The place was fine. We had booked a table outside since this is a popular place and the inside can get loud. When we arrived we were met with a queue. People waiting regardless of reservation vs walk in. OK we had arrived 5min early. Let's let them know we're here and wait until we get a table.

Surprisingly, after 20min of waiting outside (by the way, poorly designed wait area since it is right where you enter and exit the restaurant so it makes waiting a constant dribbling exercise) the maitre tells us our table is ready and leads us inside.

Since we had specifically called to get a table outside, we rejected the table and asked for one outside. Another 15min go by and we're offered..... A couch and a coffee table in the corner for a party of 8.

At this point we were ready to walk out so I guess our faces must've shown it. One proactive waitress decided to take it upon herself to get us a solution. She joined a few empty tables and voila! We had a table outside.

Food was good and they did gift us desert for free (thank you) for the inconvenience at the arrival. Still, doesn't make the hassle worth it and the food is good Greek food, nothing spectacular. I probably won't be back after this experience.

Good ole Blu Kouzina - very enjoyable as always but the food standard has come down a bit. Less the super tasty Greek away from Greece. Wine list happily still good value. Service attentive

Blu Kouzina has loads of tasty vegetarian options! We loved every single dish we ordered :). So fresh and tasty! The staff is super friendly and the food came pretty soon. it was my husband's birthday and they were so sweet to give us an orange cake on the house! We will definitely go back to Blu Kouzina's.

My favorite place for healthy Mediterranean food. Gets awfully busy for weekend brunches , be sure to make adequate reservations. My top dish-eggplant dip, the salads with pitas. Kalamaki souvlaki , chicken skewers and lamb chops. Cant go wrong with these dishes . Drinks are pricey and honestly not that great. Rest everything is top notch .. go try it NOW..

Nice and decent Greek type of food. The bread with 3 different spreads incl the Greek salad was good. Did most isbthe grills except the chicken which was grilled then simmered. Prawn grill was v nice. The lamb was ok but found the beef a bit dry.. the Greek coffee was quite an experience like Turkish heavy and thick. With the sediments at the bottom. Desserts generally sweet and like the semolina fried roll..enjoy..

Great vibe whether sitting at the front porch, inside or at the back of the restaurant; like the deco; food was awesome! Good choice for both dates and business dinner!! Will definitely visit again

Great ambience and amazing Greek food!

Despite paying high prices, service is haphazard and disorganized possibly due to it being super busy... hence no perfect 5! They forgot a few orders and never came back on some requests we had throughout the evening.

Order the dips, octopus, grillled halloumi, moussaka, falafel. Skip the calamari as it s over cooked and rubbery... hence one star short of perfection!

Still recommended and prior reservations needed.

Very good food. Looooove the hummus and grilled pita. Another favorite is the macaroni! Fantastic calamari. And grilled chicken. I'm not a salad person but I even like their kale salad.
Never had a single dish that disappointed in any of my dining experiences here.

One of the best Mediterranean restaurants in Singapore. Friendly staff and tasty food.
Server Maya is excellent and very thoughtful.

We ordered the kebab platters, pita bread, 3 dips eggplant, hummus and harissa all good, and watermelon +feta salad. Liked everything.

Booked table for 8pm, stood outside in a line until 8:10, then finally had drinks order taken at 8:30.
Food quality was absolutely not consistent with the pricing. If you're expecting this to be like a favourite Greek holiday restaurant, you may be disappointed.
The only thing at our table which was really nice was the moussaka.

Absolutely amazing. Ambience is great, loads of seats and space so its not too cluttered. While it is full house on a sat evening, place is well-staffed and service is relatively quick. The service staff for our table was really friendly and helpful, advising us of the portions and recommended great dishes.

Food itself was good. Pita was done well, goes really well with the tzatziki. The grilled cheese with fig jam was delightful, and surprisingly goes well with the cauliflower salad. Meat platter was stunning, definitely the best dish we had. Seasoned perfectly, cooked to the right doneness. The lamb chops and beef balls were amazing. We may have over-ordered (yes, all that for 2 pax!!!!) But it was so good we finished it all.

Overall, great place and will def be back for the other dishes!

