Great staff, good tea! Shauna dies a fantastic pedicure Very relaxing!!

Just started going there but while prices are high ($30.00 for a shampoo and a hair cut for a man) you really do get quality work. You need an appointment but your stylist is there to greet you when you enter and take you to her chair. The place also offers many services beyond hair (pedicures, nails, massages etc).

No wonder this has a 5 star rating on Google! The atmosphere when you walk in is near perfect and everyone is so friendly (and not FAKE friendly either). Coffee, hot cocoa & occasional treats [cookies] in the lobby, a peaceful relaxation room in the back.

I'm a guy and I really enjoy coming to get my hair cut here. I struggle though because I hate paying $15 to cut my already short hair (it takes less than 5 minutes for my hair to be cut). When I'm done it's nearly a $20 hair cut after tip. However most places charge the same for a cut as well - if I'm going to be paying $15 for a cut, THIS is the ONLY place I'm going.

Wife loves getting her nails & hair done here. We take our now 3 year old to Tara and she just loves getting her hair washed & cut here. I'm shocked Buffalo has a place this nice - the owner MUST have lived/worked somewhere else to get this experience right here in the WNY area.

I've had my hair cut here several times and always been pleased. Bree always listens to what I want done and is so friendly. I had my nails done twice and the gel chipped within days both times so I recommend Blu Spa more for hair.

Everytime I walk in the door, I am welcomed by the wonderful staff! I get a gel manicure every couple of weeks from Amy. She is amazing and always help me pick a great color! I love the atmosphere and recommend Blu to everyone!

Had a spa day for my best friend before her wedding. There were no 10 of us. They did all our services separately so everyone was waiting around. not good planning on their part, had to wait over an hour for bride to come out of her message. Didn t have a plastic bag for us to put left over food in. Girls at the front counter were not very personable, I won t be coming here again. Nails are already chipping and it s only been 2 days. Just ok nothing special. And it s over priced for nails that are already chipping! Sorry I wanted to leave a good review

Disappointed... had a gel manicure on Thursday night and by Sunday several of my nails had chipped. I get gel manicures in a regular basis and I'm am almost always happy with them three weeks after. I will not go back to the salon. The ambience was nice and the technician was friendly, but unfortunately the manicure was not quality.

First time ever getting a professional massage. Melinda was great and explained everything. I left feeling so relaxed and revived!

I always love the experience her. From some a the front desk taking your coat to their spa staff .I love Amy. I only set her may be 3-4 times a year. Always so nice and engaging. And dies an excellent job. Great atmosphere, very comfortable.

I went to Emily today, I have never been happier w my color. I needed a cut today, called a few salons no answer. I called Blu Spa they said Emily is available and she is very good, that s an understatement she is a color expert and I am so glad I found her!! She fixed my incorrectly colored roots gave me perfectly distribute high lights and the best cut and blow out. Totally coming back to Emily at Blu Spa

Would NOT recommend. Both times I tried to make an appointment, I'd get a phone call about an hour before my scheduled appointment time asking me to come in earlier or later than my scheduled time (suggesting 12:30 instead of 1:30 or 4pm rather than 1pm). This was after getting a confirmation phone call for the original appointment time the day earlier. Salon is clean and pleasant enough but nothing special. Don't waste your time here, there are better, more reliable places in the area.

Donna is the Best! She works her magic with color and Always makes me feel and look beautiful!

The very best spa experience! I was so nervous about having my brows microbladed. I finally got up the nerve to go and I am so glad I did! Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Anna who did the procedure was professional, knowledgable and reassuring. The spa is so relaxing and beautiful I nearly fell asleep during the process lol! But most importantly I love the results! I will never go anyplace else! Thank you Blu!

Had a one hour deep tissue massage with Valencia. Her calm and relaxed demeanor was contagious and instantly put you at ease. She was professional and thorough. I am a runner and work all day on my feet, and my spine is also half metal - so I m not your average client - but she paid attention to all the right spots after asking me a few questions before we began. She was absolutely fantastic and I will only ever go to her moving forward!

