I was a customer of Bluedog for over 2 years. The service and response to questions has been OK. I switched from another national company. They asked me to write this review to lower my early termination fee. I did and then they continued to take money out of my business account. I put a STOP payment thru BofA to get them to stop withdrawing money. I could not get anyone at Bluedog to call me back or respond thru email. I thought it was over, but they put a collection against me personally. Not the business, but me personally. To get it removed I had to pay them even more than we agreed originally. After payment Bluedog sent a letter to the credit company to re move the derogatory account from my personal credit. So they did do that... I wish I had never been referred to them by the Treasure Coast Builders Association

PS. This is an amended review after the "Response from the Owner" - There were no chargebacks. I stopped running credit cards thru your company months before I closed the account. The problem was your company kept withdrawing monthly fees for 2 months after I closed the account. I had to ask Bank of America to put a Stop Payment on my checking accounts for your company because no one from your company would respond to multiple emails and phone calls. You just kept withdrawing monthly service fees.
As far as you investigating if I send you an email, I did send your company an email and you never responded. I believe you are just responding "to look like you are doing something" In my opinion and experience I believe at best you are mismanaged and again I wish you were never referred to me from the Treasure Coast Builders Association.

Just changed from my previous merchant provider to BLUEDOG. The conversion process was very easy and the team was extremely helpful. The one time I had to call for assistance, I spoke to a team member immediately and they got my issue resolved right away. No more sitting on hold for 30 minutes like I did with my previous provider!!!

It was more like getting advice from a trusted, knowledgeable brother than anyone compelling me to sign on the dotted line. However, with the e-commerce, auction site and integrated POS systems I realized that I would have to convert to company that can do it all and not pay 3 exchange fees. Let me tell you read the contract and watch out, they somehow slipped in a cancellation fee and it is very frustrating. Avoid, this company.

Worst service ever. I was sold on the fact that they re local. The promise was they re always here to help. But once the equipment was purchased that was the end of that. Didn t see the guy again. When my company closed they continued to draft $130 for months from my account despite the phone calls and emails asking that they stop. This continued for several months. Then when I asked for my money back all I got was excuses. Oh it s a third party. I don t care if you outsource but it s your responsibility. I am your customer not the third party s customer. That s your risk. Not mine. Worst service ever unless you enjoy excuses and being overcharged! I recommend you don t do business with a company that doesn t own up to mistakes.

It is always a pleasure to chat with BlueDog! How often do people say that about merchant services?! The pet welfare/rescue nonprofit I represent picked up our first ever merchant account a couple years ago at the suggestion of my day job and I couldn't be happier. Fair pricing and next-day deposits are great, but the service we've received is bar none. Establishing a new account was a breeze thanks to Dominic, and the tech side of things once we received our terminal was maybe even simpler. Repeat calls got our address and printed business details straightened out near-instantly. This year our thrift store moved and I've just set up a second terminal at our adoption center to process donations and adoption fees. Again, Dominic and James with tech support made the process painless!
To top it all off, BlueDog donates back to us a portion of our own processed profits through their give back program!

Everyone from our initial contact (Joshua Bryant) to our current contact (Jonathan Peck) have been of the utmost assistance, professional and downright pleasant to work with. Their rates are more than competitive and again the entire Blue Dog Team is just superb to work with and I highly recommend this company for your credit/debit card needs as to online payment processing for your business.

Blue Dogs people and support are great, I have nothing but good things to say about them, BUT their fees are very expensive. Coupled with their single transaction limits being lower than 99% of my sales; it made the service almost unusable. This made the 2yr contract a very hard pill to swallow. Despite all of this, I would've rated them 4 stars. The other two stars disappeared with their relationship and business with First American/Merimac Capital. I will never do business again with any company affiliated with Merimac in any way shape or form.

Worst customer service experience ever, hands down...

Worst customer service experience ever, hands down. They sold the company I work for on what was supposed to be wonderful customer service and low fees - what we experienced was anything but. After buying a brand new sales terminal from them, we began experiencing issues with it two months later to the tune of being completely unable to accept debit or credit cards. I called Ketila, our sales rep, to explain what was happening and to find a solution; Ketila thought the best way to handle our concerns (and loss in sales) was to hang up on me in the middle of me speaking. When I decided to go to a new sales rep for help, I was ignored over and over again until Brian finally returned my call after five days of no service and sales losses. Completely unacceptable, even from an employee's standpoint! Brian has been easy to deal with and is honestly the only employee at this company that I have dealt with who I think knows what he is doing at all.

I guess maybe I should have specified - I called the 800 number that is given on all marketing material that we were given. We have already cancelled our service and have no intentions of hoping they will give better service in the future if they can't give new merchants halfway decent service to start out with.
