EXTREMELY boujie. Valet parking & roses. Food portions were pinch. My valentine was super cute tho Live music. Good vibes. Amazing service. Lava cake gave me high blood sugar. To simplify. It slapped. 10/10.

Fantastic decor and atmosphere! I ordered the best chicken I've ever had in my life at this location. The service was fantastic and the place has a great luxurious look and feel to it (makes sense considering it's in Yorkville). Great for special occasions / fancy dinners.

Good is great if a bit overpriced Ok a LOT overpriced especially the salads as they are I usually. Service is excellent as is the location.
The menu is VERY LIMITED but the dishes are GREAT.
Good luck finding parking and be prepared to walk a bit.

I have to start by saying I have only been here once as part of winterlicious which is the greatest scam perpetrated in Torontonians... Ok maybe an exaggeration. The food was fairly good but the portion sizes are quite small (even those ordering off the menu that I saw) and it is expensive. I think for the price there are better places that can be found.

I was here for a friend's birthday and taking advantage of their Winterlicious promo that's going on right now. I was quite disappointed in the overall experience - this includes food, service, and ambiance. The food was definitely sub-par for the price to be honest, in terms of taste and quality; I ordered the smoked salmon pate, spinach mushroom cannelloni, and tiramisu. The service was alright but I did feel like we were being rushed out towards the end of our meal... which can be a turn off for some. There wasn't much of an ambiance either.

I won't be returning and I won't be recommending people to this restaurant for sure.

Hmmm over priced. You can find the same quality of food if not better if you head a little north for half price. Yonge and eglinton or yonge and lawrence. I guess its the location you pay for

Great dinning experience! Loved the atmosphere, recommend for an important romantic date, especially on a weeknight as there is live music on weekends (assuming that it gets quite lively and not so great for a romantic evening). Went for an anniversary celebration and received a delicious pastry on the house, which was a great surprise. The Ahi Tuna was platted beautifully and had wonderful flavor although there wasn t a lot of it to enjoy. This was because it was a high grade tuna, which is exactly what one should expect at a fine dining establishment. The Aglio E Olio had some slightly overcooked calamari (although admittedly very difficult to cook), and was very tasty (perfect amount of spice). The Veal Tenderloin was cooked to perfection and had a pleasant mix of unique flavors. Everything was platted with a lot of care and attention which really added to our experience. Not once throughout the night were our water glasses empty or was there any empty or used dishes for more than a minute. Impeccable service! Our main server was very pleasant and rehearsed. Definitely loved the tip pool for the entire restaurant (FOH and BOH), it really gave everyone a responsibility for us receiving great service and that really showed in the end! Would definitely return, might not be as great of an experience the second time but they will definitely put in their best effort to make it one!

I celebrated my two year anniversary here. I ordered the beef carpaccio, braise octopus, beef tenderloin and aglio eolio linguine. I have to say, all the dishes taste very well. The beef carpaccio had a lot of flavour, and it was not too salty. The Braised octopus was very tender and the tasteful. I highly recommend these two dish as they are very well prepared.
The beef tenderloin with caramelized honey glazed vegatables. It was very unique. The aglio e olio linguine was good and it had alot of ingredients (squid, octopus, scallop, clams, shrimps)

The atmosphere was very calm and warm. It was very relax, making it a good place for a date.
Our service Ben was very attentive, he kept checking on us to make sure everything was good. He also gave us some recommendations because it was our visit.

The bill was 100$ per person, but i felt it was worht it as we were both full, and the food tasted good.

I really enjoyed this restuarant, and would recommend it to others

Came to Blu for an early dinner and overall had a great time. Initially there was confusion finding the location (Google maps had pinned their other location on Yorkville). Otherwise the service was fairly quick and professional. Seated on the patio the weather was perfect (very well set up) and the food was on par with the price. Would recommend!

The decor and service is pretty good but I wished the food would have been better. The carpaccio was delicious. Very well prepared and seasoned. The saltimbocca was overcooked making the veal quite chewy. The squash puree and brussel sprouts were hardly seasoned. The seafood pasta was also overcooked. The seafood was rubbery and the pasta was soft. For the prices they charge the food should be much better than this.

We really enjoyed our dinner here from ambience, cuisine, to service. Not sure what his name is but the staff from Mexico really took dining experience up a notch with his passion and detailed/outstanding service. wish every restaurant in the city had the same type of service we experienced that night! Thank you Blu!

Nice little nook hidden away in downtown Toronto. Nice vibe and ambiance. Relatively quick, polite service. Not a huge menu but a good section of items. The house focaccia was very very good. Good presentation of tasty food and prices were on the higher end. One vegan main item. Beware, the zucchini pasta is actually not pasta as I found out lmao. Didn't have wine so can't comment. Overall a good Italian option in a higher end setting.

Went for dinner with my boyfriend on Boxing Day. Everything was wonderful from the service to the food. Probably could have had 3 sides of the gnocchi alone it was perfect. We started with beet and burrata salad then I had the stuffed chicken and he had the steak. Finished with tiramisu. Every bite from start to finish was delicious. Thank you for a special meal.

I work close by and decided to try out two dishes from the Take Out Menu- the porchetta, roasted pork belly along with the brie cheese stuffed chicken breast. Both were exquisite and delicious and the prices so reasonable. My taste buds have never been happier.

Went here for Winterlicious. Beef carpaccio, steak, and tira misu were amazing, as well as their house bread. We really enjoyed the whole meal.

Location: 5/5
Close to Bloor and Yonge station.

Price: 3/5
Pricy but can be expected from the neighbourhood. Winterlicious is then definitely a great option. Still expensive but good to experience, as the food is great.

Atmosphere: 5/5
Great for an intimate or cozy dinner date or close friends. Very sophisticated and lovely place.

