Very disappointed my grandma bought us a car from here. Had problems with it from the get go. They sold us a car for 12,000 it got hit when it was parked and very fast we found out the value was only worth $4,000 so now we still owe 10,000 on a vehicle that we don't even have. They doubled the value and we wondered for so long why everyone was fighting so hard for us to get the car.

I had heard bad reviews regarding Landmark Chevrolet but I am a firm believer in shopping locally! I live in the immediate area so I first went to Landmark to shop for my new vehicle. I knew what I wanted and I knew with my credit rating it would be tough but these guys worked with me, and worked fast to get me exactly what I wanted at a competitive price. Very, very happy with my new Equinox!
BUYER BEWARE !!! I purchased a classic '71 VW convertible thru the dealership as a used car. It was advertised on Ebay in these words. "You are bidding on the nicest VW Convertible that we've ever seen! The previous owner of this VW only drove her 47,000 miles over the years. Always stored in his climate controlled garage, and only driven on sunny days. Which means that this one was never used for daily transportation, and only for fun. No matter how or where you look at this car, IT IS LIKE BRAND NEW For Sale!!! Although this gentleman had a lot more expensive examples in his garage, he pampers them all. There is absolutely nothing that needs attention. It's perfect! The updated Hartz Cloth Top and wheels set it apart from the rest. She runs flawlessly and has never been messed with. That's the difference. All maintenance receipts will go with the car. If you are looking for the ultimate VW Convertible, then you should deeply consider this fine example of Basic German ingenuity. We have set a very reasonable Buy it Now for such a fun low mileage S/B/Convertible.................. And, now for the truth. I had been looking for a nice VW for about 6 months & to find one described as above & sold by a car dealer seemed to be perfect. The car looked absolutely beautiful on line & at the dealership. When We trailered it home I located a VW mechanic who worked on classic VW's & made a appt. for a tune-up, oil change, valve adjustment, etc. When I picked the car up, he had taken pictures of the undercarriage which showed, among other things, previous accident damage, bent front coil spring & front strut damage, engine oil leaks, including between the heads & engine block which would require an engine rebuild, extensive (with a capital E) rust including the frame & floor pans with a piece of aluminum glued into place & not covered by massive amounts of undercoating as was the rest of the undercarriage. The VW mechanic suggested I take it to a body shop to let them determine whether the car is safe enough to be road worthy. Did I mention that the clutch slave cylinder is leaking fluid? Also, the tie rod bushings are completely worn. In reality, this VW received nothing more than a cosmetic restoration. Mechanically it is an absolute nightmare. What do I want out of this experience? At best, I want my money back. If not, I want people to know what I am going thru. BEWARE!!!.
10/25/19 UPDATE - - I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau stating ALL the glowing comments the dealer made in describing the car I purchased. The brother of the dealership owner, who I had absolutely no contact with, filed a rebuttal with the BBB claiming that I (and my mechanic friend) was totally at fault for not performing a thorough examination of the car before taking possession of it. In retrospect I suppose I should have been more careful, but I foolishly placed my trust in the dealership & what turned out to be a total misrepresentation of the condition of the car. The rebuttal filed was based solely on second hand information (hearsay) & had very little relationship with the truth. To further compound matters, another brother, who actually owned the car I purchased, offered to pay me $3000 to repair the car or to buy it back from me for $2900 less than what I paid for it. Neither offer was acceptable to me. WHAT A FAMILY !!!! Where will this all lead to ?? I call the dealership asking to speak to either of the brothers but get lame excuses as to their whereabouts - on vacation, with a customer, out on the lot, will give them a message, blah, blah, blah ! I will not let this rest. It will only escalate from here.

