Blitz Paintball Review

Went when they were at their old location not bad of a place fun people and service.

Yeah I had a great time we met our other group. And it was amazing got there fast got the equipment was great.

Has to be one of the best times I've had in a long time. We brought a bunch of people out here and got down like a pound of backbones. Cujo made it so much more fun than it could've been. He's def a keeper!

I came here as a school trip and it was awesome, the paintball games was so fun. Bring padding!! Always would bring my friends here again.

Travis has been great. He's showed us a lot of games that we're fun. They follow all the rules. There safe funny and will give you a lot of good tips.

They have great deals on paint and have amazing courses. This place is awesome and I planing on having my party here.

Normally a great place to play. This season however, there are a few VERY inexperienced refs.

Some of the refs today (yes, the new ones) didn't know how to run the games. One ref got stuck doing the chronos and didn't even know how to do them. She wasn't watching the meter when signing off on them. Same ref, in fact, was watching the hyperball game through the net instead of the game of big batta boom that she was supposed to be reffing.

Two weeks ago I had the same issue of inexperienced refs. I didn't want to post anything then because I figured they would get it figured out. However I was proved wrong today. It's almost like the refs got worse.

I will re-review you guys when the refs get better. I love Blitz. I want to continue coming out, but it needs to be said that the new refs this year need a lot more training. The seasoned guys are great. They know what's up. But those new guys/girl need a lot work.

So, as promised, I am editing this review uprocess to 5 stars. We went back to Blitz last week after a 2 month hiatus. It was a much better experience. The refs knew what was up. It was well managed despite being extremely busy.

Blitz is an awesome field to play at!

If you are a "regular, over zealous, commando wanna be" - your experience will be wonderful. The "referees" will treat you as adults, and will give your games twice as much time as - the family that just wants a bit of fun. The public matches are filled with jerks (whinny crybabies really) and the referees cater to them, and cite their "special rules" that are only for the "regulars" benefit. Heck, the "careers" are not even asked to leave the fields when they are done half the time. The ability for a family to have fun here has diminished so dramatically, that there is basically no point in it. You will be called names by the "freaks," and the referees alike, so, wear you thick skin.

I understand it is outside, dirty, etc... but is it really so impossible to get just a bit of relief from the wind at the tables?

Had a really fun time. Great team building and bonding. Builds competitiveness and teaches teamwork. Definitely a must try

I love this place best paintball place I have been to. They give you amor and a Tippmann marker Wich I love Tippmanns.

WOW! I mean what else is there to say about this place. Not only is this the best run paintball facility that i've played at in Colorado, but the best place i've played EVER. Yes that means that you're warned when your barrel bag is not on, yes that means that if you shooting hot your gone for the day, but this is all done with the intent of saftey not to be mean, which is very much appreciated so that new players are not tarnished with a bad experience. These guys are a class act and very customer service oriented. The Scenario fields are HUGE, full helicopter, 2 story fort, and 8 diffrent building to play in, not to mention that there are no nails hanging out of the bunkers like some other places. This was a well thought out field and much props to BLITZ for all their support while out there. Customer for life and i dare you to try it. It will be the best dare you've ever taken!

Have played PB starting in 1990. The guys at Blitz were detailed about safety, informative about gear and easy to get along with. They have several fields and break them up smartly for smaller groups. They refereed fairly without interfering with the game. Price was very fair for start up kit and amount of time to play. Were padding!!

Despite coming in late we were able to squeeze in a good amount of gaming. Worth it.

Place was super friendly. I have paintballed a few times but nothing special and this place is my new favorite. Thanks everyone

Our company came out and played all day. Great experience, great staff, awesome experience. The staff was extremely helpful and a lot of fun, making it easy for the first timers in our group. They walked us through all of the games, and stood by while we wrecked each other. Can't wait to go back.

Whether you're new to the game or play at the national tournament level, Blitz is the place for you. Friendly and expert level staff, great prices, and well maintained fields to meet any players needs. I've played at many fields across the country and this is hands down the best, and offers the best variety of play.

This place is absolutely the only place to play paintball I'm Colorado. Denver colosseum doesn't hold a flame to this field. The staff is always super helpful and super friendly. Prices are extremely fair, as well of you have any problems with your marker or anything they are more than willing to do anything to help.

