My partner and I recently visited this dealership to find a demo/used Mini. Blown away by the outstanding customer service preferred by Ilya Saveliev from the moment we stepped in Melbourne BMW till we took delivery of our gleaming car. He is very pleasant to deal with, patiently attended to with our numerous queries and highly professional, and very knowledgeable about the car.

To be honest we didn't expect to buy a car that same day but I have to say, Ilya completely sold it to us, so I had to cancel an appointment with another dealership that same day. The whole team (Michelle Le & Sarah Seng) provided a seamless process from choosing the right vehicle to finance and also the after market sales.

The boot load of gifts added a special touch. I highly recommended anyone interested in purchasing a car from this dealership ask for Ilya to help them with all your needs. Thank you Melbourne BMW! Keep up the awesome work!!

Hi All,
Bought pre owned BMW X3 in June end in 2019 and commenting on services received.
Let me first start in good note for the good customer service I received from sales team and from David Montgomery who is ready to help and support customer wherever possible.
Now talking about the experience from servicing department is really not as per standards stated by BMW. Servicing team doesn't stick on their word for delivering vehicle, neither they update customer about the delays in vehicle pick up and to top it don't even consider responding to mails.
The reason for the above statement is explained below:
On picking up the vehicle the boot panel broke down right in front of showroom. And there were few scratch marks around the car too which were promised to be repainted. Got the servicing booked for following week to get them corrected and along with that the software update in vehicle and checking the mirror folding functionality.
The vehicle was suppose to be returned in couple of days which was then delayed to a week and then finally got my vehicle back after 2.5 weeks. During this they informed that mirror foldings are working but on pick up date when they were not working it was informed that feature is unavailable in that model of car. Really surprised by the miss communication and also lack of awareness team has for the product being sold to customer. To express their gratitude for delayed service they did provided extension of free basic service extension from 2 to 5 years. But the question is that no one from servicing every kept me updated on their own on missing their delivery dates. It was me who use to follow up again and again by calling and visiting showroom literally every third day.
Have been asking about the details of tyre in the car and have been chasing up on mail but fail to have any response to that as well. It seem servicing team don't even bother to acknowledge the email.
Anyways I am repenting my decision of buying car from this franchise and others please be mindful.

I picked up my new BMW X6 on the 27th November 2020 and overall my experience was great at Melbourne BMW on Kings Way! Jin Zheng was very helpful and knew exactly what we wanted. Mia Le (Business Manager) was fantastic in providing an overview of our options. I highly recommend Jin and Mia!

One downside is the gift we received as we have spent a lot of money on our new car but all we got was a standard Christmas gift box full of chocolates. I purchased my first BMW a few years ago from the Southbank showroom and received fancy riedel glasses and the car was a lot cheaper than the X6.

Buying a car is never a fun job, however my experience with both Andrew Curtis and Ben Erceg in May 2019 was a very easy and pleasant one. Andrew listened to what my needs and budget and suggested a 125i demo, I took it for a drive and 10 minutes later we negotiated a deal that was acceptable on both sides - so easy and uncomplicated and none of the usual sales tactics that annoy so many of us. Ben then took over the transaction for delivery, Ben is very enthusiastic and went above and beyond to ensure this sale was delivered in a professional manner. I would highly recommend this professional dealership to anyone who is looking for a fuss free engagement for the purchase of their next BMW.

No business? In the market for i3. Unfortunately the sales person i was dealing with was due leave. I made the effort to spend an hour of my lunch hour to visit them to see what deal they could do and said they will follow up.

Don't seem to be bothered in taking my business so I went elsewhere and got the model i wanted from perhaps a better dealership that wasn't so big that they actually cared.

My husband and I have had an outstanding experience with Tommy from BMW Kings Way. Tommy was friendly, patient with all our (my) questions and requests, not pushy (which in my opinion is rare when it comes to car salesmen) and timely with his communication, nothing was too much to ask. We've previously bought from other BMW dealerships in the Melbourne area and will now only buy from Tommy at BMW Kings Way.

The service staff made a hell of a drama for the Loan vehicle, I was threatened by the staff over the phone. Along with a Service that was advised if Free of Cost actually costed me nearly $800.... They don't keep to their own promises and don't actually care.. Go at your own risk along with if you have Too much Time and Money to waste..

Give me single reason to come back to your dealership and not to go to Doncaster or Essendon Field. Just one reason...

Bought my dream car from Melbourne BMW - Kings Way and just wanted highly recommend Sean Mara for his excellent personal and professional service throughout the process of searching for the right car at the right price. Buying a new car can be overwhelming however Sean Mara made it feel real comfortable and kept me in the loop until delivery.

