Nice service, how ever they rent you rooms in 3rd floor (attic) while they are supposed to be half rooms since you can't walk inside the the room with your head up due to low inclined ceiling!! I pumped my head in concrete ceiling few times. Wi-Fi was not available!.

Good and quiet area, close to bus that goes to metro. As well as close to supermarket.

Sensitive inside the hotel. The cleaners start pulling around on carts and slamming doors from 7.30.
Dusty inside the rooms, and does not look like the pictures at all. Dirty walls and boring rooms without storage, so the clothes had to be kept in the bag.
The reception staff was a bit nasty.
The breakfast was ok, but more sweets than cold cuts.
I went there for a convention and I didn't have a good experience .... we stayed for lunch for two days in a row (unfortunately the company had already booked everything !!) and the first day we took a dip in the 80s with speck zucchini and cream, and ham and melon. The second day we continued with summer 82/83 with rice salad ... honestly if they had to organize another convention I don't think to stay at lunch with them, rather it will be more "healthy MC Donald's near" !!

My experience in this hotel is unforgettable. Firstly it is quite cheap compared to the service, and the hotel itself. The hotel has a very good concept of modernity that looks great inside and outside the rooms. The rooms have super fast WIFI and beds that give pleasure sleeping there. The breakfast is within normal. The only bad thing is that it is far from the center of the city.

190 euros for: one night stay for two people, breakfast, a three course dinner, unlimited access to WELLNESS CENTER.
Dinner left us immediately disappointed and the spa is non-existent; it takes more than an hour to reach the center and the guaranteed shuttle has been denied for the reason that it was already completely complete.

If traveling by car - a great hotel with a large parking. It s going to take the bus to the subway, or about twenty minutes on foot. We liked the location - far from the road, very quiet, there is a supermarket and a cafe nearby.
Disappointing. Pool not open when we visited despite it being 28 degrees celsius and the end of May.
A camouflaged three-star is 4 stars. All very dark and not perfect cleaning. We found several hairs and a bug.

Carpets and lift need cleaning. Bedroom so small door must be opened fully before entering or injury will occur. Shower so small you cannot turn around in it. No tea or coffee facilities in room. Minimum drawer and hanging clothes provided. Hot food at breakfast not kept hot but staff will heat it up if you are prepared to wait 10 minutes. Broken glass on outer doors.....overall with a little imagination this will pass for a 1* hotel but you will pay an extra 6 per person per day as they class themselves as a 4*. Would not recommend!!!! Try the Midas Hotel beside it...it looks better but then it wouldn't take much.

Honestly I did not believe that a hotelazo so worth so little ... then when I stayed there I understood, not everything is as it appears in the photos! The rooms are passable, but the service to the staff, receptionists, etc., very unfriendly will spoil your stay here!
Difficult to reach if you are not in your car, because even with the means of transport you can get to a certain point. But then, especially in the evening, without a taxi, you can't go there at all. I stayed with a Smartbox and we were not guaranteed Most services that were in the package, so unfortunately not a positive experience.
Was expecting this place to be awful due to other reviews so was pleasantly surprised! Firstly it's out of the way....excellent metro system took us to cornelia station but then the 246 bus was hideous! Never came on time and always rammed in like cattle!! Hated that bus so much! The walk to the hotel from the bus stop is about five mins up a steep hill but not too bad after that bus! The actual hotel is modern with stylish decor. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. Good selection of fresh tasty food. Such as cereal, yoghurt, fruit cheeses and hams. Think only downside to this hotel is it's location but as I knew this when I booked seems ridiculous to moan! So worth a stay. Use the hotel shuttle in the mornings to the metro as although it's twice the price of the bus it's worth it!!

Staff all friendly, clean. Basic amenities, but did exactly what it said. Bit out of town, but average taxi around 15 euros to get into centre of Rome.
Only one star for the bad experience on arrival. Although the hotel had my contacts to let me know, when I checked in I was told that there were problems with the rooms and I was transferred to another hotel nearby. Absolute lack of professionalism.