Had the college student storage company party at blitz. It was awesome. Equipment was in tip top shape. Guys we're cool who worked there and we all had a blast. Highly recommended. Bring at least 16 people, tons of water, lense cleaner, and knee pads!!!

I just had to give a shout out to the people over at Blitz. I have had two corporate team building exercises there over the last 3 weeks and these followed a birthday party that I had for my son there in July. It is just a top notch operation for both first timers and for pro paintballers. The staff is very supportive and helps coach all skill levels along. I had no prior experience and they just made it so easy to enjoy this sport.

Today they opened the place for a my corporate function, which they will do during the week if you make a reservation and we had a rather modest group go out and all of us had a great time. I have enjoyed all of the refs that keep the matches fair out at Blitz and the two today were just spectacular (David and Travis White) who were able to make my corporate function happen even with some poor planning on my part. They rescued me and just made the day. For that I am grateful.

Keep up the terrific work there at Blitz! I will be coming out again and again. It is a great way for co workers and for families to bond. Thank you for making it possible.

My day at blitz paintball has been an experience to remember. At first i was afraid it would hurt but it didn't which made it even better. They have great service and are very friendly and they really care about your safety. This place is super fun. 10/10 would recommend and i am definitely coming back

I went to Blitz for my bachelor party and had a blast! Everyone there had an awesome day! I liked it so much I went back two weekends after and bought my own gun. Speedball is definitely a favorite of mine, but last time I was there I did all public games and still and great fun. If you get a chance to play undertaker and your willing to get hit, do it, I was in the second game ever played.

Came for a bachelor party. We played both walkon and a few private games. The Blitz Paintball staff was very accommodating to our group and we would all highly recommend having your event here, or coming for a day of walk on play.

Such a stellar playing field! Huge space with tons of barriers and variety, refs are awesome and create games that kept us excited and havin a great time all day. Highly recommended!!

My Wife Got me and 7 friends the Groupon for this place and it was my first time getting to finally paintball, absolutely insanely fun, even in the snow soaking wet i had the time of my life! everyone had a blast from my buddies to cousins and nephew and even my 11 yr old son, who never once had any issues with getting shot, said it hurt but was way worth it. I definitely advise gearing younger ones up properly to allow them to have fun even if they get shot. When you first arrive you are greeted by young Staff, but don't be mislead by appearances the professionalism and safety practices here were top notch. The staff here is highly knowledge about gear and safe practices. They also have a bunch of great selections of gear there on site. It was a day just above 50 degrees and the guns ran into a little bit of issue cause of temperature, but it was fixed quick and even in the snow it was truly a great experience. well be back many times more!

Wow this was fun and the refs we're professional and cool

Shout out to Blitz Paintball. They have an awesome staff and when it come to a business having loyalty to it's customers. Needed a new lense to keep playing and didn't really want to have to buy one so they hooked it up with a discount. The refs are all great and and knowledgeable about the sport. On top of that the facility itself exceeds expectations. This is the best weekend spot there is.

These guys do a good job. Three of us made the drive out to Blitz (quite a distance from South Denver) and found the field to be well designed, the service to be decent (although there were several guys sitting on their cans making one young kid do all the work), and the rates were better than other places we've encountered (like Paintball Coliseum, which sucks tremendous Johnson). We spent a full day there, went through a case of paint and left wishing we had more time.

You can rent all the gear. Private arenas with a sign up list/roll call. Public arena with non-stop action.

Everyone did a great job well managed and it was really fun! Recommend it for if you're looking for a fun time!

Terrible customer service at the register. Joe makes every person he talks to feel they are ignorant and a bother. He made me feel very ignorant about everything! He made it sound like I was putting him out for asking. It was our first time at Blitz and we went for my sons birthday. Spent over $400 and was not impressed by the customer service. I asked a question later after paying for the 12 members of the party and was told "Well they went over that in safety orientation" well since I was a spectator I had not gone thru the orientation as I was not participating. A simple answer to my question would have sufficed. All I can say is with better customer service this place would rock!