Called the dealership to speak to service about getting tires for my 2016 Malibu that I just bought from them last year.. Yes I need tires already. Hmmmm pissed... Spoke with a Walt in the Service Dept and yes he was rude. I asked if they were opened on Saturdays for Service and he stated no so I asked what are people suppose to do that work during the week from 8-5 and he said very rudely to me on the phone " just like we do here if we need time off from take it off" . Are you kidding me.. I honestly will think twice about ever buying a car from them again. I thought smaller Dealership better service. I guess not. I probably should of stuck with Ed Shults.
We were shopping for a new vehicle and had visited several area dealerships, but when we arrived at Landmark, we knew we were in the right place. The staff was courteous and helpful, especially our salesman, Joe Crandall, who took extra time to help us find the Equinox that WE LOVE. Excellent experience. Thank you.
Joe was an absolutely wonderful salesman and made the entire experience of looking for, and purchasing a car easy! I really cannot say enough kind things about Joe and the entire staff. While the website was not as enticing as the in person experience, the staff really made up for it! It only took a few hours from the start of looking at vehicles to having paperwork done and being on my way home. Especially with COVID, the staff were patient and the entire facility clean! I was extremely cautious with looking for a vehicle here, as I wanted to be able to look through the website as most of my generation does. However, the dealership had so much more to offer in person and I would highly recommend shopping here and will definitely be back again myself!
I think I will leave a review for a friend. While the purchase was seamless and helpful, the aftermath is not. 30 day warranty then the car becomes a nightmare and shes 15k in the hole. New clutch needed $1400 later, gave her no deal. Now she owes another $1400 on top of the $15k. Lets not forget the sensors going off after that replacement, they didnt care. AC compressor and clutch shot. $15k for a car with no AC.. incredible. Now gas tank isnt reading correctly, engine light comes on and off. Lemon laws need to be changed. Totally taken advantage of. You need to give her a new car! I am looking for a car but not buying from Landmark.
Don't call you back. Try to sell junk. Test drove Colorado 2007 it was junk. 2012 Subaru a nice ride. They try to charge double for cars. Don't buy from them.
I have bought 6 vehicle from Landmark and had them all serviced at Landmark. In the more than 10 years I have been a customer I have always been very satisfied with the service I have received! Great place to buy a car or truck!
5 stars for the service department. Very impressed with Dennis there. He is an all around great guy to work with, he jumped right on the vehicles issues and has been very good about getting them fixed up!
Bought a car from here for 9900$, and put 5000$ down payment. They gave a loan term of 5 years with 200$ payments. They sold this to a girl that was a first time car buyer. I calculated the interest rate after I was told about this, and it turned out to be a 28% interest rate. Wow, they should feel ashamed.
Highly recommend going to landmark for your vehicle! They work with you every step and go over the top to make sure the buyer is satisfied. I m a first time buyer and they made it happen for me!
Painless!!! We had done our fair share of trying to find the vehicle we wanted. Had been to other dealerships, and just weren't impressed. These guys made every aspect of our deal amazing! Was very happy with how quickly the deal was done and had what I wanted. Not happy within the first week check engine light came on, took the vehicle back, reset the sensors and off I go. Came back on called and was told it was the gas cap, I said "when my inspection is due i dont feel it would pass", no you will be fine was the reply. 1 year later, wont pass inspection..after a heated conversation with the service manager...I got a call back later saying they would cover it....ok at this point a happy customer. Went back purchased another vehicle again first week engine light comes on and tires go flat. Now, they will fix it at half the cost out of pocket....are you kidding???? Resetting so engine light come on the first week and not cover it 100%?? Sorry Landmark. Will not return.
I recently bought a new Chevy Trailblazer from Landmark. It was such a wonderful experience. The staff was very nice and friendly during such uncertain times. Joe went above and beyond for me and made sure I got the exact make and model car I wanted. I would defiantly buy another car from Landmark and will be recommending them to all of my family and friends.

I bought a used 2012 Nissan maxima from these guys and was happy at first then everything started breaking 2 months after I got it and they over charged me for everything and made me feel like I was doing something wrong? Then when they fixed the car I got it back and it had damage done to the door! I called to report it and the lady was so rude I hung up on her! Very unfriendly place and they harass their customers! I wish I would have went somewhere else!

The guys there are helpful and don't put pressure on you. I test drove just about every Silverado on the lot before picking one and they didn't even blink at letting me do so.

Went to Landmark for an oil change and an inspection. Talked to Dennis Conklin and he was very helpful. The car had a few issues the tirod being one of them. Dennis took his time to explain what this was and that it was so bad it could snap at any time. Needless to say my tirod was replaced in a timely manner and the oil was changed as well. Dennis was very helpful and honest. Thank you Dennis for all of your help and a great experience.
Not good Lots of problems and had to make many trips back and forth without getting any compresation and I live 45 miles away All other dealerships have always gave me something for my time etc Like a free oil change, gas etc Nothing Very dissatisfied

Had a very long drawn out time getting decent tires after being promised better tires than the dryrotted ones that I was sold the truck with. Finally they got ahold of me after several months and said id have to pay half for the tires because there wasnt enough money in the deal for him the do it all. THE TRUCK SHOULD NOT HAVE PASSED NYS INSPECTION WITH DRYROTTED TIRES. I BROUGHT IT BACK BECAUSE THE BRAKES WERE MAKING NOISE. THEY SAID THEY "ADJUSTED THEM". ONE MONTH LATER I WAS TOLD BY MY LOCAL SHOP I NEED BRAKES ALL THE WAY AROUND. Come to find out now they put passanger tires on it to save money instead of Light truck tires as the sticker in the doorjam states are required. Now 10 months later I am buying 4 new tires. Super sketchy place. Wish I had went somewhere else. All I can do now is advise others to avoid this dealership. BOTH THE BRAKES AND TIRES SHOULDN'T HAVE PASSED INSPECTION. BUT THEY JUST THREW A STICKER ON AND SOLD IT ANYWAY. BUYERS BEWARE!

The service department always gets me in in a timely manner, and Joe at the sales department has gone above and beyond in looking for new vehicles for me. Our buying experience was quick and painless !! Great sales and financing staff. After a few weeks of looking for a truck, it was suggested that we check out Landmark, figuring it would be like all the others, a stop and go. They had the exact truck I had been looking at, but the newest year. Joe was very laid back and knowledgeable, and did not pressure at all. Terry was able to get financing that we were happy with, and I left there with my new truck the same day. Every thing was handled seamlessly.
