Paradise on earth. Top-notch service, amazing location and delicious food.

Had a great time at this resort. They had a lot of extras that most travelers don t even know about. We did a wine tasting with the sommelier of Thanos and a cooking lesson with the chef at blue door. We had a great time here, never left the resort.

This place is a wonderful place to be , i couldnt find anything that wasnt perfect.
The food in the Restaurants Finger licking exceptional ! Cant find the right words to describe the tasty meals i had there.
The workers are also very friendly and Professional from word go to the end .
Hotel location Great,the rooms clean and to the point ...for this experience i give 6+ Stars .

My rating takes into consideration the high price, 5-star rating, and the high expectations that I had coming from another similar hotel near Xania.

While the property is stunning (kudos to the development team), the quality of service/cleaning left us scratching our heads at times. It's not that they were rude or anything, but maybe just poorly trained... mind you all this happened over a 1-night stay.

- In retrospect, it all started out oddly. At the entrance gate, no stop signs, gate was open so I am driving in when the security guard suddenly jumps forward and yells STOP! at the last minute... I halted to a sudden stop and she just needed me to tell her I'm checking in. She clearly felt bad for startling us.
- It took longer than what the front desk told me originally at check-in to confirm regarding a late checkout, then they left a message on my TV while I was away which was not obvious at all. This place gets busy so no upgrade or late check-out with my gold status.
- I tried to make a reservation at one of the restaurants - first told nothing available, then told they will check and get right back to me, then I called back after not hearing anything, and finally got a 9:30 reservation. I went to the restaurant at 930 and there were many available seats and others arrived after us too. One server kept being corrected by others, even brought someone else's food to our table, and another broke some cups right next to us eating while cleaning tables.
- A guy came to our room and wanted to fix the door while we were there when we never reported an issue.
- Turndown service did not replace water bottles as we were told during check-in.
- On our last morning, a guy came into the room to check the mini bar while we were in the room (was not checkout time yet).
- Changing rooms at the spa were small and dirty too with dark, gross showers with slow drain in mine. Lacking in basic amenities which were only available upon request.
- While I was in the tiny changing room at the spa almost naked, a woman came in with a guest, without any warning, to nonchalantly show him around. Had I not quickly covered up when they came in, my privates would've been out
- Room had a couple ants and spider web in the bathroom
- Pool had green algae along the walls (watch out ladies with white swimsuits).
- Sunbeds were slow to get cleaned once guests left them leading to fewer availability.
- Our bags were supposed to be picked up and stored securely until we would be leaving in the afternoon.. when we went to the lobby few hours later to settle the bills, our bags were just left by the front door to the lobby, not kept in storage with others.

Also, it is VERY windy here. The area is known for its windmills. It's fortunate there's no sand on their beach or it'd go everywhere. Not as relaxing due to the wind at times. For some reason, noone thought to put cupholders or baskets at the sunbeds/tables yet so people were losing drinks, food, towels, sunglasses, etc. to gusts of wind all around us.

Again, I had high expectations which contributed to the 2 stars. Good food and plenty of amenities to enjoy in addition to the stunning property, just not the 5-star staff I've come to expect from such hotels.

Exactly how I hoped it would be! Room was clean and comfortable. Great view of the Sea and Spinalonga island. Room service was delicious every time. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Numerous amenities. The beach is only a few feet from the rooms. A few restaurants to choose from and few different bars...very easy to spend a few days just around the hotel and the neighboring areas of Elouda and Plaka.

Meant to be in the Balearics now , but COVID-19 kaiboshed that. Haven't been in Greece since Malia 1990, but BLUE PALACE SPA is amazing. Built into the hill , with 2 great pools and 4 restaurants, we're lucky enough to have a private pool villa. A diagonal lift takes you down to the beach and attentive friendly staff, and beachside buzzer service means a great day. WILL be back.

Great 5 star hotel complex with amazing views, nice rooms and friendly service. Be prepared for 1hr ride from Heraklion Airport and that there is not so much to see in close vecinity.

The Blue Palace is one of the most fantastic resorts that I've ever been to. Not only is the property beautiful but all the staff are friendly and truly care about their guests. Our stay here was nothing short of amazing.

Pampering is off the hook....and the breakfast.....INSANE!

Amazing location, never felt busy and everything is to a very high standard. Friendly and warm service. The sea is crystal clear and you can straight in off the floating peer!

Beautiful resort. Easily can come here and not leave the property for a week. Staff is incredibly kind and helpful. I hope to come back again!

A beautiful hotel with wonderful service. My family are all vegan and the specially prepared 5 course vegan meal at the hotel s Anthos restaurant last night was truly fabulous. If you re vegan, advise the hotel s F&B manager and he arranges a meeting with the head chef to plan your choices. A great service with care and pride in what they create for you

it would be wise that thalassotherapy could be free of charge for those who have already booked a massage session ! nice+comfortable sunbeds in adittions and quality towels too !

A much more elegant and spacious hotel than most hotels in the islands, should be visited / regarding to hotels.

Whilst the hotel appears luxurious, there were many things that let it down. The funicular whilst being a novelty to start with drove us mad. It was so slow with a lot of hanging about if u had just missed it. No alternative apart from loads of steps. At breakfast we had no side plates and nowhere to get clean cutlery. Our bed linen was only changed after 5 days which seemed was because they had our leaving date wrong. Having said that our bath towels were changed twice a day. We were given as many towels as we asked for on the beach. Drinks on the beach very expensive. Staff generally were very good and friendly with the odd one not so.

The music at the daily theme night is unfortunately very loud and the food at the buffet could be better for the category.
But all in all, very good.
