Would I go again? Probably not. Am I glad I've been? Yeah. There are some really cool exhibits here, the stand out was certainly the tunnel which is probably the most impressive I've seen in an aquarium. My two sons loved it, running from More

Great place to visit but would be better if they had school trips separated from public days. 3 school trips when we went and we couldn't hear each other and we had to leave the area and look elsewhere. Maybe they should close on a Monday to the public and just have school trips on that day. It was the only thing that ruined our visit

Enjoyed our family outing with our 9 month old (who was a lot more interested than we thought she'd be). Bit on the expensive side for what is only an hour or 2 entertainment unless you catch a feeding session or 2 and a bit cheeky in my opinion to charge for parking although the parking ticket entitles you to a brew. Could also do with better localised signage in my opinion.
Walkways quite clear and great to see so many fish and different varieties. All staff were very friendly, helpful and accomodating. We will go back and recommend a visit for all my moans.

Great place very informative about all the fish etc, BUT after all the information about Endangered Species I was horrified to see no recycling bin in the cafe. As the staff were cleaning the tables all rubbish including cardboard cups, plastic bottles etc were just being placed in the rubbish bin. I asked the lad clearing the tables where this bin got emptied and he just said out the back. I cannot believe we are encouraged to keep the oceans clean and they don t make the effort to put a separate bin for recyclables. If the bin was there people would use it. I won t be returning. Such a shame, double standards, protect the fish but let s dump our rubbish in the ocean as we cannot be bothered to get an extra bin.

Due to the current pandemic, I found myself waiting over an hour to get in. The aquarium was good, but it seemed over too soon.

The cafe had dampened the mood. It seemed too small and understaffed for the amount of visitors inside. Long queue, slow service, overpriced and not fresh (ordered pizza).

It's very expensive for the amount of time you will actually spend here. Having said that what is here is very good, the underwater carousel in particular. Charging for parking is rubbing salt in the wounds, so park over at the coliseum or cheshire oaks and walk over.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. However you can get done with everything in an hour and a bit , therfore I wasn't too pleased as it took longer to get there than the amount of time I spent there. I ignored reviews as I had made my mind up. But I'd definitely recommend thinking twice if its going to take you longer than 40 minutes to get there...

It hasn't changed since it opened in 1998. It's in need of an update.
The animals where super, but I would say in some places it was too dark to read the info. They are missing any sea conservation info and with the oceans been a massive focus for people these days it seems silly not to have anything.
The pelican bay is just a bit depressing, with several pelicans hanging out in a muddy puddle.
And most of downstairs seems to be dedicated to a massive restaurant, which smelled like a greasy spoon.
And the gift shop was a toy shop really, lots of soft toys which is great, but no books or anything educational. And they are trying to get on the save the seas with a bring a plastic bottle and get 10% off some merchandise, but with it been sat next to a lot of unsustainable brands and plastic toys I found it to be a weak attempt and not giving a clear message.
Over all it was a bit disappointing and out dated and rather expensive. Which is a shame. I hope they turn it around.

Definitely not worth the money. The amount of arcade machines designed to snatch children's attention away from the exhibits is shocking. Food over priced and poor, staff unfriendly. Save your money or go the zoo instead. Last time we went for free which meant it was priced about right.

Loved it, however felt it was perhaps a little small. You can walk through the place and be completely done in like an hour. Also not that paying for parking is too much of an issue, but you can park within a minute walk completely free on the road side.

It was a good day out, the staff where friendly. For me the only fly in the ointment is that it is poorly lit in the public areas , could do with a paint job, cafe improving and new machines . Improving outside would help.

Me a my 3 year old lad decided we fancied a day out together after not being able to do much during lockdown, made the mistake of going on a bank holiday weekend and it was BUSY! but even with that being said we waited an hour the the que to get in. But once in me and my son enjoyed every second inside there, they were very good at making sure that there weren't people crowding into the same place and moving people along. Very friendly and helpful staff from the first employee on the entrance till to the guy and girls at the dining area and shop. Fantastic place to go at any time of the year! Thank you everyone that works there!
