Pretty typical loud, divey place with a patio, decent bar food, and a few interesting drinks. The wait staff always seems really harried, even when it's not terribly busy, but they're always friendly.

Great place to watch a sporting event. Food is excenllent and affordable. Lots of tables and televisions.

The waitress sat down on our table to take our order. Very limited parking.

Love the Black Sheep Lodge. Right off of S Lamar near Oltorf, this is a great patio spot, especially for football Sundays or for soccer games. Extensive beer menu and pretty good burgers and sweet potato fries too. Probably going to become a weekly hangout.

Food is okay, drinks aren't bad, nothing special, but a nice place to hang out.

Their cheese curds are amazing. Very good cheese with a really good fry and the ranch dipping sauce is A++.

Came here with friends who had previous positive encounters with this establishment and was looking to get food/drinks. Their computer systems were down when we arrived, which we found out after sitting down for nearly 15 minutes without being served or noticed and had to run inside to get drinks at the bar. After waiting for about 35 more minutes and even asking a server to notify ours that we were needing to order, no one came and helped us. Left without ordering any food and probably won't come back.

REVISION.. they kindly offered me a gift certificate and when I came back the service was a complete 360. Our waitress was very attentive and the food came out very quickly. Good customer service! Thanks for fixing the situation.

Popular dive bar with a huge selection of beer. Been awhile since they've done any remodeling, but a dive bar is what a dive bar is.

The service is as consistent as 3am pizza delivery, but for Austin this is a pretty essential spot. Go on Sunday and drink $3 Bloody Mary's or mimosas, can't lose unless you are Manchester United.

A nice Sunday afternoon place to bring your dogs, order a couple of pitchers, and enjoy the bumpin' South Lamar scene. Don't pass up the mini-corndogs, and be sure to dip them in curry ketchup it's life-changing.

Ordered a veggie dog through Favor and received a regular hot dog. Couldn't get ahold of the driver so we called Black Sheep Lodge, repeated our order and they confirmed it was not a veggie dog. So we ordered another meal and went there to pick it up. They were extremely kind and apologetic even though it was not their fault. Even refunded our meal!! Wow, above and beyond!!
Black Sheep Lodge has the absolute best Tater Tots and friendliest staff in ATX.

a good local joint. you can come here to watch college football and other popular sports. lots of seating inside, and has a decent patio as well. It can get a bit noisy for conversations though... overall, a nice place to hang out for younger crowd...

A cozy lodge-style bar off south Lamar. Specials every day of the week seem to attract different crowds, which always makes for an interesting atmosphere. Darts and shuffleboard also available for game-lovers, like myself. If you are looking for a nice place to hang out, talk, and drink with friends, this would be a good place to try.

Black sheep lodge has pool inside and and a couple other games! They have cheap lone star and my favorite beer thirsty goat on tap! Their patio is nice too. They get packed on game days and weekend evenings (probably like most places in Austin). The food is OK. I go for the atmosphere and beer! Also, dog friendly porch!

Not good. Burgers and sides not hot, burgers tasted as if grill were dirty. Definitely won't repeat the mistake of eating here again.

It's great. Wait staff is awesome. Drinks are great. Specials are awesome. Food is epic. Curry ketchup is genius. Parking is a nightmare, but worth it.

Just went there today to have a few margaritas and some food and didn't get either. Walked in and sat down and was there a couple of minutes and one of the wait staff said someone will be with you in a minute. Waited and waited and no one came to help me. I looked around and everyone that worked there were just standing around talking to each other and here I am waiting. I'm not sure what there system is and didn't know if tables are assigned but didn't wait any longer and just walked right out and they just watched me walk. Damn shame!!! I won't be returning ever again. I'll just take my business elsewhere.

Great food, drinks, service and atmosphere! This is my neighborhood bar for happy hour and grabbing a few on a Sunday funday. Good selection, the servers and bartenders are great, reasonably priced, and the typical crowd is nice. Only negative used to be parking, but they have an adjacent lot now that resolves that issue for the most part. Bottom line, go there, bring friends/coworkers with you, and enjoy!

Went here for a Green Bay game and the crowd was pretty into the game. Our server Claire was excellent and she's pretty much the reason why I will give this place 5 stars. I tried three cocktails from here and I approve all of them. Especially the Mexican Martini got to try that.

I used to go here every Wednesday with my dad for White Trash Wednesday. 16oz. canned beers for $1. Great patio looking onto S. Lamar. Lots of tvs. Shuffleboard. Great burgers and great service.

This is my favorite bar in town! The family style seating makes it a great place to meet people. They have great deals every night of the week and the food is delicious and cheap! I would highly recommend it!

One of my favorite dive bars because it has every bar game classic. Pool, shuffle puck, golden tee, big buck hunter. Good specials and crawfish boils.

Management is hit and miss. Employment is terrible and non competitive.

Food was unbelievably delicious and staff delightful on Christmas Day