I would highly recommend Blu Spa to anyone! I have been to high end spas in Vegas and compare Blu to them. You are pampered from the minute you walk in the door. Very high class salon and spa in this area! I love everything especially the massages and the facials, oh and the relaxation room! The best!

It has been a long time since my last visit.very pleased to get in and taken care of. Not like another establishment where your told sorry all booked up. Thank you blu-spa I'll be back.

Don't use their online booking - I called to confirm my appointment two days before and they claim they never received the reservation even though I had a confirmation email. Now I have to scramble to make a last minute appointment somewhere else.

So I guess I'm not sure how good their spa is and I probably won't ever find out.

Ultimate spa treat every time. I ve gotten massages, waxed, mani & pedis, but got a facial for the first time with Julia and it was truly the best spa experience I ve ever had! She was amazing. Love this place. So relaxing, cleaning, and professional.

I have always had a wonderful experience here for massage. Guidelines are COVID friendly while still maintaining the relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for the massage experience. Melinda gives the most amazing massage I've ever had! I leave there feeling so calm & refreshed.

Massage was great, nail services were very pricey for what they actually did .

Selena was absolutely amazing ! I got about 9" off and she was so patient with me as I was very indecisive! She was very kind as well. I will definitely be back to see her!

Bliss at Blu! Julia is an absolutely amazing and gifted facialist! She takes the time to really address your skin s needs. It s a very relaxing and rejuvenating experience from start to finish. Julia is professional and so attentive to details, my skin looks not only younger, but so refreshed- a total glow that lasts and lasts, very very pleased!

I really enjoy Blu Spa for a mani/pedi! They re reasonably priced and do a great job. All of the ladies in the nail salon are really friendly and outgoing.

Such nice people and a very nicely decorated salon. Julie is my stylist and she does a great job every time! They also offer drinks while you wait and while you are being taken care of.

First the good - if you need a massage - have Allisa do it. Awesome lady and great skills. If you need a facial - have Julia do it. Again - couldn't ask for better service. Now the bad - pedicures suck - they don't let your feet soak long enough and they don't buff your feet smooth. I've had multiple staff do pedicures and it's always the same. I expect that when I pay for a pedicure, my feet will be smooth and no, I don't have godzilla feet. Manicures - I've had a gel manicure twice. First time a woman did the service and did not paint down to the cuticles and the polish peeled off the next day. Second time, for my wedding, another staff member did it and again, did not paint down to the cuticles so it looked like the manicure was a week old and growing out. Before I stopped going there for pedicures, I brought a friend in for a "girls night" pedicure. They double booked so while I was receiving the pedicure, she was sitting there for 20 minutes with no one working on her. They didn't event tell her what happened until we asked what was up. There are certainly good staff on board and I think the spa used to be awesome but they now take their customers for granted and rush customers through their nail services. On a plus note, you can buy a glass of wine - maybe that's so you don't know that your nails weren't done right

Worst manicure I've ever received. I asked to have my nails evened out to my shortest nail. This wasn't done, I had to have three of them re-cut as they were significantly longer. One other ended up much shorter than the rest. My nails were chipped before I got home. And once I got out in the light I found gobbs of nail polish under my nail bed, and polish on my fingertips. I went home and immediately stripped the paint & re-did them myself. The manicurist also spent half the time figuring out what her next appointment was.

Everyone makes you feel comfortable and welcomed! Love coming here to pamper me and my niece.

Very relaxing environment, and kind staff. Facial service done by Julia with care, and expertise. Leaves you with an amazing feeling, worth the prices. Highly recommend.

Had Amy today for a pedicure and she was so sweet and fun. The pedicure was great and my husband loved his too. Nice atmosphere, quiet, reasonable prices.

I regularly get my hair cut here with Julie. Always a great cut and the facility is clean and everyone is friendly. Also have done mani/pedi here ...very pleased.

I have experienced multiple services at Blu and love all of them. Massage rooms are great and the therapists are very good. The Hair and Nail areas are clean and I like the decor. Everyone is always very nice. I highly recommend this spa for all of the services they provide!!