It is a MALISIMO hotel, I do not recommend it to anyone, the bed sheets were not changed, one day we did not make the room, we arrived from Rome which by the way is far from the hotel (half an hour) and we had no towels Clean, the remote control of the television was requested 3 times and they did not give it to me in the 4 days I was there. The cistern of the vater was broken and lastly above all this I am required to pay a fee at the end of the stay without having informed me beforehand, which obviously I did not pay and as they charge me in the card I am denouncing them. So I do not recommend it to anyone. The staff of the restaurant is just the only thing that is worth it. Otherwise the worst !!
The worst hotel I ever got booked in. And the receptionist was one of the most disrespectful person I have ever met. We arrived at the hotel at 11 am which was 3 hours earlier than our check in. We where asked to wait 3 hours and as we had the luggage we sat there waiting. At 2 pm I went over and asked her about the room she said sorry room is not available we will move you to a different hotel. She made us wait 3 hours for absolutely nothing when she could have just come over and said that without wasting our time.
The hotel we where going to be moved was very far from the centre of Rome and so we checked out and booked a property through airbnb and had to take taxi there. By the time we reached the property it was 7 pm. So basically from 11 am to 7pm our time in Rome was just utter chaos because of the inconvenience Black Hotel caused. They did not even apologise or offer a refund . The only thing they offered is their colleague will transfer us in their grocery transporting van to the other hotel they moved us to.
We did not let ourselves down and decided to enjoy our time in Rome and did not let that ignorant disrespectful irresponsible receptionist ruin our time in Rome.
Never ever will I book at this hotel or recommend anyone to book this hotel.
Very nice place, in a residential area. The staff is very welcoming and very smiling. They are very friendly. Presentation of Rome, information. You have questions do not hesitate to ask them. The rooms are clean. The buffet restaurant is very good. For all tastes. Lunch is hearty and intercontinental. The hotel provides a shuttle to take you to the Cornelia station in the morning and you are waiting at the end of the day at the same place. quiet place ... It is a 4 star hotel that for its quality price is fine, you have to bear in mind that the hotel is not near the center, but in compensation there is free parking, the rooms are fine, breakfast is somewhat regulin what is normal in the hotels that I stayed in Italy (more than 100 hotels).
INTRODUCTION and LOCATION:
This was a nice, quiet, basic hotel with a good Japanese-style design away from the main parts of Rome. There is a bar, a restaurant, an outdoor seating area, a swimming pool, and a small, basic gym.
There is a local store called 'Panorama' which is walking distance near the main highway road. You can get some great stuff from here and is definitely worth a look and can reduce your holiday expenditure especially for food and drink.
I would highly recommend not going out alone at night time because the lighting is very poor and we noticed people parked up in cars on separate occasions.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Some staff members are polite and friendly and others aren't the best. The service at breakfast can sometimes be slow and they need a better system for replacing the hot water, milk and juices as a number of people can queue up and be waiting for a drink. Some of the waitresses were really pleasant and we tipped them for their excellence on our last day.
The housekeeping team also tidy up your hotel room each morning.
The hotel very nice but we went on a honeymoon and they put us separate beds that we could not even put them together. They took 3 days to solve it ... they are worth it.

Beautiful structure, modern and pleasant. The attic room is excellent, with a sufficiently high ceiling and a large and comfortable bathroom. Excellent quality-price relation.
The area is certainly not central or comfortable to reach, but with the shuttle service (to be booked) you can easily reach the metro. The breakfast buffet could be better.
Great American breakfast, and that's about it. Located ~ 20 minutes from the sites. Hotel dinner buffet was sub par. Not many options nearby to eat; according to concierge only place was a tex mex restaurant.

Hotel is good, but location is very very bad if you coming for travelling rome. Can take upto 2 hours from termini Station.
Negative experience. In the lodging (quadruple room) we found dirty walls, loose hanging appliques, windows without handles repaired at the time, bathroom sink clogged. It looked more like a storage room equipped as a room for the occasion, not to mention that the supplement of the 2 beds cost us a head's eye. Very bad.
A nice hotel. I've been there for a business meeting, so I can't rate the rooms. In the lobby, however, the very friendly and helpful staff and the truly welcoming meeting room. The hotel is spotless and well-kept.
Terrible, horrendous, scary, DANGEROUS!!! Absolutely the WORST 5 star hotel we have ever been to. First of all, our room was not ready for hours. Secondly, my mother got injured by the bathroom door made of ragged sheet metal and the desk clerk didn't even care to ask if she was alright. As she was bleeding all over the place, all he said was "Oh, too bad". We had no windows in our room. It looked like a converted storage shed room. The roof was angled so much that when we lay down on the bed, we could reach up and touch the roof... We all hit our head getting out of bed. Then the lights went out and were out for hours. We went to the front desk to ask what happened the front desk lady said "those crazy china people must have plugged something in." "They are always doing that". We were given poor directions to get public transportation to Rome. AND IT IS NOT AS ADVERTISED A SHORT DISTANCE INTO ROME!!!!!!! 70 euros by taxi round trip to Vatican. The desk clerks were less than helpful and seem bothered to even have to work there let alone deal with us. We checked out early and went to a different hotel... We went to a 3 star hotel that was 10 times better than the Black Hotel. Even the taxi drivers complained about the Black Hotel.
The room in the hotel was very nice, but when we looked right. Was the plaster from the walls split, a bit of mold in the shower, the toilet has on every sit on it, toilet paper was only in 1-ply, had to get us in the shop itself toilet paper. The walls are extremely thin, you can hear the neighbor's bowel movement. Repetition factor 0.
We arrived at the hotel and were shown to our room it was number 10... do not stay in this room it s not good(bins outside window and facing a wall) we quickly got changed to another room and this was perfectly ok. The barman and nighttime staff are so welcoming and always have a smile.. nothing is too much to ask. Try the food it s only 15 euros and far superior to anything we ve ate in Rome all week. Pool closed till June so bit disappointed. Bit far away from Rome but on the whole this is a fabulous hotel

