One of the best airport in Central Asia by far. Amenities are current, up to date and cleanliness is top notch. Check-in lines are well manned and well managed. Very orderly. Arrivals and departure areas are spacious despite the overall smaller layout. The interior designs are modern. And the WiFi connection is awesome and it s free.
One of the best airports in the world in terms of infrastructure. Recently visited baku and totally loved the city and the airport as well. It gives you a very good feeling and the whole process of reaching the plane is quite smooth.
I really like the architecture. Modern and unique design but with small shops. I really like the sleep pods which are very useful for long layover. You just have to be fast in reserving your space as there s only a few of it.
Skytrax 5 stars rated airport. Really fresh and new all around. Impressive inside and new scanning and security equipment make this airport amazing. Toilets are clean. Duty free area is small as the airport itself. Charging stations everywhere and comfy waiting area. Have not seen any business class lounges though. Catering area is also very small. Parking outside is plenty of spaces.

It would be great if there would be better F&B options near the departure gates as the food options are very limited.. There is a spa as well inside where you can relax.. On the first floor the business class lounges are situated.. The bathroom facilities are clean and hygienic.. Don t come too early as there is nothing much to do inside..

Very beautifully designed airport, use of modern technology and well maintained. Immigration was very quick. People are polite and prompt.
