The good. Service is "top notch" and best ever experieinced. Now we did avoided high tourist season. We got moved due to the noise from the people above us and the new room we moved to had features not working properly. They probably located us in a room away from other toursits and it was not fully setup yet due to the season. Then we got updated to VIP status.

Rooms with pools are heated nicely. Rooms are nice and views are breath taking. Breakfast is a work of art and free. The staff drives you around in go-karts. All restaurants and amenities are top notch. Best food in we had on the island was at this resort. Beach is nice but a bit rocky.

Staff, staff, staff are their "any time" you need them 24/7. The staff are the best thing about this resort, and trust me, once you see this resort it is hard to imagine the staff being better. Well they are.

The bad: You may be able to hear other guests in the other room above you and noise can be loud. Bugs since you have maids that keep doors open when they clean and the units are close to the ground. Once you call the staff, they will be their in 5 minutes to spray and clean your entire room immediatly.

Simply amazing place to stay. Staff are very friendly and the attention to detail makes you feel like a vip. We rented a moped & explored Plaka, the Hill top olive farms & Elounda. Would definately come back.

Absolutely top of the line, off the hook place to be in summer. If you think Greece is awesome check this private, exclusive, little corner of the Greek paradise.I may end up moving there myself. See u again Gaga.

Hotel between two small towns, facing the sea. The view from the terrace or the bedroom alone is worth the trip, whether during the day or at night when the island opposite is lit up.
Hotel of great relaxation, staffed with high quality and remarkably efficient staff, all with a smile.

We went for half board expecting dinner to be covered but it's only covered with one of the restaurants not the remaining 6! The food is really bad that I couldn't finish my meal, only the breakfast is nice. The air conditioning was humming all the time and the room layout does not give you enough privacy in the bathroom - the bathroom door doesn't close all the way. Things are ridiculously expensive that's its pretty much daylight robbery if you get anything at the hotel, food, taxi, excursions etc. We went to nearby towns plaka and elounda which were a fraction of the cost to do things. Definitely rent a car in crete and try the local places, avoid this hotel. Another thing is that Crete seems to be for old people and not many trendy places around for young people.

The hotel does not correspond to a 5 star standard. It is very noisy. You can hear almost everything the neighbor is talking or speaking. The meals are relatively limited. The spa area offers good massages but other treatments are really bad. We didn't pay ours. The staff is not 100% motivated.

Top quality place with fantastic service. Amazing access to the sea, great facilities, it is hard for me to find a clear area in terms of what can be done better.
For those who want to jump out of the hotel I recommend a walk/run/car trip to the top of the mountains around and Spinalonga.

The grounds are beautiful. From the pools to the private beach everything was incredible the rooms are gorgeous. The service was great, to go anywhere you need a golf cart to take you because it's a nice walk, so they come pick you up really fast.

5+++ star resort from top to bottom. The Blue Palace hotel and entire staff exude excellence in hospitality and attention to detail. The breathtaking views, amazing suites and mouth watering restaurants demonstrates how this Cretian gem operates. We were greater personally by the general manager and head concierge who went out of their way to accommodate any requests. Beautiful deserts and wine were gifted to our suite for our anniversary. After an amazing dinner at their Blue Door Taverna, my family scheduled a private cooking class on their patio overlooking the sea with the head chef. Another incredible and must do. Don t bother with anywhere else and boom your next special occasion or family vacation at Blue Palace. A million thank you s From my family.

BluePalace Review:-

BluePalace Review:-

1. Don t get confused by room descriptions like Spacious Bungalow - It is like any other resort property room. Couldn t understand why hotel calls it Bungalow and Spectacular Seaview - It is nice from main block however not spectacular from newer block

2. Platinum upgrade - It became start our problem. As generally with platinum guest hotel informed at checkin that we have been upgraded. However the room given was felt as in isolated location. The bedroom had just one small window and felt very claustrophobic. There was no direct seaview, you have to come out to the private pool area to get proper seaview. When we requested hotel to change the room they refused that we can give you another room of the category booked but no upgrade. Hotel mentioned that private pool is heated however it did not felt so, despite asking no one from housekeeping came. When we asked hotel staff to give us few water bottles they said that water bottle service will only be at the evening turn down service. Even repetitive asking hotel said that they can only give water in the evening. Later while going out in the evening requested hotel staff to make up my room however after our return the room was in the same status and when called them they said that evening turndown service is till 10 pm and it will be done as per their schedule. This really blew my mind away. Later Hotel AGM called to apologise and offered access to exclusive breakfast area and promise to relook room change. However in the morning all this came with a surprise when hotel staff asked me to pay another 70 euro per night citing some rule. I told them to allow me to check with my travel agent however every time I approached reception for anything like taxi booking etc they will keep asking me repetitively to pay this additional 70 euro. In between we went out for lunch and when returned asked hotel staff my new room key however she refused to give me the keys unless paid the additional 70 euro per night. This was despite telling her that I am yet to hear back from my travel agent and hotel has my card details. This was really so mean of the hotel.
3. Hotel has a furnicular for movement between level. I almost got crushed between the glass door at reception level. There were 5-6 people before me to get in the furnicular and as I was entering the outer glass door started closing and probably it does not has sensor and kept on closing which then I had to force push out.
4. Outside of my room someone banged glass utensils and splintered the glass all across. We waited for almost 20 mins for some housekeeping staff to come and clean the same however only after we called then probably someone came later.