Far from the city and you have to walk on a highway to get to the hotel, which is dangerous. Wifi does not work and it seems that for a long time according to comments from other customers. The staff's attention is bad, it seems that you would be bothering them. Air conditioning does not work properly, it turns off every five minutes, and on top does not chill anything (they do 30 degrees today). The hand towels are fabrics and they do not work. The minibar is empty, we ask that they fill it and they said they do not have any products. I would not go back, it looks like a telo reformed in bad taste.

Unfortunately we had to find out that the hotel is poorly accessible to the public. Bus line 264 is about a 15-minute walk away. The bus in the direction of the city center runs very irregularly. Today we waited about 30 minutes, unfortunately without success.
The blonde lady at the reception usually looks annoyed. The rest of the staff is okay.
The rooms are clean. Unfortunately, the curtain was broken when we arrived. So it was not possible to shield our room, which is located on the ground floor, from outside glances. At least the curtain was then repeated very quickly.
WiFi was not available in the room as promised, only in the lobby. The sauna can only be used by reservation from 8 am to 8 pm.
Unfortunately the lobby is so dark that it is not possible to read a book.
We paid 340 euros for 4 nights (2 people in a double room including breakfast)
We would have expected more with 4 stars. We spent a lot of money on taxis, especially because of the poor public connections.
The famous relaxation area is nothing more than an equipped cellar in the basement, their shuttle service consists in calling you a taxi, rooms with many inconveniences and noisy air conditioning

The Worst 4 Stars Where Ever Been
Since the arrival, on a rough road, the impression is not the best. We appreciate the minimal, post-industrial, modern style of the structure and the entrance door. At the reception the staff barely indicates the room number, does not tell us how to reach it, does not ask us if we need a hand with luggage, does not tell us about the structure and services included in the package we have booked. The electronic key is delivered to us without even a case. The corridors with dirty carpet and lisa are dark, gloomy, more like being in a disco. In the elevator one of the displays that should indicate the plans is burned out or not working.
The first room assigned to us was shamefully dirty: bedspreads full of dust and hair, towel in the bathroom, we open the sheets and even discover a blood stain. I run to the reception to change our room, I even show the photos but they call the housekeeper to verify the veracity of my information, they don't trust me. Having ascertained the state of the room, they give us a second room on the floor less 1. Definitely cleaner but also with obvious signs of poor maintenance: in the bathroom there is still a bracket on the wall to which no accessory is installed, the glass soap dish is broken, the magnifying mirror also and in the bathroom cabinet the covering of the chipboard of the last bottom shelf is partially skipped. In the room there is a spot of mold on the ceiling and the bars (closed) at the window door give a sense of oppression. There are also some coffee stains on the desk and dust in the courtesy glasses. Given that at least the sheets are clean we decide not to challenge beyond fate by being satisfied. The room is quite quiet, too bad that to make the double they have joined two singles and you could feel the joint of the two mattresses (of good consistency).
The road to the hotel at night is dark because many of the public lamps are burnt out, it is definitely not recommended to walk it. Nearby, except for a large supermarket, an electronics store and a fast food restaurant, there is nothing interesting. The bus stops are more or less close, about 600 meters on foot (Other reviews speak of a shuttle).
The small and pretty sauna and gym show signs of poor maintenance. The sauna lacks a handle to open the door from the inside (the protruding screws remain) the door gasket is half skipped and hangs. While we were relaxing in the sauna, our relaxation is disturbed by foreign boys who, wandering around the hotel unchecked vigorously knocked at the door wanting to enter the local gym. Worried about the noise we opened, I don't think it was our job ... A little more control wouldn't hurt.
Rich and abundant breakfast, the waitress of the room the only one of the staff to show a courteous minimum, greeting both the entrance and the exit.

