A great store with lots of fun things and not everything is priced like a used car. Wandering around you can almost always find something fantastic you didn't know you couldn't live without! It is weak on practical clothes, especially for heterosexual men. But they probably don't see many.
1 stop for everything clothing when you can't decide.
I forgot places still exist with really helpful staff and quality merchandise. Hopefully Amazon won't kill them off.

After shopping in the store this past Saturday May 19, 2018, I was deeply unsatisfied with the lack of customer service and customer attention. I was looking for black jeans for over 30 minutes in the metro level before anyone greeted me or ask if I needed help. Went upstores to the lab section to see if the sales associate from allsaints was in store and unfortunately I was informed he was no longer with the store and now at another retailer. Bloomingdales 59th and White Plains NY has to improve on customer service and store appearance if they plan to be a viable in this current market. Nordstrom Men s store in nyc will definitely be seeing me more often! Excellent customer attention and service.

Terribly disappointing. All of the food tasted like it came straight out of the box and went into the microwave. Not indicative of David Burke's cuisine at all. The prices were also ridiculous considering what we got. Drinks were great.

I haven't been in a department store in probably a decade and Bloomie's reminded me what I was missing. The great grandmother of thrm all still delivers in spades. Even in the age of Amazon, Bloomingdale's remains an essential go-to whether a visitor or grizzled NYC veteran.

I have never been to such a massive store in my life. Honestly it was pretty overwhelming. I found the staff to be very helpful but generally I found the layout to be somewhat confusing. I have no real complaints about the inventory or staff though, as there was a huge selection of styles and brands.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Was told by sales associate that the special occasion dress I purchased could be returned "no problem." Went back last week to return and they would not accept the item. Have never written a bad review in my life, but will certainly not be shopping here again. Honor your customers, Bloomingdale's, if you want them to come back.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of brands and the sales are fantastic. Keep an eye on what discounts you're supposed to be getting, especially if you're buying items from different sections of the store, as the staff might not be up to date on discounts being offered outside of their department. If you're from outta town be sure to drop in to the international visitors center to get your free discount voucher and gift!
Come here every now and then but need to start looking for a new store (or just shop online). They have a huge selection of anything you could think of cosmetics, jewelry, clothing, shoes, etc. Decent prices too if you take in their constant sales. But the store could be laid out much better. It's like a maze! one escalator going up and the down escalator is on the other side of the store. Different levels in between levels so it's hard to navigate. And very pushy sales associates worried more about commission then helping someone.

Love this store! You can find anything there whether it s a last minute gift or a party dress for tonight s occasion. Huge skincare/makeup and fragrance selection as well. The salespeople are always patient and willing to help - unlike in many other stores in nyc where you just get rushed in and out. Love Magnolia bakery on the first floor and the fact that they have a couple of restaurants inside in case you get hungry after hours of shopping. Shoe department is huge and included a great designer selection. My only wish that they had a better jewelry selection and included some better selection instead of just plenty of cheap chachkas.

Just another department store with a lot of employees mingling with each other or their phone. Few offer thrue help... Yet, there are select few that they truly go out of their way...

I used to love this store until I met this sales person Sahar Pardis . I came to the store I ve been shopping for years for help with a return. And what I got? I wasted an hour of my time and left the store with negative energy all over me. He ruined my day and my and left the worst impression of the store. Will never ever go there again.

Well what's not to like in a place like Bloomingdale's. Fantastic shopping experience ever. In the shoe department which is my most favourite place to be, they had the most amazing shoe display. Not only that there was a pop up cocktail bar which of course we had to visit as we were on a special birthday treat holiday.
worst experience ever. Placed an order online one week ago and got canceled because my information didnt not match their "public record". the customer service was terrible and did not help at all. The only thing they did was repeating "sorry, we cannot assist you further".

This location is smaller, messier, poorly stocked and less organized than most Bloomingdales I've seen. I will only be back if I needed to run another errand at a neighboring store. It's not worth dealing with parking in that area just to go here.