I ve been to paintball courses in Missouri, North Carolina, and now this one in Colorado and this was by far the worst place I ve been too.
To start, it was super disorganized. The first round wasn t bad, but every round after that no one knew what they were doing. In the capture the flag game no one on my team knew what the flag was or where it was located. I asked a ref and he said it was a green towel lying somewhere on the 50 yard line . When up there looking I spoke with another ref who said it was an orange flag that was hanging on the flag pole in the middle of the ring. Why do they not even know what the objective is? Another round the refs didn t explain the rules well enough and there were people on the other team in locations that were thought to be out of bounds shooting at us so we had to adjust our strategy during that game to compensate for the enemies who were in locations they weren t suppose to be in. Another round of the same game, in a different location, the enemies were suppose to be in a trailer defending while we assaulted. As I m assaulting I m getting shot at from a direction that is not from the trailer. I get hit and asked the ref if they are suppose to have anyone over there and he just disregards that I ask him a question. I go spawn and come back to assault the trailer from the same direction and again am taking fire from the same direction. I asked the ref again why there were people shooting at us from over there when the game was attack and defend the trailer abd we were getting fired at from a courtyard not close to the trailer. He then sees my own team is shooting at me cause the rules were not explained well and no one knew what was going on. Several times we had people doing things that were not within the rules of the game so the games were stopped early. There were several times the game had started only a couple people knew so some people were playing while others didn t know what was going on. All the refs were 17-18 year old kids who didn t know what they were doing. There was a group of 2 or 3 guys there who I discovered used to work there and there was definitely a bias during the game towards them. One instance I shot a guy(the guy who used to work there) and advanced from a corner to shoot two more guys. The first guy I shot started shooting at me and so I returned fire at him again, knowing I already hit him. I hit him several times and he continued to shoot hitting my shoulder. A ref comes up to me and says sir you re out. The same guy, later on, is defending a trailer and can only get out with a head shot. I advance to the door and am popping my head and gun around the corner firing a couple rounds and going back behind the wall. As I m assaulting I keep hearing, what I thought to be, the ref and the players in the trailer telling me to stop blind firing which at no point did I shoot without looking what I was firing at. As I enter the trailer I see the dude sitting on the ground half behind cover and half exposed shooting while he has his head behind cover, blind firing which I was just yelled at for even though I didn t. Nothing was said to him. I shoot him in the chest a couple times and I hear, what I believe to be the ref again, telling me to stop shooting. I comply then he leans out and shoots me in the face and I m called out.
I will not be going back to the place. The main reason why I chose to go to this place was for the castle that we didn t even play while we were there. Was not satisfied playing here.

We had a great time. Dill was a great host and really tried hard to make our experience the best.

Friendly staff. Multiple courses for many types of game play. Highly recommend.

First time playing, rental gear worked just fine and had an opportunityou to play a small game with friends to get the feeling of the game. Refs were helpful and friendly, also the arena is very large and full of nice vantages. However in the colder whether the rental masks did fog easily. We were able to get some fog proof gear after a few games. All in all it was a great time and will be returning.

The staff and refs were really nice and helpful and this experience is definitely making me switch over from airsoft

Biggest and best paintball I ve been to. And the manager was really nice.

It was my first time coming to paintball with my friends for a birthday party. And for my first time it was a very fun experience. Different maps lots of fun and decent prices

What a great place! We had so much fun for out day date today! We def plan on bringing our kids back to get in on the fun.

I grew up playing paintball back in the 80's. Just going out in fields with friends. Paintball has come a long way over the last 25 years. Blitz has the best plying fields i have ever seen. The employees are very organized and helpful weather you are a beginner or a vet. in the sport. My wife and I took our son out with his friends for a birthday party and we all had a great time. You all need to check this place out.

Had a blast with my family. Place is huge and there is a good vibe around there. Make sure you follow the rules and if its possible get coddy as referee (nice guy ,fun,share some tips and suggested game modes) if you are running private party or large group this is the spot. Don't forget to bring ice and gatorade !
They sell food onsite but they only take cash.
Will be returning for sure !

Compared to literally every park in the Denver Area, this one is by far the best. They have many fields to choose from, staff is great, and most of all they have GOOD PAINT to choose from for decent prices. Any player from beginner to expert should love this field. Every time I go, it is a very good experience that haves me always coming back for more...Thanks Blitz!

Had a stellar team building experience at blitz. The crew there are super helpful and knowledgeable. Defiantly bringing my crew here.