Great place for a bridal party! There is a room you can have drinks/snacks and hang out while you wait for your turn for a mani/pedi.

Every experience I have had at Blu Spa has been wonderful. I recently had a manicure done by Samana and I couldn t be happier. She took the time to provide some tips on how to get my nails healthier and was very pleasant overall. I have also had pedicures, facials, and massages at Blu and have never left disappointed. Always look forward to my next appt.

I love Blu Spa! I recommend them highly. I go there for massages, hair and nails. Would not go anywhere else. I love Julie for hair, Amy for nails and Alissa for massages. They are the best and I have been to many places. I actually followed Julie from Charlotte, NC to Buffalo, NY to do my hair.

As a FIRST timer getting a massage.. I didn't know what to expect.
It was quiet, tastefully decorated, dim lights..everything to make you feel relaxed...
The girl who gave me my massage was good. I don't have anyone else to compare her to so my expectations were limited. Upon finishing and later talking to my friends about how wonderful and relaxing their massages were.... I think I absolutely missed out on the relaxing part.... she talked the entire time. !!!... About her family, her life, her jobs her career.... Yes.. I talked back at some points but the quiet relaxing part was lost. I even know her political opinions which I feel should not be discussed in a place of business.
So...although the girl was very nice and the massage was pleasant... I did not leave relaxed at all.

My favorite place to get a great haircut. Clean, bright and it smells fantastic. mani/pedi are too notch as well

We went for a couples massage.... and omg it was FANTASTIC. I myself am very ticklish but felt so comfortable and relaxed the whole time. But myself and my husband's masseuse paid close attention to our troubled and tense areas. This is a new annual tradition for us!

My wife has been there multiple times for a massage and a hair cut. The last few appointments, she felt her time was getting cut short.

Now the rooms don t have any clocks, so this time, she brought her phone with her to check the time and she was shorted 10 minutes. When she told the front desk, they said that was normal policy because of recovery time. So pretty much, if you pay for 90 minutes, you only get 80? I checked to see if there was any mention of that under the service, and couldn t find anything to show that would be a normal policy.

Overall, my wife was happy with the service; she has been there multiple times. She s spent a lot of money at Blu and I figured that if I called them, they would make it right. So I did, and the manager was very helpful - she said she would give us a $25 credit, however my wife decided she would just rather have a refund. She didn t want a full refund, just for the 10 minutes she lost for being shorted because shes going to find somewhere else to go regularly. She told me the owner would call back.

Shortly after, the manager called back, and offered to refund $7.50 for the 10 minutes. I realized the math was off being that it was $135 for a 90 minute service, so I mentioned that to her. She then gave the phone to the owner, who then decided to completely blow up the entire situation. The owner decided to accuse my wife, a repeat customer, of lying about being shorted. I confronted about that and needless to say, she hung up on me.

What I don t understand is why someone would rather argue with us then make it right. She lost a repeat customer over $15 bucks.

I love going to Blu Spa!! Always the best service and best employees! Always feel warm and welcomed and excited to go back every time!

Superb Massage Therapist!!

I have been going to Bluspa for very long time for therapeutic massage therapy and Alisa is the best. Alisa has kept me pain free and works out random aches and pains.

They are always on time and are very attentive to the full treatment protocols. Including the post massage recovery and education portion of the treatment. These therapists are scheduled by time of appointment and that's what you pay for, so the 10 minutes at the end of my time learning about what was just done, how to recover and make it more effective is time and money well spent. Alisa is very knowledgeable, so LISTEN UP!

I've been to places all around this area this is by far best experience every time

I went in on the 14th of July for simple curls with half updo and make up and I had to have both fixed! Timing was of an issue when I made my appointment I was told would be back to back but instead I waited 30 minutes in between. I brought pictures of both the services I wanted both girls glanced at it and I never got what I was asking for!! I had to ask my make up girl to fix my make up 3 times and told her my eyelashes were not glued properly I was told they were. I got out barely on time I need to be out on I paid my bill got in my car and one of my eyelashes fell off so I had to go back in to fix it. Another girl had to help me and she asked if I wanted my make up fixed as she also commented on the bad job, but I was already out of time. By the time I came home which is literally a 6 minute drive both of my lashes came off on the corner of my eye and I had to wash my make up as I was not happy with it and do it in 15 minutes which put me behind on my time for my party! In the middle of this I got a nasty call that I had left without paying I informed them that I still had the receipt and be happy to provide the transaction number. I waited for 10 minutes before someone came back on the phone and said oh yeah we found it, but never even apologized!! Worst service ever!!!