It was good literally EVERYTHING. The hotel is worth the money. Great place, staff, kitchen, spa. It must be borne in mind that not all pools are heated, if you do not arrive in the summer. Shared heated everything. Excellent restaurants on site, fun parties for guests. Comfortable rooms, good sound insulation, comfortable beds. The hotel has some peculiarity - this is the funicular to the beach and the queue to it. But these are trifles. If you arrive in September when the winds begin, everything can be bathed in the sea, it is quite calm in this place thanks to the neighboring island.

High end hotel with great service. Would be even more perfect if it was more stroller friendly... (Visited with two babies)
The lift to the beach is real slow and the alternative is a fairly long walk.
Also, due to the seasonal winds (Maltemic), July and August tend to be very very windy and substantially felt at this hotel.

Nice resort with nice amenities. Unfortunately, the lift to get to the beach is a bit of a pain since the air-con doesn't work well and it takes a while to get to the bottom. Also, since there is only one, it takes a while if you miss the lift. In addition, there are a lot of children at the resort so if you are looking for a peaceful getaway, look elsewhere, but if you have children, it is a great resort.
In addition, we had reserved a private wine tasting for local wines, but when we got to the restaurant, we were turned away due to dress code; we were wearing shorts instead of pants. The restaurant itself has dress code for dinners, but we were not aware the dress code applied for a late afternoon wine tasting. We did not even bring pants on this trip so we were kind of bummed that we could not have the wine tasting. In the end, the hotel staff apologized for the confusion and refunded the wine tasting and even gave free drinks at the bar upstairs. Honestly, the staff at the hotel was absolutely fantastic and made sure everyone had a great time. I would like to give more stars, but there are just a few things that need to improve before I can give more stars.

Nice hotel. Superior food quality. Magnificent view.
Lots of rooms (large hotel complex) but nice layout. A little isolated therefore to choose according to the type of vacation sought. Water sports on the hotel's private beach with lots of activities at very reasonable prices.
Very pleasant helpful and smiling staff

Exceptional. We came with high expectations and we had an amazing time. Beside the facilities, food and viee, I also want to mention the great service. The staff was really helpful with our requests for our 6 months baby. We'll definitely want to visit again

On the down side I can only mention a very mediocre room service and guests who used drones above our private pool.

Great experience overall!

The house has 5 stars and actually deserves. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. However, I forgive the 5 stars, because the restaurants in the hotel unfortunately not the high quality hotel. The house has four restaurants, of which only the Italian restaurant meets the quality criteria. The Asiarestaurant has max. the grade 4, the Greek restaurant Blue Doorbell gets only a 5-; the food is lower average, the senior staff is intrusive, the prices astronomically overpriced. We were not at the steakhouse. Unfortunately, the restaurants affect the actually very good overall rating. We have stayed in many 5 hotels worldwide and nowhere have the restaurants been like the Blui Palace's Asiarestaurant and Blue Door. I recommend, rather in Plaka, or Elounda
or to eat at the Piata in Agios Nikolaos. Consistently significantly better food (partly star quality in Piata) and a fraction of the price.

We stayed at the Blue Palace for our Honeymoon and it was truly amazing! The resort is beautiful with breathtaking views and very friendly staff. They helped all the way to have the dream stay we expected! The maisonette with the private pool are so relaxing! The food is absolutely delicious and really fresh (we loved the fresh grilled fish and mushroom appetizer at the Italian restaurant and the greek salad at the beach restaurant was very tasty too!) Our stay there was unforgettable!

Lovely hotel. Amazing room. We had a room with a private pool and the view was breathtaking. The room, whilst expensive, made the holiday feel very special.

Great staff. Very polite. You even get a button on the beach which alerts the waiting staff. They're normally with you with a few minutes which was an excellent feature.

