Under new ownership, this place is a sleek new ship. Questions answered, calls answered, design ideas laid out with an artist's experience, I had my (admittedly small) order back in days, and beautifully done. Owner handles every order herself with a directness and attention that makes you feel like you're getting exactly what you pay for, and it's worth every penny. Plenty of parking and tucked away so it's never crowded.
The bad experience I had is with the Blue Dot Picture Framing on Maui. He not only is the most expensive but does sloppy work.
Pepper, the new owner, has been amazing! The finished work turned out beautifully and she even offered a 20% discount because the project was for a school auction. I will definitely go back and would recommend BlueDot to anyone.

Terrible experience. Jay the owner ruined 8 pieces of art. There was nothing he could do to fix it, nor would he refund the money I paid back

Jay and his family do amazing work, I am so incredibly impressed. We had two custom pieces - one a newspaper clipping from 1926 and the second an oil painting from 1977 - framed by him and we are simply in awe of the results. He did a beautiful job at an incredibly reasonable price. I have been going to other framers in Marin for year and I won't be any more. Blue Dot understands art and is our new go-framer.
I've had top rate service at Blue Dot. Pepper, the owner, has been professional, flexible and is personally great to work with. It feels good, as a small business owner myself, to support another small local business.