Blitz is located 26 minutes from Denver. We live in Florida and go to Blitz once a year during ski season. They are open all winter if the weather is above 30 degrees. My husband and kids love the size of the park. They have an old helicopter and airplane parts. The castle is a neat place to hide and shoot your enemy. I would recommend this place 110 percent. Don't go anywhere else!!

This is the best organized manicured and equipped paintball course that I have ever been to the staffs are very educated and professional and their equipment is high-quality I have absolutely no complaints about this facility!

Blitz paintball is great and easily the best field in Colorado. The fields are very well maintained and the staff is very supportive and friendly. The airfields are always in great shape and the turf is top notch.

Our boys had a great birthday party here. Our ref was excellent. He was organized and helped the boys have a great day! Highly recommended!

Overall great place, good focus on safety, clean, decent refs (a little slow on calling people out, but better than many). My only complaint is they usually only have 1 game running; its a respawn game so you aren't sitting around waiting, but they turn into massive games and stalemates.

Most fun place ever!!! Will come back for sure I never had so much fun in my life. The staff is really nice and enforces the rules well.

I have been playing paintball for over 10 years. Most of my playing has been all around Southern California where there are some of the best facilities in the country. I have to say that this place is leaps and bounds above anywhere I have seen! The new Blitz is a paintball paradise.

Blitz paintball in unforgettable experience. Safety is easily their number one priority so you can make sure you have a safe experience. Great customer service, they make you feel like you're very important. Definitely coming back in the near future!

I freaking love the Blitz. The rec fields are great and imaginative, but what I LOVE most are the tournament fields.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. The owner, Isaac, is awesome. Tournaments are run without a hitch.

Most of the other players at the Blitz are super chill.

What a awesome time at this place amazing staff tons of fun

Blitz have different site for teams and individuals. You can play with the folks you attend with and ahoot each other or do public match where there are mission you must complete. They have a target practice area if you need to warm up or just simply get alone shooting time. I love how organize they are where you start to fill out paper work to getting rental gear if you don't have your own, reviewing their ground rules to dining resting area. The staffs are kind and friendly where they take safety as a priority. The price is fair and the visit is worth every penny and the experience.

Listen to the other positive reviews, all correct. You know the guy complaining about the wind didn't know what he was talking about. This place is Well organized, safety oriented they even chrono all the guns people bring in so no ones shooting too high. Just wish they had a way for single walk-ons to join speed ball, and I would come more often. Will change review to 5 stars if they make this happen.

Update:
After playing here every Saturday for the last 5 weeks. I can say that this is without a doubt the safest and most efficiently well ran paintball field I've been to. The refs are very professional when the game starts and are spot on when making sure everyone is following the rules of the game. If you happen to step out of bounds, they are able to yell loud enough to let you know so you can fix your position before being called out. Yes, they yell at you during game play and even after if you are about to walk out of the area with no barrel bag or a mask, etc. They aren't yelling at you to be mean, they are yelling to you to let you know that you need to be safe and to ensure everyone else is safe. If you have any questions or problems you can approach any ref and they will address the issue and try to help if they can. Another thing I have noticed is the refs are great at helping the new or younger generation get into the game and help them with their equipment and will answer any questions. Definitely a great place for a beginner or expert. I won't play anywhere else unless I'm out of state. The paint and fees are also great. The same paint they sell at the field sells for 4$ more on amazon. They have made it into an affordable sport.

First review:
I went today with a couple my friends. Its been about 10 years since I have last played. My Tippmann 98 had an issue and Ty diagnosed it while doing a check and they were able to fix it for me for only $10 (fast too only about 30 minutes). I was also able to get a mask there for only $45 and it's a good one. The store that they have is great for being at their field.

The game play was great. The refs were on point and made sure to keep things safe and did a good job of keeping people moving and making sure they were heard. The fields that they have and the games are fun. The courses are awesome. There also is a lot of people that show up so you have big teams. The only thing that would be better is if there were some single elimination in the public matches. I am now going to begin playing regularly after this experience.

This place is Dope! Super fun barriers and the staff is great! The guns and masks are great quality too. Definitely recommend!

Just spent the day at Blitz Paintball for my daughter's birthday place was awesome. you should come up here if you come ask for Levi and Justin they kicked ass.

Blitz paintball is a lot of fun. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They don't cut corners on safety. They paintball field is amazing! We spent an entire morning there playing tons of games that the staff recommended. Go to Blitz paintball.