I received a gift certificate from my sister-in-law to go to Blu spa it took me a long time to make an appointment not the spa fault but my own I am so glad that I went I love the place and I'm very happy with the nail tech named Shawna I'm looking forward to going back and becoming a regular

Just got back from a pedicure in over 20 years of getting them I never had anyone like vedela ( not sure on the spelling) she was great I usually am all over the place from being ticklish never even moved....most relaxing pedicure ever......bluspa kept this girl she is a definate assest

Kinda stingy on the quality of the product I got. I expected much much better for the very expensive price I was paying. I wouldn't go back again.

Blue spa is a fabulous place to go and unwind. From the decor, to the little items you can buy to the diffrent massages and facials to choose from, you can not go wrong.

I was extremely pleased with the massage and facial I received. Everyone was super professional, and extremely nice and accommodating. I will definitely be returning to try out some other services, and of course get the same ones again.

Bree is an amazing colorist and I highly recommend her! She's very easy going and has a great attention to detail. The other staff members were very friendly and pleasant! They're always so accommodating! Also, a biggie for me in hair salons is their cleanliness -- they also get 5 stars from me on that!!!

I was treating my daughter-in-laws to birthday pedicures, so it was a special outing for us. We were scheduled at the same time and next to each other, which was nice. Technicians were talkative, we all enjoyed the experience. At one point, we were asked if we'd like something to drink, one of choices was mimosa's which we each had. At check out, I was surprised to have been charged for the mimosas. I wish that had been made clear. I also wonder if a spa can charge for alcoholic drinks?

Nice place, had Laura cut my hair she did a very good job. Recommended a good conditioner.

Blu Spa is a wonderful salon to relax, unwind and pamper yourself. Excellent customer service. Spotlessly clean. Outstanding service. Jessica gives an outstanding facial. My skin has improved dramatically since I ve been under her care and following her advice.

Great experience. The robes were very comfortable. They allowed you to choose focused area (back and neck) or full body. Have different time slots available. Great ambiance and clean comfortable rooms. Excellent staff - I would definitely return, although I might suggest labeling the used flip flops and the new ones - I helped a confused person.

Worst manicure I've ever had. Paid $40 to have nail polish smeared all over my cuticles and skin. Totally unimpressed. I could have done a better job myself for free.

I have had a pedicure done and I have had my eyebrows waxed. Both times I was there, it was really nice. Very relaxing and pleasant. Looking forward to when I can get back there again!

I have been a customer of Blu since they opened. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel and look your absolute best. I look forward to every appointment and seeing all of my friends.

I'm a pale redhead that has done everything to get that golden bronze tan. Blue Spa nailed, no orange redhead here... They have WONDERFUL SPRAY TAN TECHS... Only problem is they cancel ALL THE TIME!! I've scheduled four appointments here over the past 4 years. All for weddings, the first was for my sisters and that's when I fell in love. The second for mine and the past two weddings my sisters last September (cancelled) and my other sisters this Friday! I made the appointment in May to make sure I had a spot... They called me 5 hours before my appointment. The manger was condescending "what do you want me to do, have her throw up all over you?!" Really?! Take your money else where! I've referred a half dozen people to them and they cancelled on someone last month. They're great... If they can stay healthy enough.

I have always enjoyed my spa services at Blu Spa & Salon. Can't wait to go again. The staff is so friendly!

Love my Blu. I only go once every couple months for an hour massage. Never have been disappointed. Although, my favorite are David and Valencia for deep tissue massages. And if you haven't had a facial here... uh meh gawd... amazing.