I booked my 35th birthday party with 22 of my family and friends to celebrate with me. Some came from out of town. When we got there on time we stood waiting for our table almost 1 hour. Then we waited another 30 minutes to half of an hour to eat. Also i agreed upon a set menu for my guest weeks before with Alfredo which i have all the text messages. At the end of the night the entire table 22 of us was overcharge on our bills which Alfredo admitted that his staff is the one overcharge us. I have it all in text messages. He made a promise to refund the money back and when i asked about it after they said to me twice it was refund. His comment was that i was harrassing him and if we are such in need for money. I have it all in text which i will post on social media and contacting some people due to his degrading comment and discrimination. He does not know mines or anyone elses status in life when they was in the wrong to make such a comment. Will be posting this on the news as well. We will never step foot back into this restaurant. And this racist degrading comment will be known to the world.

We just had a group dinner for 11 people in their private room. It was our first time dining at Blu except for one member and it certainly won t be our last. We started with crab cakes, zucchini fritters and mushroom crostini, followed by the set menu. Impeccable service, perfect food and cozy atmosphere. What a gem of a restaurant. The set menu was diverse enough to satisfy all and received a thumbs up from the vegetarian of our group. Really outstanding.

I'm not sure if it was because we ordered from a set menu but the striploin I ordered rare was dry, chewy, and not properly seasoned. The beef carpaccio was like roast beef deli meat.

Last Thursday was my second time to visit "Blu". The first time I had Christmas dinner there was 10+ years ago and it was disappointing. Since it was under new management( that's what we were told) and close to our office we gave it a chance and went there (party of 21) for a Christmas dinner again. To give an accurate review I don't even know where to start. Our reservation was for 6:30 pm and we all got there within 10 min. We had 1(one!!!) server for the whole table!!!!! The dinner took forever!!! He took our drinks order and kept forgetting if we ordered anything or what we ordered . One of my friend's received her drink after 1 hour and 45 min (almost 2 hours). Seriously!!!!! Then came the bread and oil and when we asked when will the starters arrive, we were asked "ARE YOU IN A RUSH?" I had never been asked that in my life in a restaurant?!?!?! The dinner was served after 8:15 pm ( we finished work at 5:00 pm and were starving). Dinner was less then mediocre. I had a so called "steak" that had no flavour, was supposed to be medium rare but it was a very low quality piece of beef and it was tough. the whole meal was less then enjoyable. I would never go to this restaurant again even if someone payed me to go there. If I had to describe this restaurant, I would just say: awkward place, terrible food with no service whatsoever.

Server was really nice and funny. Food was really good as well! Food felt really modern. Really liked the complimentary bread they served. Ordered a fish dish and it was really fresh and nicely cooked. Tasted very clean.

Blu is one of the best restaraunts that Ive ever been to. The food was absolutely incredible and the wine list is massive, catering to any tastes. And it wasnt just the food. The service was just as amazing. Our server Brian and the bartender Tanya were both very accomodating, and super fun. They were what really took our experience from fantastic to phenominal. If you're celebrating a birthday, an anniversary, or maybe both, theres nowhere in the city better than this. Everyone should treat themselves to Blu at least once.

My girlfriend and I went to Blu for my birthday and from start to finish was incredible. The ambiance with the live music on a Friday as well as the service was great.

The food was fantastic and great presentations. Highly recommend the zucchini pasta and tiramisu.

We were a group of 30+ people.
Had a pre set menu .
Do not order beer there , I ordered two beers and both were warm.
Ordered the Calamary for appetizers and it was very chewy , 3 people on the same table agreed .
For entre I ordered the beef sirloin and asked for it to be medium rare but I received it medium which wasn't an issue for me but it was also chewy.
Three other people on the same table had the same issue , one was offered to swap it but he chose to keep it and was given a free drink , one returned it and asked for it to be medium rare just how he asked and the third chose to swap it with fish and said that the fish was alright.
Those who ordered risotto were not complaining and liked the food.
Dessert was amazing.

Had dinner in their outdoor patio in Nov 2020. The patio is well ventilated and heated. Customer service was excellent. Food was outstanding. We ordered - ahi tuna and beef for appetizers, lamb and pumpkin ravioli for main, and tiramisu for dessert. Prices are high reflecting similar restaurants in Yorkdale.

Delicious, fresh Italian. Priced a little on the high end, but expected considering its Yorkville location and the quality of the food. Good place to go for a special dinner or a date night.

Our dinner at Blu Ristorante was a really good one. We have never been to this place before and decided to have dinner there out of the blue (pun intended) as we were close by and they had a Winterlicious menu. The place is really nice and we actually felt a bit underdressed as we hadn't planned going there.

Besides that, the food was amazing, it wasn't on the cheaper side, but definitely worth every cent: everything we ordered was better than expected with a special mention to the truffled beef carpaccio - it was spectacular. Also their tiramisu was lovely, but the cannoli was outstanding (so don't overlook it).

We definitely recommend it if you're looking for good food and excellent service.

Went there a few weeks ago to celebrate a birthday, Michael was incredible and very accommodating, will 100% return, staff is incredible but Michael was by far the best! I asked him for a bottle of champagne and received a glass, but it was 100% my fault, he was not to blame at all for the instance, he definitely helped make a special birthday even better!

Such great food. Everything I order here is always amazing, even for things I am not fond of and the table orders it, it's still something I try and love! It's quite pricey. I usually go during Winterlicious/Summerlicious and the quality is still all the same. Highly recommend!

This was supposed to be date night. My wife had the shrimp linguini and it came with one shrimp and some baby clams. We also ordered the lobster salad and was shocked how small the portion was for the price I paid. I had the halibut and the portion was small for the price I paid. The food was tasty but not worth the price for the portion they serve. However the musician was talented.
