I had the best dinner experience I have had in years at your restaurant from the moment we walked in and greeted with such warmth I have only experienced in Israel and Mexico!

Your restaurant floor manager who greeted us was probably born into hospitality as he is truly a gem and pleasure to be around. Along with our waitress who actually just started with your team was super sweet and so attentive.

My boyfriend who was celebrating his 30th has eaten steak at every major steakhouse in Canada as well as in Europe and has never had a better steak than that night. From the cook to quality of meat itself was UNREAL. Please give kudos to the chef as he/she is really behind the magic that goes into each dish.

Overall everything was perfect and the patio was an amazing ambiance and temperature was also perfect even with a cool breeze as they have heaters, It was my first experience and definitely far from my last I will be seeing you again Blu! Cheers to many more years!!!

We hosted a dinner event for 100+ entrepreneurs in Toronto. Everyone had a fantastic experience. We host these dinners in different cities and this was by far one of the best. Everything from the food to ambience to service was impeccable. Alfredo and team went above and beyond. We will be back.

Great Italian restaurant just across the street from the Four Seasons Hotel. Food was fantastic and you are well looked after if you have any dietary concerns. The chicken (pictured below) is stuffed with spinach and apples and then initially cooked in a sous vide. The chicken comes out extremely moist and flavourful.

The other dish is a simple rigatoni with meat sauce (veal and beef). Probably one of the more flavourful entrees and a good portion size.

The service was beyond poor.
The food was nothing special.
The decor was ok.
Would never go back.

It s ranked the top romantic restaurant of 2017, it s really nice atmosphere for dating. Service is a really attentive. We enjoyed the appetizers rather than main courses.

If you come for the Food or Ambience you will be blown out of the water. Mix that with the customer service and you will never want to eat anywhere else again. I cannot thank Blu enough for helping me setup my proposal and putting a huge More

Amazing atmosphere paired with attentive and friendly staff. The pear salad was bursting with flavour and the cheese complimented the fruit perfectly. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the bologna sauce was rich and extremely generous.

A really great place for good food and service. Their heated patio was quite lovely.

Blu was my wedding venue this past week (80 person wedding) and I am blown away with how lovely and magnificent this venue and food is! Their staff is also so friendly and accommodating. For food, I recommend the beet burrata salad, beet risotto, rigatoni and cannot leave without dessert, especially the Zeppoles. Highly recommend Blu for celebrations and even a nice weekend date or get together. What a wonderful restaurant!

Delicious food. Amazing cocktails and great service. Great for date night or for a family dinner. Came here on a Friday night and enjoyed some live music over dinner. Would definitely come back!

The best place to have super delicious Italian food.

Overall, the food was pretty good. Ordered the lamb, it was very tender & juicy. However, the stuffed pasta was undercooked and the filling was forgettable (I literally can't remember what it was stuffed with).

Staff was attentive but extremely pushy and was NOT subtle in their attempt to jack up the bill as much as possible. For example, instead of bringing us bread when bread was due, tried to convince us to get other appetizers even though we had not ordered any.

I had an excellent dinning experience here! The food was great, and their service was fantastic! They also have a great wine selection.

Do not come here. Came here for a birthday celebration, spent tons of money on drinks and food, and the manager still insisted on charging us 5 dollars per person for sharing a birthday cake, which ended up costing more than the cake. Inhumane

Came here to celebrate my 10 year anniversary with my wife and we arrived 30 minutes before the restaurant was even open. They allowed us in at that point, sat us down and took care of us. Service was beyond excellent; Heidi our sever was top notch and made out night memorable. Food is a bit pricey but that's something you should already be ok with prior to coming to the restaurant. Food was great, atmosphere excellent, ambience was wonderful. At the end of it all, our server brought us a desert with a message written on our plate - HAPPY ANNIVERSARY - BLU. It was a night to remember. Can't guarantee all services will be this great but I highly recommend this restaurant.

I came in for dinner yesterday with a friend and I was quite impressed with the overall food quality and taste.



In addition to the wonderful food, the service was exceptional; the staff were very friendly and attentive, making the overall experience all-round enjoyable. Altogether, the food and service definitely exceeded my expectations and I would recommend this restaurant to those looking for an excellent fine-dining experience and authentic Italian food!