Nice ambience. Love the food and the super friendly staff Maya who made good recommendation on the food choice for 1st timer like us with no food waste left over and because we were there for a birthday celebration they added in their dessert as part of the platter to compliment our cake as gesture with two shots added. Would definitely go back again and make strong recommendation for great greek food

Okayish food for the price you pay. The server forgot our starters and our food had become soggy by the time it came in. The interiors are very well done but that does not make up for the lack luster food.

We had good outing here in the restaurant... loved the food. But we had gone for an overall experience which it fell short of. For the money spent, the expectation is to have great food but also great ambience, seating arrangements and smart & interactive staff rather than only polite staff. But Polite they were. May be my expectations were high. but I paid enough at the end of this. So, my expectation wants to be high . Your sofa covers need a definite wash or even change. And staff need to be faster and nimble .. service was slow. And considering we were there for a lunch , I can only imagine how it would be in evenings. But the food was great and portions good. Orange cake was superb. Might come back to give second chance.

Must. Go. Greece. Now.

What an amazing place that sucks you in as soon as you get near. We got welcomed by awesome, smiling staff who cheerfully walked us up to our table on the second floor. Where we were mesmerized by the gorgeous decor of blue and white.

And then the menu. Every single item calls out to you. We ordered the beef kebabs with tsziki, grilled feta cheese, lamb chops and beef patties. Each item was huge portions and we could barely finish half of what we ordered. I'm still dreaming about the beef kebabs. My wife said the lamb was the best she's ever had (up there with Aussie lamb).

And then the smiling peeps got us yummy baklava and some sort of a cream filo pastry. Yumm. I haven't even looked at the bill yet (should be about $70/head including a drink), had to write this out first.

It's fantastic food, priced a little high, but made and served by delightful people. If your wallet is prepared, your tummy empty, and your mind in Santorini - you'll leave on Cloud 9.

Slowest service ever! We ordered at 8:05 and still waiting here at 9:20 to get our food on table. Seriously, it s the most bored and sleepy I have ever felt at a place. No point appreciating food if it takes 40-45 mins to get a single place of hummus and pita!

Not what it used to be.

Waiter asked us to leave the table as soon as we were done eating. Bad experience. Will never go there again.

We had a lovely time at Blu Kouzina tonight and while the food was great, it's really the service that will have me returning despite the prices being a little on the high side.

It was our first time so the menu was pretty intimidating as we couldn't visualise most of the dishes, but every staff we encountered during our visit was friendly, warm and so eager to help. Nice ambience too, real cosy and homely, and the staff have a way of making you feel comfortable I was happy to linger past dessert.

The taramasalata and hummus were both divine accompaniments to the fresh pita.. our only regret was bingeing on the pita until we were too stuffed to order the lamb chops. Next time, for sure, and until then, I'll be thinking of Blu Kouzina! Thank you for the memorable dining experience, it's heartening to see that we can still get such good service by locals when it's become so commonplace to encounter bad service in Singapore. You have my 5 stars!

Vegetarian friendly authentic Turkish place. Nice ambience, good food and friendly staff. I really enjoyed the first time I went, because of which I went again, however the second time was not so great - my email because of wrong choices of dishes we ordered. Please take chef's recommendation and he might suggest you something which suits your pallet.

Lovely place with very good service, ambience and food. We were struggling with the menu when a staff came over and kindly recommended us some dishes with portions just right for two persons - the 3 dips (hummus, eggplant, white cod) with pita bread, baked cheese with fig, and grilled chicken skewer. Ended the dinner with the baklava and orange cake desserts which were really good.

Dishonest.

Dishonest.

We ordered the seafood platter, which consisted of Sea Bream, grilled squid and 3 jumbo prawns. When the platter came out the 3 jumbo prawns, which are a major part of the platter, were missing without a word of explanation. When we asked why there were no prawns, they said there was none today and had been replaced with octopus. So the seafood platter consisted of Squid, 400g sea bream and octopus. So it was bream and squid/octopus - hardly a platter. I hope you like Cephalopod family of seafood.