I personally don't dress the part walking into a dealership and some salesmen from other dealerships have treated me with no respect. One particular BMW dearlership lost me as their customer because of a poor experience and its their loss as I've owned 5 since.

Bought a X3 30D on from them on 5th June and has been a nightmare ever since. The sales representative forgot the welcome gift. Had to go there again to pick it up. Got the wrong spare key. Had to take the car in twice for them to figure out the key is wrong. Now instead of fixing the issue they switched half the key with wrong one and even broke the one that was working. Now the remote is not working at all. Wonder why I bought a BMW, should have bought an alto instead.

Our salesperson reneged our appointment (without telling us) because he assumed (wrongly) that we did not have an extra $5,000 to increase a preliminary offer we made on a car sight unseen.
Then as we were in the final (<5%) of agreeing an offer, the dealership (without telling us) increased price by $7000. When asked, we were told it was due to demand .

Honestly go to any other dealer in Melbourne, I would have never thought buying a new /demo BMW feel like dealing with used car salesmen .
The staff refused to provide contact details, had poor follow up and dismissed attempts by my wife to ask about the car.

Ps during lockdown the sales team swore black and blue they are essentially workers! Tough life on the front line at BMW Melbourne !

Tim Vanderkley looked after us professionally and courteously from the beginning till delivery and answered all our questions quickly even on days when he wasn't at work. I contacted the BMW dealership by phone and was introduced to Tommy. There was sincerity in his conversation and despite living a fair distance from this dealership I drove in on a Sunday to close the sale. Tommy provided a great service and enhanced the customer experience. He has great customer relationship management skills, almost felt like talking to a mate. I actually didn't feel like he was trying to sell me a car, but trying to understand what will make me happy. We spoke less than a minute about the price and more about the car that I really want. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him.

Especially impressed with Nick Verginis from my initial just looking thanks to becoming comfortable with discussing what I wanted Nick took the trouble to find out what I wanted and succeeded in fulfilling my needs.
A particularly pleasant experience considering I have been vacillating about what to get for 2 years.

My car had an issue after few months, BMW was 100% focus to fix everything and gave me a replacement car that has 0 km on it. Talk about nervous!! but it was a blessing in disguise as my car turned out perfect even 8 yrs down the track!

We signed the papers, they handed us the keys and that was it. Oh, but they did leave a dented gift box with a bottle of olive oil and stale crackers in the boot. I've had poor experiences in the past dealing with Service department of BMW dealerships but was stoked with my most recent visit and based on this can strongly recommend BMW Kings Way.

I dealt with Harley who I found to be super personable and made me feel really comfortable throughout the whole process, one which I always find to be daunting.

I'm not very "car savvy" and always feel like I'm getting fleeced when I'm getting my car serviced and I feel like mechanics are talking in a different language. Harley explained things in a straightforward way that even I could understand. I appreciated his easy to digest, no-nonsense approach.

All in all 5 stars! I'm really happy with the outcome .

Before coming to bmw, I have test driven Range Rover and jaguar but I was quite impressed by the car and the level of customer service offered by Tommy. I had a pretty ordinary experience at this dealership. I dealt with Roger regarding a second hand BMW M2. What I found rude was the fact that he would not negotiate on price. He wanted the full advertised price and would not even drop it by a little bit.

I thought it might be because this is a particularly nice car - but I went to other dealerships and had a very different experience. Ended up getting a great deal on an M2 in much better condition. In fact, the car Roger wouldn't negotiate on is still for sale over a month later. I won't be going back to this dealership.

Ben took the time to show us all the different models, offered a test drive and talked us through the various options of each of the models. It was a very pleasant experience, beginning to end. Not at any given time did we feel that the sale was pushed on us or was rushed. Once we pulled the trigger, Ben was great in communicating with us in keeping us updated on the delivery of the car. Somehow he managed to get it to us earlier than expected - on Dec 24th. What a great Christmas present. Big thanks to Tim & Ben from Kings Way BWM for the great experience. My rating is based off of dealing with one sales person in particular, so it's probably not reflective of the organisation.
That being said the fact that this person was employed by this dealership is inexcusable!
A good sales person respects any and all business and everyone has a budget.
I walked in looking for an 80 thousand dollar BMW and was made to feel so small. I was basically told that my budget was too low. There are different more polite ways to tell a buyer that what they're looking for is in a higher price range.
I was basically told I was too poor to buy a BMW.

Well sorry to say 2 days later I bought a car from Mercedes for double what I initially wanted to spend and I'm stoked at how good my experience with Mercedes-Benz Melbourne was!
