Summer time in MN on the deck. Of course the meat is good as always, the vegetarian s at our table had a good selection of choices.

I don't generally like cheesecake, but I drive over an hour to get cheesecake at Blue Moose

Blue Moose is one of the best restaurants you can ask for. When we come back into town this is one of our top places to go. Juicy Moosey is my favorite thing to eat here. The service is good and everything is brought out quickly

First off, very deep menu and I felt like anything I would have chosen would have been amazing. This is one of those spots I recommend at minimum a few times if you are in town. Great beer selection as well!

Super friendly server. Amazing and delicious food that didn't break the bank.

Everything is a little pricey, but great. I have really only tried burgers and the salads, but liked both.

I've recently had over cooked shrimp but normally everything is excellent and I highly recommend the shrimp alfredo and Asian wings!

The best burger I've had in some time. Fun atmosphere with lots of decoration but not cheesy. Service was great. Super friendly and always made sure we had what we needed and accommodated anything requested. The only thing I would change would be a few more menu options for without meat and a few more somewhat healthy options.

This is a great sandwich and soup place. They've got a wide variety of options and the food is delicious.

Visited the restaurant for the first time and was impressed. It was very busy, but the staff were kind, attentive and helpful. Good beer selection and the food was amazing. Everyone was happy with their dishes.

Love the Teas of Summer! Meal was great to! Will be visiting again soon.

I recommend the fish taco, spinach queso, PBEB (peanut butter egg bacon burger - so good!), or pretty much anything!

It's a really nice looking restaurant, and the staff are great, but I was not a fan of the food. The menu was nothing special, I had a hard time choosing something that sounded decent, and I'm not a picky eater. I ended up with the nachos, which were decent, but wasn't really much more than some chips under melted cheese with raw lettuce, black olives and onions stacked on top. On the plus side, their seasoned fries were amazing.

Wait staff barley acknowledged us. Manager checked on everyone BUT us. Guess I didn't look important enough to matter. Food was fine though

Class act place. Good food. Better service. Sold my grandmas 100 year old canoe to this place and I'm extremely impressed with the level of care they have given it. Oktoberfest was a blast, too bad they got rained out. Be there for it next year forsure!

Waitress was super helpful when asked about vegan items. She asked the kitchen what they could do and came back with items they would be able to do.

The beer selection is solid, that's about all that's saving this for me.
The food was a pretty bland affair with nothing that had me desiring to come back. Of course, that could've been an issue with coming with a large party, so attention was split among multiple orders.
Service was good; the waiters were attentive and quick. I'll likely be back, but only for the drinks, not the food.

Classic Gfk/EGfk go to. I'm in the area 4-6 times a year and this is always a stop. The Guinness burger is my go to, although they recently tried another beer burger and I wish they would put it on the menu full time

Excellent service and very good breaded walleye fish.

The burgers are amazing! The fries are battered crispy and delicious! If you like trying new craft beers, I'd highly recommend ordering a flight, then you can try four varieties at once! We loved it. Will definetly be back!!

Great atmosphere. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. One of our favorite places to eat.

Cool bar with a good variety of food. The meals were good, but the waiter got slightly confused over the sides. The baked potatoes were also underdone, which was comped off of the meal. Really enjoyed the mushroom steak special though

The Blue Moose has great food. They also have great staff. There's nothing more I can really say besides its really good.

P.S if you end up going, get the root beer.

Overall good experience. Service was great in this visit. Food is good as far as pub style menus go.

3/5 - "It's Ok"

-1 : There was a discrepancy between the menu price and the actual charged price for two out of the four things we ordered. (50% of our order) Is the menu out of date, or is this a common practice? Total difference, only $1.50---but the Blue Moose lost some trust points with this first time guest.

-1 : Don't come in with high expectations of your servers, especially during busy times. We were seated for about 40 minutes and weren't offered any refills during that time. The Servers here are also very territorial. I was surprised to see that servers from other tables didn't offer refills to us either. In general, they didn't seem to help each other out much.

+3 : Deserts were very good. There is a wide selection of flavors to choose from, and a very relaxed and fun environment to enjoy them in.

If you're new to the Grand Cities a must stop restaurant.

Great place to eat and host events. Good food, excellent service. A little on the expensive side but absolutely made up for the fact it's a great atmosphere and great service.

We had great service. Busy.. Good ambience. The menu is very smart cuz you can split your meal if you like. Pay for your own 2 sides. There is an extensive beer and alcohol menu. You should also be able to fit in dessert!

We had the Gorgonzola Steak and the New York Strip. Both were cooked to perfection!

In all my travels I'll have to say that this meal was the only one that had me stumped as to what I wanted to order. Being from the south I found that their personal touches on their food items made it very hard to order just one dish. Our waitress was fantastic with our questions & indecisiveness as well.. I actually ended up ordering the Cheese Curds & the Walleye Fingers as appetizers. both were very good. I'm not a fan of marinara but the marinara that came with the Cheese Curds was very good! And they make their own! The Walleye was good as well. Being from FL I have a taste for all kinds of fish. Flaky with a nice batter.. I then had the Chicken Meisner with a side of Mini Mac (chicken added).. both were very good. My companion had the Spicy Bourbon St Pasta.. which had pepperoni in it! Great addition to that dish. we wanted to try the Louisiana Poutine, the Cowboy Nachos & the Spicy Dragon Noodles but... we just couldn't eat any more. if I'm ever in the area again I will return. You guys try the other items and let me know what you think..
