This is a really good aquarium there is lots to do and see. The staff were very helpful especially restaurant staff I took my 2 year old and 1 year old they were able to warm both kids dinners up for me. plenty if staff dotted around most happily talked to us about animals. Talks about most animals most of day. There was a play area for little people to tire themselves out. Would definitely recommend this place!

Arrived at the Blue Planet today at 4.02pm looking to spend the last hour of the day here with my grandson only to be told that we couldn't go in because they had cashed up!! I said I would happily pay by card or cash (as at this point my grandson was getting upset), and was told no I couldn't do that as the manager had told them to cash up at 4pm! Ridiculous to turn people away surely these attractions need every penny they can get!

Nice place, but don't need a full day for it. Paid a highly reduced entrance fee. Don't think I'd pay the full price. Kids enjoyed moving floor through sharks/Ray Fish, etc. Tunnel. Also enjoyed small outdoor playground

Great day out, fantastic exhibits and the staff were very informative.

Would certainly recommend the shark talk in front of the giant tank, the girl who gave the talk was lovely, and happy to answer additional questions afterwards.

Thoroughly enjoyed our day out, 3 month old loved the shark tunnel and big tank - looking forward to visiting again soon!

It s full of fish and stuff. There that s my review. But seriously it s a very nice place. Clean and very well maintained. But the price blimey! We stretched the visit out as much as we could. We watched the pelicans being fed and the shark tank talk but we were done in an hour and been back out on the empty car park. We did love the conveyor belt walkway that takes you along the shark tunnel that is very neat. Helps moves people along. We did that twice. We just kept feeling like we had missed a part of it. We hadn t, we checked the map.

Not bad place to visit, but over too soon. Wouldn't recommend taking children under age of 3, think they'd find it boring. Safes don't shut properly. Lil escalator to take you through the underwater part wasn't working so had to walk through it. That was best part of it all

We have just got back from the aquarium and we loved it. We took our kids aged 4 and 1 1/2. The shark tunnel is the best feature. It was very quiet when we went so we got to see all of the fish easily. I would highly recommend a visit.

I visited my today with my daughter and three grandchildren all aged under 2 yrs. During this difficult time of covid I felt that the Blue Planet could be doing a lot more to be protecting their visitors. Areas were too congested and nobody appeared to be sticking to the social distancing. What should have been an enjoyable couple of hours out felt like a constant struggle to keep my distance from others. Come on Blue Planet, restrict your numbers in certain areas so we can all enjoy our time there.

Had a really good day out with our family. Really fun and informative and good selection of animals. Food services were okay and ability to bring your own lunch is great. Highly recommended if you have kids and need an activity day out.

Not well kept. Tons of cheap ride machines to try and take more money off parents. No signs showing where exhibitions are. The ray feeding was awful, food was thrown into the tank the staff gave the viewers no information about the rays or what they were feeding them. Lots of the information around the aquarium was outdated or missing. Not worth the entry fee.

A really enjoyable couple of hours. I know the cost is high, but given the quality of the animals on exhibit I think it's a fair one. The tunnel is fairly spectacular with several pretty large sharks in the tank. The tasks and feeding sessions are pretty frequent and varied throughout the day. I'd recommend a visit here but do not expect to spend a whole day. The cost of entry does mean you can go in and out all day if you wish as long as you get your hand stamped before leaving.

A fair few empty displays. Poor information of what's in tanks. Tunnel was cool. Cafe took forever to get served by staff (no queue, just bad staff) too expensive for what it is. Better off at Chester zoo

Good displays, but very expensive for what you get. You'll be there for a maximum of 2 hours, they charge for parking ontop of the expensive ticket pricing and while I was there, many of the exhibitions were broken, including the diving show

Still an amazing place, however even though there was plenty of signage for Covid-19 restrictions throughout the aquarium, there was little to no enforcement throughout. No social distancing, and people were not wearing face masks.
As an employee of the hospitality industry, I know it's difficult to manage, but unfortunately there wasn't much being done. Parents letting their children run wild, and pushing past people, and entire families not distancing from other groups.

Could have been better.

I won t be returning. You pay for parking, the place itself is overpriced and we finished the whole aquarium in less than an hour. For how much they charge PP you d have thought they d give the place a bit of a revamp. I enjoy other aquariums but this place is so boring.

It may have just been the day we were there but only half the people were wearing masks and you'd be stood at an exhibit and feel people breathing down your necks. They need more staff throughout reminding people to wear their masks as they just take them off when they're in

Nice place for a day out, lots of marine animals even got to see someone scuba diving in the big aquarium. The restaurant downstairs was a bit rough and ready and queuing was a bit of a pain (but you kinda expect that from a popular place) the lift was broken so we had to go down a slightly more dodgy staff one but apart from that everything was really pretty and fun.

Pretty shocking really. Seriously needs to be renevated it looks like it hasn't been cleaned since I've last been there, And that was almost 17 years ago. The show was cool but she didn't really tell us much about the fish, just told us their names and what they like to do but no actual real information. Really nothing to do in all honesty, food was awful. My mother had to send her cake back because it was stail. Come here if you have kids but make sure you take them for McDonalds after or else they'll be somewhat dissapointed about their day.