Well, we were there for 5 days, and every day it was the same limited breakfast. Rooms are very small, cleanliness mediocre. Staff was friendly.
The room were small but clean. The walls were definetely not soundproof. The breakfast was OK. The location is not near center. All in all OK, not great.
I admit that I liked the hotel, my room was minimal, clean and well organized. The shower cubicle was slightly dated, but functional. I liked the colors, the structure and the staff ... as was the dinner. That day I was a loser and I met a substitute waiter who was trying to make up for the lack of a colleague: personally I would have preferred to be informed before what happened, in order not to create embarrassing situations such as "I don't know now I ask" or "I have to see why I am a substitute ". In principle the hotel was nice, but I highly recommend removing the carpet because, as you can see in one of the corridors, if an individual has to put it back in an emergency, it will be stained.

Good hotel, with particular modern and elegant style, abundant breakfast and professional staff, convenient location, sometimes the cleanliness of the rooms left something to be desired but overall cleaning is okay; the rooms are large and bright, perhaps a little less those on the third floor; for a weekend in Rome it's perfect!

The hotel does not deserve 4 stars in any way, the welcome is cold, the lady who is the double of super Nanny at the reception does not smile and is very rude. The rooms are correct but the bedding is at no time worthy of a 4 star. Daily cleaning does not include sweeping the floor or dust and the buffet meal is just awful.
In addition the hotel is very far from the city center, allow a good hour to get there and even those renting a car to take you to the nearest metro.
The only positive point is the breakfast which is very decent and the morning staff very warm and professional.
The hotel room is nice however, the "double" is two single beds pushed together which parted during the night. Not by much, but a noticble amount. The air con does not seem to have any effect on the room temperature. Breakfast was varied to a degree however some of the pasteries were below par. The morning shittle to the metro station did not turn up after at least 30 minutes and my partner and other tourists and I were forced to abandon this plan and head for a bus ourselves. A minor inconvenience however disappointing all the same. The pool has also been taken out of commission for whatever reason.
Surely the quiet strong point, but the rooms are not the greatest comfort.
The downside is definitely the position, because if it is not safe or self is difficult to achieve transport and any other type of service.
Oriental atmospheres, with western contents ... this is how I prefer to define this structure, characterized by design pieces and a truly refined architecture.
The cuisine is of a high standard, the breakfast buffet, with a spectacular capuccino made by the skilled hands of a staff girl (The "thank you" on the capuccino after the compliments pleasantly surprised me ").
The management is very young, so it bodes well .... ALL GOOD.
I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights with my family (including a toddler).
The hotel is far away from the city center. One has to walk for 10 min before reaching the nearest bus stop, (keep in mind the roads are uphill and downhill )that too on the main road with no path for people to walk. This is not your place if you dont have your own vehicle.
There was a male receptionist who was very arrogant and refused to explain how to access public trasport a second time (the first explanation was vague and fast). The next instances we met him, he maintained the irritated rude attitude.The hospitality at the place is quite poor.
Rest of the stay was fine .
The breakfast was monotonous but the quality was ok.
Again, the attitude of the receptionist was exceptionally unwelcoming ,he being the first person you meet in the hotel and this spoils your holiday and rest of the stay at the hotel.
This is not a place I would like to stay again.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. We found it far from the city center, poorly served and quite isolated. On arrival, we noticed the reception which is rather nice but very dark and which opens directly onto the restaurant. The room consisted of a large bed for 2 people and a single bed but it was not very spacious, the same for the bathroom where the shower had an opaque window overlooking the room, really not great for privacy! The paint was not flawless and one of the outlets did not work but it was clean.
The breakfast, buffet style, offers various things that are not overly appetizing; we had scrambled eggs which were cold, we had to ask for hot ones. The staff are quite pleasant, they took care to prepare a bag for us with food for breakfast that we could not take at the hotel on the last day due to our morning flight schedule.
The hotel is sufficient to only stay there overnight but we give it 3 stars and not 4.
In the morning we do not sleep because of the noise of the cleaning trolley ... they slam all over the corridor ... and even outside ... changed the room lacked the TV remote control, the lamps near the bed and the fridge did not work ... for as for education and cleaning very efficient ... beyond the ant that ran around the furniture in the room ... the price seems too high for services ...
Lovely hotel. Difficult to get to as its very off the beaten track and not very well known. Good helpful reception staff in the daytime and nice buffet at night for 15 each. Supermarket nearby 10- 15 minutes walk . Shuttle bus provided to and from nearest metro station for 3 each . Excellent coffee adequate breakfast with very pleasant staff. Nice outdoor unheated pool.
