Warm friendly place. Great bar, good prices. They have lovely art work on display. Always worth seeing. They book a lot of famous people and the amateur dramatics are on par with the professionals.
It's a good place to just drop in for a cuppa and a home made cake.

I have been a few times to Blackfriars theatre to see various shows , went to the Elvis one recently , lovely little theatre that seats about 200 max probably less with really friendly staff & a nice little review bar upstairs . Highly recommended , especially for pantomines which are really worth going to see , with it being small it has a really personal feel to it that you don't get with the bigger theatres

Whilst I appreciate that rely on donations, there really needs to be some form of ventilation in the theatre room, especially during a hot time such as this. Even an open door or window would be appreciated.

We went to see Santa today. He was great and so was the team around him. We arrived early and a man we believe to be called Tony ( we may be wrong on his name so sorry if we are) showed the children around the displays in the foyer and made up questions to keep them happy amd busy. We didn't feel rushed and we feel it was great value for money. A very happy and enjoyable experience.

Historic Building which houses a range of performances from pantos to plays. The staff at Blackfrairs are always very friendly and caring.

I recently attend a panto here with a elderly family member and the staff could not have been any more caring than they where. The panto performance was great and throughly enjoyable.

Refreshments are available from the ticket office or the upstairs bar. Plenty of parking is available nearby and the building has been adapted to be wheelchair friendly.

Was able to watch a great show here, seats were relatively comfortable and the whole audience got into the spirit of the show, however in the summer heat, it was very warm at the top of the theatre due to the heat rising from the stage lights, however if the actors can survive it, so can we

A fantastic venue in Boston. Always has great shows by local groups and touring professionals. Well worth a visit. Theatre is wheel chair accessable but would advice notifying the centre prior to your visit as the lift into the theatre needs to be operated by a member of staff.

I booked 3 tickets to see Cinderella pantomime this Xmas, and I made a mistake and booked it for 11am instead of 2pm, when I arrived and was seated at the 2pm performance, the mistake had been found, but instead of been told to leave the staff were very helpful and found us 3 seats elsewhere, the performance was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our day, a massive thank you to the staff at blackfriars