The Rigatoni Bolognese was very boring. The meat sauce needed more seasoning and cheese. I also found a bone in the meal. Not sure where that came from and neither did the waiter. The waiter did comp us for that meal so that was a appreciated.

The seating. Decor. Ambiance is very nice. But I don't think I'll be going back. Definitely expected better from this place, especially charging a premium for being on Yorkville.

Had dinner here for my birthday and it was the perfect experience. The food is exquisite and our server was wonderful. The atmosphere was very romantic, with live piano and singing. It's not too loud where you need to yell to speak, and the restaurant clearly pays attention to detail. When I went to use the restroom, my server refolded my napkin into a swan (WOW). He also wiped away crumbs on the table in between dishes. Highly recommend this place for any occasion!

Very nice food (had grilled calamari appetizer and ahi tuna main ... tuna was awesome). Great, friendly staff. Cool, buzzy atmosphere appropriate for small groups or dates. Wasn't here when there was live music, but I imagine that's even better. Seemed a tad pricey given small portion size (generous accompaniments but meat/fish portions are small).

Stomach was hurting after the food but staff was efficient and nice and the food tasted delicious.

Delicious food! Super educated attendant. Dinner for 2 people with: 1 starter, 2 main courses and 1 dessert stayed at approximately $ 200.

Honestly, for a restaurant at such price you expect more than just average. The portion was small and wasn't even that good. I tired the fettuccine lobster and my friend got the lamb. Mine wasn't that good and tasted plain. i would say if you are paying for the ambience it definitely worths but don't expect too much on the food. Our waiter seems to be busy when they weren't even that packed...

Nice restaurant overall with a cozy atmosphere. Attentive service. Food was good but didn't blow me away, especially considering the price. Would recommend trying this place out but it probably won't become part of my rotation.

Food was good, not excellent. I'm giving this place a 3 star, because our waiter was quite rude to me. For a restaurant like that, you would expect staff to have better manners with diverse guests. However, the singer is one of a million. Amazing singer. Amazing, amazing, amazing. I would go back, but would not want to sit in that waiter's area.

They serve big dishes and for reasonable rates. super nice owner. Never disappointing.

The service is good, but the food is not. The steak I ordered (medium) was burned, and you can taste it. The octopus was a very small portion, and not really seared. The endive salad does not have endive in it. They have a good wine list and courteous staff. But, that's not enough. They need a qualified chef. And, the music entertainer should not quit his day job.

This is a snobbish, pretentious, over hyped and overpriced place. Dinner for two will take $200-$300 from your pocket, and you will get fair food and mediocre service.

If you are snob, go to Blu, otherwise look elsewhere..

I was at the restaurant for a work function. Outstanding service and exceptional food.

My girlfriend and I went here for Valentine's day dinner and were not disappointed. As soon as we approached the front door, we were treated like distinguished guests. Our server skipped past all the sales pitch and just gave us the information we needed about the menu and actually left us to decide.

I was told I got the last scallop and pork belly dish of the night. Then the manager came over and told me they had run out of scallops so they said they could do a double portion of pork belly, which was okay with me. He also covered our drinks as compensation. My dish did end up having the scallops, which were amazing. Everything was perfectly seasoned and nothing was overly heavy. The portions, other than the main, were on the small side which is to be expected with fine dining. However, each plate was satisfying despite the size.

Although our bill was not cheap, it was fair in my opinion. The entire experience was so professional and the atmosphere was never broken. The food and the service was top-notch. Even when knocking a knife on the floor, there was someone picking it up and a new one on the table within seconds.

The cherry on top was the single, white, wrapped long-stem rose and what appeared to be tenderloin cut in the shape of a heart. If we're ever in Toronto again, Blu Ristorante will be on our list for sure.

Food is decent, but falls much short of similarly priced establishments. My fish was cooked well, but everything it came with was bland and simply did not complement the fish nor go well together. My panna cotta was also too heavy and missed the lightness and wobble I'm used to. Their redeeming points were the fresh bread they served in the beginning and the starter, both of which were quite good. Overall, meh.

