Had a wonderful Brunch and watched some football today! Started with French Toast and moved into lunch with Quesadillas both wonderful. Waitress was very nice & attentative! Thanks!

Exceptional food, service, and prices. I was just passing through the area and I'm glad I found this place.

Yooooooo their brunch. So, so fantastic. I've only ever gotten the same thing (veggie frittata) because it's to die for, but I've tasted all my friends' dishes and they're all great.

High price point but our bartender made the experience. Cocktails were made correctly to order which is always a welcome relief. Bartender keep a good conversation and monitored the entire bar for empty glasses which did not happen. Glasses always full and conversation plentiful. Would definitely recommend.

Overall their food is great and the experience is warming. If I could leave 4.9 stars I would: I loved coming here for the poutine and while they have fried cheese curds on the menu, the poutine is gone

I went about 2 weeks ago. Myself and 2 others in my group were food poisoned. I and my friend had nachos. And the other had a turkey sandwich.

So good! We ordered takeout from here for the first time and everything was fantastic (especially the takeout cocktail!) We will definitely be going back!

The bar selection is fantastic and like no other place around. The food is still very good but it used to RIVAL the 5 star Philadelphia eateries until recently. I ordered a seafood appetizer and didn't see much seafood. I was disappointed in the quality of my steak. It hasn't been just once but consistently. I hope someone reads this and changes it because I like this place a lot but refuse to spend money to eat there if the food quality continues to decline.

Make a reservation! Otherwise you could wait for an hour on a Friday. Food is really good and the beer selection is good. Definitely should go!

I absolutely love this place. I ve been coming here for over 10 years and it never disappoints. The pulled pork sandwich is fantastic. The crab and spinach dip if my go to app. But most of all the love the Mussels in Beer. When I tell you it s to die for I mean it. I highly recommend this place.

This place has always been a local favorite of mine. You come here for the extensive beer list and then stay for the food. Also they usually have 1 or 2 delicious cocktails on the special board. Would be 5 out of 5 stars if they seasonally changed their menu a bit more...but hey if it's not broke why fix it?

The service is very disappointing. Can t tell you if the food is any good never had my order taken after sitting there for 45 minutes. The hostess was just a kid so I don t blame her. Watched the hostess tell two servers in a row we had been sitting but they one shrugged and then they both ignored us anyway. My wife wanted to flip because on top of that they served 3 of the tables that arrived after us. So in all 12 tables seated including us and at least 4 servers I could count. Go figure. Always more to the story but I won t bother with this place again for awhile.

Great selection of beer, drinks, and great food. The atmosphere is really nice and the service is great the bartender go above and beyond to ensure you are satisfied with service.

I had pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon with a wine sauce,it was amazing. The staff was very nice & friendly.

Waitress was nice,that being said the food was terrible. Not a place I would ever go back to . The French onion soup and huge pieces of onion and loads of garlic. The homemade mozzarella sticks were bland.the best thing we had was the celery and the wing sauce. The wings were just ok.

Great service, great atmosphere, and amazingly flavorful food is why I give the Blue Monkey Tavern five stars! Normally when I come to the Blue Monkey I always get their thick and juicy Blue Monkey Burger. Stopped in for lunch a couple months back and ordered the roast duck sandwich, which was scrum-diddly-umptous! The Blue Monkey Tavern is a must to visit!

The service was good but the food was a bit disappointing especially since I'd had a very good experience the first time I visited. It may have been my choice of burger (forget the name) though -- portabella mushrooms were involved. I would visit again based on my first experience here.

Never had a bad experience. Staff is great, tap list is extensive and if you love whisky this is your place. Food is top notch too.

If you are looking for a great beer selection this is the place for you but if you re not going for the alcohol and you are just going for the food - find somewhere else. The mozzarella sticks had absolutely no taste whatsoever. It would actually be hard to make food as tasteless as they were. My daughter s cheesesteak sandwich tasted disgusting. I don t know if they use weird cheeses or if it was just bad. I also tried two soups that were just OK and underseasoned. My daughter had flat iron steak and my husband had a dish from the brunch menu and they both liked theirs. But I would say if 50% of your meal was bad it s not worth going back to that restaurant. They need a new chef. They really did not care that their food was not very good. They did take the cheesesteak off our bill and did not charge us for it. They gave us some Andie s mints at the end with our bill that actually were wet and sticky and when I opened them there was moisture inside. My husband said they came out of the fridge or the freezer but it was still disgusting.

Good food, service and atmosphere. A bit pricey though. But that would not keep me from going back.

We've come here many times. They have a great beer list and great cocktails. We particularly love coming in for their specials and are recently sad to see the pork belly sandwich fall off the menu. Food was still delicious. I would strongly recommend trying any if their mussels! Also if you get anything with fries I recommend getting tatter totts, they are always worth it.

Excellent service, good food and a friendly atmosphere. The chicken francaise was tasty and served with a healthy portion of bulgar and green beans.

Great food and a nice beer list that changes regularly. Excellent choice for a quick, hood meal. They also host some outdoor events throughout the year, that can be worth your time.

Beyond upset is not the word! My husband called to make reservations at 12:50pm today and the owner answered and said we don t need them. We show up right around the time he was going to make the reservations for and they told us it was a 45-60 minute wait. I asked for the owner and was told he was in the kitchen and couldn t come out. We will not be coming back, ever! Very poor customer service!

Beer selection is impressive, with numerous microbrews and hard-to-find international treats. Delicious food, but it's always a gamble on whether or not the kitchen is closed if you show up late. Friendly staff, though the owner tends to frown on letting them converse at all. Dim lights, quiet atmosphere, not usually too crowded outside of normal meal hours. Just be careful getting home; public transportation is minimal and Merchantville police don't mess around.

The Blue Monkey is a great beer bar that serves very good food. They have at least 30 beers on tap. Always have a few interesting Belgians as well as a great selection of local, regional, and seasonal brews. Food : try the pork quesadillas appetizer, chicken Barcelona, or the bacon wrapped pork medallions.

Was skeptical of going here because of some of reviews but could not have been happier with food or service. Would highly recommend it to anyone and will be going again.

Great beer selection for craft beersnobs. Food is good too-not your typical craft beer bar fare. Highly recommend.

Always great food and beverages. We've been doing take out for the past year and every meal has been solid. Love the wings, muscles and stuffed portobello. Tried the chicken parm tonight for the first time and it was both gigantic and delicious. Friendly staff is the cherry on top.

This was my first visit to the Blue Monkey !! Everything is homemade, I m not sure what cheeses they use but I don t think it is mozzarella and, if it is it s not hot enough for me !!! The food was definitely fresh I guess every establishment does chicken quesadillas differently !!!! They do have great cocktails and staff !!! I will definitely go back to the Blue Monkey Tavern in Merchantville, NJ and do recommend that YOU give them a try too !!!!
