DON'T DO IT TO YOURSELVES PLEASE READ THIS

DON'T DO IT TO YOURSELVES PLEASE READ THIS
I have waited months to write this in the hope that somehow the issues we have had would get better, in the hope that they would "restore the faith" as they said they would.
It has only got worse
We purchased an M3 Competition, second hand, but it was just a few months old. On the day we collected it in March there was an obvious issue with a loud cracking noise when we turned the steering wheel. We called the same day & it was booked in 5 days later.
We were told 4 times it was Top Mount Suspension arm, & 4 times it went in to be fixed, & 4 times it came back with the same issue. I was told it was safe, but this really was not the point as we purchased the car to show it & how can you show a car making that sort of noise? Hardly anything to be proud of.
Additionally, there were other issues, speakers rattling, dashboard vibrating & the door cards detached from the passenger door. Even coming back with damage to the door which they repaired, and promptly stuck an advertising “dent repair” sticker inside the driver door.
By June, after 7 visits to the dealership, I was over it and wanted our money back, but we were asked to let them "restore the faith" & were given an extended warranty. Foolishly I agreed to give them 1 last chance, warning them that if anything further occurred, I wanted a refund.
It took until July 11 to get the car correctly diagnosed as a Shock Absorber issue, why? on a car that was just a few months old. I was told "parts fail" & the noise is similar to top mount. 4 times though?
I accept that parts fail, except that we have now learned that the car was heavily modified prior to our purchase which is likely the cause. It had a lowering kit on it & "pipe" exhausts & this was not disclosed to us prior to purchase. We know they knew about it.
Prior to learning this information however, we let them have the car for repair from 11 July until mid August, however when it was returned to us, the headlight sensor had not been reset, meaning the lights pointed straight up, dazzling oncoming traffic, I was abused by a man whilst driving it as a result.
When I called BMW the next day about this I was told "we didn't touch the headlights" I had to google the fact that the car has a sensor that needs resetting after such works. Restoring the faith?
2 WEEKS LATER - A TPM warning light - TYRE PRESSURE MANAGEMENT
We took it in again.
We were advised that the TPM had switched to track tyres for some reason, this reason was not investigated.
Sure enough, we drove it home and the TPM light came on again.
So back it went again.
The TPM needs replacing I am now told & the part would take some weeks for it to come in & so the car was left on site with Brisbane BMW.
That weekend, we received notification from the BMW APP that the car was unlocked. We went to look for it & found it under a partially open roof, windows down, lights on, ignition on, on charge (for reasons we still don't know) We were told the keys were in a safe, but I am not convinced
There was dust from the nearby construction everywhere, I have photos, the suede/leather/carbon interior was completely open to insects, dust, birds and of course rain. We are not averse to swirling winds & rain in Brisbane & this is exactly what we got that day. I had to wait until Monday to collect it & I finally let them know my feelings. This was 10 days ago. I have still not received the response I asked for in relation to this event, but I have received an arrogant response that they "fixed" everything so far & are still fixing all the other things as if to say “what’s the issue?” I haven’t even had a written apology for leaving my car wide open nor comment re: the modifications. We have been so patient, "lovely to deal with & reasonable" (their words) yet here we are.
My reasonableness expired last week & I am so angry.
We still await the TPM for its repair btw. Our car sits in our garage because they cannot be trusted to keep it safe. My car was not the only car with windows and doors open, disgraceful.

I bought a new BMW in October. Definitely enjoying the new car. The service received from staff at BMW is not the greatest, would recommend buying from a different dealer. Be careful not to be stung when they let you know about the capped price servicing. The price they offer changes and they don't let you know it will go up prior to the first service... Was told $1550 and can be purchased anywhere up to the time of first servicing but now the cost is $1650 and it's only been 5 months.

I have had nothing but amazing experiences with Brisbane BMW. I had my first 2 series for 3 years and the service the entire time was phenomenal , plus the car never skipped a beat! Have just upgraded to a new 3 series and again, the service has been impeccable. The team at Brisbane BMW are hands down the best car dealership, couldn't recommend them enough!

The honest and trustworthy dealership service I have been so far.

We had been treated as VIP customers although we owned the old model BMW cars and we have no idea about the car.

The price was reasonable and they don't lie to us for unnecessary parts changing.

Highly recommended!

I love my car
But car service is interesting. I always wait till I have been informed it's ready only to then spend 45min to hour sitting around waiting for it to be ready

We have owned a BMW in South Africa, the US, Canada and have received service at BMW Port Macquarie (excellent) and BMW Newcastle (excellent). What a disappointing experience at BMW Brisbane this morning...The Manager couldn't even be bothered responding to a phone call from last week or at the garage this morning...

Robbie Venardos is the best service advisor I have ever dealt with bar none. I changed my preferred service centre from Westside BMW (when I owned an M140i LCI-2) to Brisbane BMW for my 2019 F80 M3 as a result of Robbie changing dealerships. Robbie continuously exceeds my expectations every time and nothing is ever too much trouble for him - from sourcing me a loan car to making me a coffee.

I will not trust anyone else to look after my M3 other than Robbie. To the Management of Brisbane BMW - Robbie is 100% the MVP/Best on Ground/Man of the Match for the Brisbane BMW team in my humble opinion.