Made reservations to come here on Open Table for Saturday July 11, 2020 at 6pm. The person I was taking to dinner specifically requested that I take her here. It was a first date. Open Table texted me confirming my attendance, I replied and YES we would be attending.

Just after 5pm, (less than an hour before our reservation) I received a call from the restaurant informing me that they would be cancelling our reservation due to the weather. He mentioned they don t have covers for their patio. I asked why didn t they call earlier and cancel as now it would be almost impossible for me to get a reservation somewhere else last minute and during the Pandemic where only patios are open for dine in. He said it was a last minute decision.

The issue I have is that they must of had management and servers and cooks coming in hours before they open to prep the food/restaurant. They could have easily called much earlier. Long story short, it completely ruined the night & the relationship. I m sure the food must be pretty good because the professionalism in how they treat guests is horrendous! Much better options in Toronto...

Went for a pre fixed dinner at Blu for the first time with a group of 7. The ambience and decor is delightful and intimate accompanied by a live guitarist. The food is really well put together, the service was amazing and accommodating!

Food was ok, certainly not worth the cost. Atmosphere is very nice but the 2* was for the horrible service received. Waiter ignored us all night and it took us twice as long as those around us to turn over our table. We didn't plan on spending nearly 3 hours there most of that spent waiting for our waiter or trying to get his attention. Will not be returning. Would not recommend.

On the Expensive side, but food is great and service impeccable.

A MUST. Every item we tried was amazing. The filet minion, the tuna, the arugula salad with dates, apples and goat cheese, the calamari, and so on. Just amazing. Also the gnocchi. Cant forget that. We were looking for a place to to celebrate a special date and we went to two other Yorkville restaurants who were empty but said they could not accommodate us without a reservation. Then we remembered that Blu was across the street from us and called them. They welcomed us even though they were booked. They gave us a great table and made us feel welcomed. Michael the waiter was just awesome. He was pleasant and attentive when needed. Not overwhelming. Being the first time there we could not believe how great the food was. We really felt we lucked out because we know what the food was like at the other two restaurants that couldn't accommodate us. Blu was so much more superior and in the same price range, Alfredo the owner came by to introduce himself and genuinely wanted us to have a positive experience. We sat near the piano player, Sarah who was a pro. The volume was just right and her selection of music spot on for the ambiance of the restaurant. At the end of our meal we were surprised by the desert (Tiramisu like your mom use to make. Fresh, and delicious)t and prosecco they had for us to help us celebrate the special day. Such a warm and caring gesture that totally surprised us as we did not remember mentioning the occasion. If you live in Toronto or are visiting and you want a truly great gastronomic experience coupled with an old fashioned customer care experience you have to try Blu. We will be back for sure.

My bf took me to this place for my bday and we absolutely loved it. Not only is the food amazing and great quality, but the portions are on point. This is definitely not one of those pricey places that you barely see anything on your plate. I completely recommend this place.

Giorgos restaurant and the owner is super friendly. We delivered a baptism cake from Patricia's cake Creations Cafe and our customer was raving about their food

I came in tonight to celebrate my mother's birthday and every single member of the team went above and beyond to make the evening special! Your front of house staff moved mountains to make sure we got a perfect table outdoors and your servers were incredible. Every single dish was perfection (with particular emphasis on the beet risotto and the watermelon salad - divine!). I've dined on your patio a number of times over the past few months and have never been disappointed. In my opinion, Blu has the best menu in Yorkville right now, hands down.

A wonderful restaurant with great atmosphere and live music!

I went yesterday for dinner with my friend and that was beautiful patio and I had rack of lamb perfectly Cook medium rare and the lamb sauce was excellent , service was very good and my friend had seafood linguine and it's good too. Will come back again.

Celebrated my husbands surprise 30th birthday here. Alfredo and Indira were so accommodating. They have private rooms so I reserved one for my group and designed my own set menu for the evening. All my guest were so amazed at the quality of food, service and ambiance we recieved that night. I would highly recommend for any occasion!!

The only thing better then the food was the service. Was very impressed and felt "at home" had a great experience. Shout out to the fantastic staff there
