmware hasn't been updated since 2013 (factory).
I believe the oversight may have been done semi-intentionally because there's a financial incentive. Basically, the warrantee on her car was about to change from full coverage to CPO which didn't cover everything and required a $50 copay each visit.
Anyways, her main contact has been Greg Katehis, and I keep getting the feeling that he had some other motives. This is judging from comments on emails, and the fact that the car seems to be scheduled for maintenance way more frequently than normal. Now that he knows she's engaged to an engineer and is moving away, he doesn't even return our calls and emails (further evidence of possible other motives).

Just walking into the BMW dealership of bayside I was greeted by a very warm and personable group . The receptionist as well was very warm and did her utmost best to point me in the direction of the guy that sold me the car of my dreams. Mike was very patient and sweet in nature, he made sure he took his time and was throurough so that I can have both the car of my dreams as well as a decent price. I would highly recommend this dealership to any of my collegues or family .. I know that they would be without a doubt in great hands
Please don t go to this place they sucks . They took my car for two weeks didn t even gave me a loaner car. No calls to tell me the state-of-the-art my vehicle. They text me to tell me my car would be ready on a particular day and ; days later it s still not ready. Please find another place there s other BMW locations.

I came in for a tire change due to a flat because a metal object was stuck in the tire and Jennifer was my advisor. I came in and out all under 5 mins, I was told it would be a quick one day job and was able to take the shuttle service to drop me off where I need to be. Everything was done less than 2 hours so it was definitely some quick satisfying service. Once I got back to pick up my car Jennifer again was very helpful with filling out all the paper work and to get me out of there. This isn t my first time coming to this location and things always seems to work fine and quickly. All the staff at the location from the parking tenant, advisors, front desk to even the shuttle service are very attentive and nice. Definitely will be coming back in the future for any more work to be done

THEN ON MAY THE 9TH I HAVE MY CREDIT SCORE DROP 50 POINTS BECAUSE BMW USA SAID I MISSED FEBRUARY PAYMENT. THIS DEALERSHIP TOOK MY CAR IN DECEMBER AND DIDN'T PAY IT OFF TILL MARCH THE FOLLOWING YEAR. STAY CLEAR OF THIS DEALERSHIP.
After going 2 BMW in Great Neck queens New York I was reassured that my car was repaired after 2 whole days. I asked for loaner and they told me that unfortunately I could not get a loaner because I did not have an appointment. I explained to Melissa that I would have had an appointment if I was aware that my car was going to malfunction on the highway. The service Advisor was extremely rude, short unpleasant, dismissive and made me feel as if I was bothering her, you should not have Melissa Nalbach representing your name! She basically told me too bad, that's your policy.
After I get frustrated she tells me they have a shuttle that can take me 5 miles. I tell her I need a ride. Finally, she explains i have the option to rent a car....Finally.... Finally. "But it's not a BMW " I tell her i don't care.....I Need a ride. She wants to play games with customer's time & emotions. I got my car back drive to Greensboro, North Carolina for a wedding, the gear shift light comes on, drivers restraint says it's malfunctioning.
I take it in to Crown BMW Greensboro, NC it was like night & day. Katherine Jones service Advisor was friendly, listened but by the time I get on the road for home it's night (last night) pouring rain the gear shift says it's Unable to shift. They reassured me I'd make it home, Thanks to rainX I did because the windshield wipers stop working, the radio comes on. The window cracks, rain comes in, thank God for rainX otherwise I would not have made it as far as my fiancees home. Because I'm in NYC not NJ.
Now Freeport BMW is telling me they have no loaners until August 8th. I'm stuck in Ny with no help from BMW what a 60k headache. I been with you since 2012 & it's a relationship that's gone down the drain. I should have known this the first time when I bought my last new BMW from your Morristown dealership & they put the wrong tag on my car. It was quite a surprise when NJ authorities alerted me of running tolls it took Morristown BMW months to correct this issue. I guess because they NEVER confirmed that it was fixed after they tried to convince me that was my fault too until NJ TURNPIKE authorities sent a picture of the 1992 Honda accord of the car that was running the tolls. BMW one expensive headache. Never again! But no one is as bad as Bayside.....

BMW of Bayside was very unfair. The salesperson cannot handle the deal that we ordered and waited for 6 weeks to recieve. The time of recieving the new car they raised the amount that we signed. Hopefully I went to Rallye BMW and not only get a better car and higher model but cheaper amount. I will never go back to Bayside BMW. >:(

I dont know why I waste my time here.....just that it's local. Every 3 years I lease a new BMW and every three years I ask myself that......they are always the highest priced, the least helpful and it always seems to take 45 minutes for them to give you a price. I dont know how they stay in business. Better to drive another 20 minutes to another dealer and save $300 a month on your lease!!! I will never come here again......lesson learned.

The service for Bayside it horrible. The worst experience ever !! Had to bring my car back 4 times for the same issue. Had to wait for about 2 hours to either drop my car off or pick it up. They do not know how to run a business that has high volume. They charged my credit card for charges that I shouldn't of been issued and no one is trying to even help resolve it. To get someone to call you back is impossible !!!! I left several messages for managers and NOTHING!!! To carry a name of BMW that is suppose to be a luxury car this dealership is nothing but a trashy unorganized MESS !!! I am totally regretting buying a BMW !!

I am continually disappointed and disgusted by this place. The latest issue is a part they replaced is faulty so I have to take it to them for repair. They won't have any loaners for 2 weeks and they don't offer any other options. I can also bring it in on Saturday (I'm writing this on a Friday) but they won't get to it until Monday and it's a 1 to 2 day job. So is this what the BMW experience is like? Hmm! Won't be doing this ever again. My wife drives Mercedes. She laughs every time I go through these issues and says "I never have a problem" . Did I mention Mercedes does excellent car washes after service.

Just picked up our new X5 earlier today! Big thanks to Fabian, Dennis (finance) and Dennis (sales) were absolutely fantastic, polite and professional.
Fabian gave us an excellent price over the phone and after a little back and fourth made an appointment to come in. He even helped us start the process over the phone so we were only in the dealership for 45 minutes or so. He answered all questions we had as well. He was off the day we picked up the car but we needed it that day so he had Dennis help us out and teach us about our new BMW and show us how things were different from our previous 2011 7 series.
Being in the car business myself, I hold salesmen and dealerships to very high standards and BMW of Bayside certainly exceeded those standards!