This annoyed me for a number of reasons:

1) How difficult is it to tell someone a key component of their order is missing when it is ordered, so that you have the option to order something else? We had the same thing happen the previous night and waiter apologised and suggested the alternative-i.e. they gave us a choice rather than trying to deceptively pass off something else. Everyone happy.

2) When we asked where the prawns were, they said there was none and said in an aggressive manner, "is this a problem?". Like it was our fault that they had changed the dish after we ordered. We we made to feel uncomfortable that we even questions that they didnt bring out what we ordered.

3) If we had ordered the components of the sea platter off the ala carte menu, it would have been cheaper than what they charged us for the seafood platter. It was quite frankly dishonest that they were substituting the expensive components with cheaper stuff. So it cost $130 for a 400g bream and squid/octopus.

When it cost $200 for the above, a beer and 2 glasses of house sparkling, they really need to lift their service. It was one of the european guys that served us. Poor form.

This place is tucked in a cozy corner of Dempsey cluster. The ambiance is really soothing. The food is absolute goodness. We tried lamb chops which were really well done. Chicken skewer was so succulent and a bomb of flavour. We ended the evening with a hot bakhlawa which was a melt in mouth dessert. The service is very good every staff is on top of their game in serving the guests.

Greece is one of my favorite destination for holidays. This is extremely far away from the Greek food that I know. The food had all sorts of strange and funny taste and some of has an off turning smell. The cooks and waiters were not focusing on their jobs and were too busy joking and chatting away. We were waiting for 45 minutes to receive our food. When we informed the waiter, he showed an unhappy face. The staff there are working as if they are doing us a favor. It's like they forget that we are paying and they are on the receiving end. I will never recommend this restaurant.

Housed in a quaint building, Blu hits you with a wonderful decor and high ceiling that is quirky but homely. Service is great (shoutout to uncle Bob), with traditional Greek dishes executed well. The taramasalata is a must, and do order extra pita with your dips. Meat platters were immaculate, with each meat appropriately seasoned and cooked. Would definitely be back for a casual meal or even a special occasion. Props to a Greek wine list with decent prices as well.

I'm a vegetarian, and I loved the food options at Blu Kouzina! Also, the staff really went above and beyond in helping me celebrate my dad's birthday at this place. Great experience overall!

The place though pricy, has good food and has value for money. Has a variety of options. Though it is easy to spend a lot of money. Has a heck ton of gluten free and vegetarian options.

My family's loved this place since the old location near 6th avenue. They never fail to make you feel special, and happy that their service and food standards have not dropped after so many years. Can't remember the dishes' names in Greek, but my personal favs there are the white cod roe dip, smoky eggplant dip, grilled fish and grilled lamb chops.

It is difficult to find Greek cuisine in singapore so this will do to satisfy your cravings but the food and service are only average. The old kitchen on Bukit Timah was apparently better.

Decor is pretty though and the new location, Dempsey Hill, is gorgeous.

We enjoyed the hummus and pita and also the grilled octopus.

Quality is above average but doesn't really worth the price. They used to have olive oil available on the table. Dissappointing to see that gone in my second visit. The service was so so. Quick but not very friendly.

Dish by dish reviews:

Melitzanosalata: The smoked eggplant with cheese was very tasty. Not sure how smoked is different than roasted though, I think it is just roasted eggplants. But the addition of cheese and the creamy texture (thanks to tahini?) was very nice.

Bougiourdi: The roasted red pepper stuffed with cheese. A small portion of this dish costs over $20 but they use canned pepper, not fresh! Insulting...

Xtapodi: The grilled octopus was tender and fresh enough. Mild taste.

Kolokithokeftedes: Zucchini meatballs. It had too much dill for my taste, causing a dry mouthfeel. Some strong flavor was missing in the taste. Maybe a a little more cheese would do.

Soutzoukakia: This is basically meatballs in tomato sauce. Too salty and the meat is burnt. Avoid.

Our first trip to Blu Kouzina, will be the first of many, I'm sure!
It's a cute place with a fun and friendly vibe.
The staff was excellent, service was friendly, fast and right on point.
The food was scrumptious and plentiful. The servings are generous and sharable.
I highly recommend bringing a big appetite and friends, you'll be glad you did!