The area at the top is really nice for an evening drink. Again, stunning views.

Nice breakfast with plenty to chose from. And a good selection of restaurants. We found the Italian to be the most enjoyable. Also the best food. The Greek restaurant wasn't good at all. Way over priced and very average food. Sloppy service and despite asking for the bill 3 times it never arrived. We sat and waited for ages. In the end we got up and left, assuming we would be charged (which we were).

Also, on more than one occasion we were double charged for drink/food so make sure you check your bill.

The hotel falls short on 5 stars purely because some of the food was a mixed bag in terms of quality, given the price. The same applies to the cocktails and drinks. It really depends on who's making it. We stayed at Domes of Elounda on a previous trip and the food/drinks were much better.

The beach area is ok. I'm glad we had the pool room as honestly, I didnt really love the beach. The sunbeds have lots of space on the actual beach itself, almost too much space. They could comfortably squeeze in more. If you go down before 11am, getting a bed wont be a problem. You will struggle after lunch. The other beds dotted around the pool area were, in some areas, a but cramped.

The beach area just needs a bit of sprucing up. It lacks charm. Its stoney (which is common in Elounda) but just looked a bit rubbish and uninviting. I guess that's a personal opinion. I like a good beach. Not fussed about pools.

Dont let that put you off though. We had a great time but we both agreed we probably wouldnt go back where as we would return to Domes of Elounda or Minos Beach.

We stayed at the Blue palace at the start of September for 11 nights. This place is truly heaven on earth! It s very clean and they have taken covid very seriously - cleaning non stop, staff wearing masks, etc

We stayed in a bungalow which was large and very comfortable.

I d like to say a special thank you to Maria in the restaurants and Athena in the bar for making us feel so welcome. In addition to this we didn t come across one member of staff we didn t like, they were all so amazing.

Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday.

Incredible views. The rooms all have a great view of the sea and island. The staff are all very helpful and knowledgeable. They have a few restaurants to choose from and there is a small town not far away. There is heli pad at the resort if you want to explore, or you can take the ferry from the main city 1 hour away.

Amazing views of the bay and Spinalonga island. Great food in the beach restaurant. The rooms have confy bed and large balcony. Some have private pools. 10-15 min walk to nearest village Plaka. The lift up from the beach is fairly slow, so walking can be a bit tiring.

Beautiful facility overlooking the scenic Bay of I forget the name and the island of Sprilonga (which means the long thorn). The staff was pretty good - there was a bit of a snafu with the valet bringing the car around but I do not feel that was typical. Other than that we had fantastic service. Our room was simply astonishing. The best room I've had the pleasure of staying in and that's saying a lot. We had an island suite with a private pool. They gave us a bottle of the local spirits, Raki. It's quite terrible stuff, kind of a cross between tequila and 150 proof vodka. But if you're into that, I'm sure you'll appreciate it. The breakfast was great. There's a private beach area with nice amenities such as umbrellas, lounge chairs, ping pong and an ice cream, gift shop/market. There's a restaurant on the beach as well. It's walking distance from the nearest town where you can catch a boat to Sprilonga for a day kicking about checking the ruins - of which the island is covered with them. The Blue Palace also has a ski boat and jet skis for rent. It's a great value as is the entire island of Crete. I hope I make it back.

Arrived yesterday after a long day travelling to a very friendly greeting. After the check in formalities taken to our room which has a wonderful view of the bay and Spinalonga. Our evening meal was very good as was our breakfast. Very relaxing but our accommodation is a little way from the main hotel facilities and we have been requesting the complimentary golf buggy lift to them. We will try walking there as the week progresses. Overall very satisfied so far.

The room was incredibly clean and has been kept as clean throughout my stay. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The amenities are good quality and overstocked.
The boxspring was firm, down pillows and down duvet. You could fit a family of five in the bed, it's that big. Good back support for me, was super nice.

Breakfast buffet is a feast, from freshly made waffles and omelets to local cuisine and the option of having champagne to go with it. Mimosas, anyone?
The lunch buffet is just as lush.
Side note, there are vegan options for those who would like that. Not a wide vqrvari, but it's there.

You definitely get what you pay for. If you don't care about the price and enjoy a luxurious place to stay, this is it.

This is a really great hotel for both couples and families. There are a few different pools so none are too busy and most are large too. A great private beach with lots of space and loungers so it never feels crowded. The service was excellent and we always felt very well looked after and everyone was very polite and intelligent. The room was comfortable and the private pool was of a good enough size and temperature.

Very much want to stay again!
