Nicely decorated for Christmas with different things on every floor. There's a gingerbread house, snow globe and an ice rink. The windows outside are also beautifully done and a view to look at. Fun to browse and window shop while in the area and walking through the building.
Yesterday went I was there on the eighth floor I asked of a sale to help me to find this pot, he never went out his way. Thank to Vincent help got the pan for me. Some people only have a job because.

Not my favorite store any more due to issues in the fine jewelry department. BAD customer service in that department. As long as they sell Charlotte Tillbury there I will only buy that there. Once she sells in other stores I now longer need to shop there.

Bloomingdale's is above average. But barely. It has a wide selection of brands but the items from those brands are limited and not high end. Ok for casual and everyday wear, I guess.
I don't actually shop here, just go to see their windows for Christmas and they are always awesome.
Fantastic large store bit like the UK's Harrods beautiful but rather pricey

Huge shopping mall with every known famous designer. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. On the day I went they even gave me a 25% discount because they had marked the boots I eventually bought with the wrong price tag. I was obviously very happy about that. I would go again! Very good shopping experience! It was also very nicely decorated!

The store is huge! If your looking for designer clothing this is a great place to shop because they have them all. Inside is made up many smaller show rooms that feature individual designers. Just walking by is a treat as they often make up great windows.

Bloomingdales bar non in women s shoes and perfume skin care selection. Sales people, exemplary service I enjoy almost an entire morning before lunch at Estee Lauder. Last pair shoes pinched slightly and shoe department manager didn t offer so much as sluk to accept back after 3 days. Excellent service, excellent price and excellent service

They could really use more places to sit, and it's very difficult to find a staff member to help which would be nice because much of the inventory is disorganized. But it is a bit of NYC history and there is a good bakery on the first floor. You can also get directly to the 59th street metro station from the basement.
Big and great. Many shops, luxurious brands. Megastort perfumery. Good service. Beautiful interior and design. Luckily ; still free to just look at the goods.
It's worth the visit even if you don't buy anything.

Large department store for the NYC area. Has everything you can imagine in the high-end brands which makes it very expensive. All the restaurants in the store are all very tasty and worth a trip, even if you don't want to shop.

Some items look like people bought them, worn them, slept in them, drooled in their sleep, and the drool got on the items; and than they returned it back to the store with the drool stains on them. #SONOTCOOL
It's more of a spectacle than a store for most. Lot's of high end selections, interesting to just walk around. Overpriced though even on Black Friday.
When in Rome, do as the Romans. When in New York, go to Bloomingdale's. This is the iconic department store and has to be seen. So many departments, choices and displays, plus the iconic Bloomingdale's bags to take shopping for the rest of your life. Not bad for a shop.

This is by far the best true department store still left. We really love the home store, tabletop, linens, and furniture. But fashion is great, too. I love the Art Deco details.

On the ground floor of Bloomingdale's Gallery, choose the New York City specialty, the famous Pastrami sandwich with French fries.
It is like no other store in the world..........so they still say! It is a must for your bucket list and a must for tourists but after you have been there and done that, shopping gets old there quick. Holiday time is a good time to shop here so don't forget that!
Bad staff. Bryan Magliaro & management, harass shopping customers and falsely accused them of shoplifting. Take them to the back & strip search them, accusing them of stealing - only to find out, nothing was stolen. "Shop & frisk" will never shop at a low level customer service store who racially profiles customers soon as they walk in.
I went to use the men's room, so you send an "associate" in a tight assed suit to come in and watch me? Shopping while non white is an issue? At least don't be so obvious and your merchandise is low budget and overpriced

Always love going here for my Alex and Ani jewelry my sales associate was great and helpful even got me to sign up for a card.(didn't get it but that's okay lol) i received one from Macy's
Worst phone customer service I ve ever encountered. Got tossed around department to department because nobody knew who could help me. Had a manager leave me on hold until I was hung up on multiple times.
I shop there at least 2 to 3 times a month and always return due to the customer service and attention to detail.
It's Bloomingdale's, it's an iconic name in New York shopping in the heart of new york, upscale fashion makeup and various other sundries and just about anything you can think of, luggage, housewares, cookware & small appliances Electronics, gadgets, jewelry it's all there in one convenient place.
And after all that shopping stepping out onto the street, you will get hungry from all the wonderful smells emanating from the food carts and restaurants that New York City has to offer every imaginable cuisine from every imaginable corner of the Earth.
Entertainment, it's NEW YORK CITY, if you can't find something to do in this city you might want to check your pulse, because you might be dead, Bloomingdale's is just one of the Fantastic places you can visit in this city and if you're looking to spend a few bucks it's certainly is the right place to go.

The only reason I don't give the full 5 stars is due the sales people from YSL cosmetics. Everyone else in the store is so nice and helpful. I love that they usually carry diffrent pieces from contemporary designers you won't find in other department stores. The girls in the jewelry boutiques are amazing!
I've been to many stores in New York, but Bloomingdale's on 59th Street was sensationally well stocked.
The selection of men's fragrances is sensational ... especially from Penhaligon's, which is my favorite manufacturer of men's fragrances.
The selection and the service is fantastic here ... I'll definitely be back here ... Best recommendation ...
