We had a bad experience with delayed room allotment and then rude behavior from front desk where the guy just took off in middle of conversation saying can t deal with you guys. The manager got involved and promised marriott points to requite the same however no such thing has been delivered. Quite disappointing In hospitality field.

Have stayed here a few times, nice standard Marriott with good service. Nice bar downstairs. Good selection of restaurants and supermarket nearby. Wynwood is a good 20-30 minute walk from there.

Hotel needs a massive renovation. Had to change room cuz of humid sticky carpet and then, in the second room they put me in, the water in the shower came out brown for about 20 seconds. The staff was great and helpful to help me find a better room. Everyone was wearing masks so that was great to feel safe. The lobby and restaurant are ok but the hallways to the rooms and rooms themselves need some renov. I don't think I'll stay here again.

Oh wow! Where should I start? The first night we spent at the Marriott airport and everything went well for the price. We then moved to the Marriott on the bay and what a disaster. I think the GM is MIA at this hotel. 1) toilet leaked all night. 2) There is a big wine stain on the floor or maybe it is blood? 3)The wall paper is falling off the wall. 4) the resturant had a dirty knife sitting on a chair for 2 days it may still be there along along with a dirty napkin on the floor. 5) the pool had no towels and I had to ask for them. 6) The bottom sheet doesn't fit the bed and kept rolling down. 7) The black box not sure what this is? I think it is suppose to be a refrigerator. It made noise all night but our water was still warm so we finally pulled the plug so we could sleep.8) Everyother machine did not work in the gym. I hope your stay will be better then ours.

Price of a room at the NYC Plaza Hotel with motel 6 quality!

4 star hotel? I don't think so. Looks like a ren...

4 star hotel? I don't think so. Looks like a rental that has been beat up from use. Flop house for the cruise lines. If you are expecting a 4 star hotel ....it's not what it is....more like a 3 star if that. Serious back up on the elevators with everyone leaving at once. A mess to navigate through and I don't want to navigate the crowds when I'm not even taking a cruise. Pretty view when you sit on the dirty balcony and the beds were super comfy but 4 star hotel it is not.

We really enjoyed our memorial weekend stay. The rooms were extremely clean and in good order when we arrived. The staff was very cordial and friendly throughout our long weekend. Whenever we needed something they were there to assist and make it happen.

The views from our room were outstanding and the pool area was a real treat. Thanks so much for a wonderful time and memories. We will be back!

We recently had our wedding reception at this Marriott. We were so pleased with the venue from the ballroom to our guest rooms. Bill Halmin, our event manager, was such a pleasure to work with. He truly went above and beyond to please us and accommodate us in any way no matter what our requests were. His professionalism and willingness to provide excellent service made us feel like true VIP guests the entire weekend. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we had the wedding of our dreams!

MOLD!!! My husband and I dreamed about our 25th wedding anniversary for 2 yrs prior to it actually happening. We started planning and saving for our anniversary 2 yrs in advance. We had just been through a lot & were long overdue for a honeymoon, vacation, getaway etc. My husband & I married young & were never able to afford a 1st honeymoon, let alone get time off from work to take one together. We were always busy raising kids etc. Neither of us had ever been to Miami Florida so when my husband and I booked our Carnival Caribbean cruise we decided to come into Miami a few days early & we had narrowed our search down to 4 hotels that we wanted to stay @ & we ended up choosing the Marriott b/c it was advertised so nicely etc. 1st my husband & I flew into Miami, Florida late so we ended up taking a taxi over to the hotel, we get checked in & I was so excited about our room b/c I had told the man on the phone that I wanted a PORT view of MIAMI w/ a Balcony & when I get into the room, I get a view of some condos w/ a quarter view of the Marina that I can only see from the balcony not my room & when I asked the front desk about it they said that there were no balcony rooms w/ a view of the PORT of MIAMI as advertised. this is not how their website portrayed a room w/ a balcony......but any ways, our toilet paper roll literally fell on the floor after 1 use, the TV kept cutting out, etc & we were so extremely tired that we ordered food from a local restaurant that delivered & then we went to bed. The next morning as we were laying in bed, I looked up on the ceiling to the right of where I was laying and I noticed something black on the ceiling so I got up to look @ it & noticed that it was mold & it was all over the ceiling & the walls - I took pictures of it on my camera & I also noticed that there was an area in the ceiling that had been repaired etc. we also swiped it on a kleenex and then packed up our suitcase & went downstairs to complain & request another room. The rooms operator Manager Mark helped us & he offered us another room which we took graciously but we did away with the walk out balcony b/c we really wanted the Port of Miami view. The rooms operations management Mark sent up a wine & a cheese tray which was nice, however it did not make up the fact that we spent the night breathing in mold & wanted the 1st nights room fee removed from our bill which was not done until I went down to the customer service desk the day of checking out after reviewing our bill. We had to complain & disagree w/ the manager about this. Just to find out that the rooms operations manager did not submit a mold compliant regarding that room b/c the Manager for the hotel asked me about it, after going back & forth for a bit, she finally removed the 1st nights bill but I had to emphasize several times how this is a MAJOR health issue I explained to her that I not only have mold on my camera but that I intend to write a letter of complaint to the corporate offices, she then decided to take off the 1st night of our bill, so we went to grab our bags upstairs to check out & head to our carnival cruise but just as we were leaving our 2nd room 2506 @ The Biscayne Bay Marriott just to discover more mold.....I took photos on my camera & we were in a hurry to get out of there, and by this time I was fuming & extremely upset & my husband told me to just wait till I got home to contact corporate, so this is what I have done. This hotel needs to be remodeled, and the fact that we were on our 25th anniversary which was also our 1st honeymoon ever etc this hotel turned out to be a huge disappointment & I wish I would have gone else where! I pray that this company makes this right, and does not hide this review or cover it up w/ paint or bleach. The mold in your rooms are definitely a health issue & should be addressed immediately!

Room was nice, good size with a good view from our room on the 20th floor of the Bay and pool area. Illy store for coffee was nice but expensive, no breakfast included at hotel. Large outdoor area with pool, hot tub, bar, lots of chairs and other activities. There is a downtown shuttle that we have not tried. At least 2 restaurants in the hotel.

Nice rooms looking over the bay, service at the restaurants were not very good, pool is very small, but everything else was great. Our concierge, Marjorie, was the most helpful. Gave us suggestions to great restaurants and places to go, and huge smile and warm hugs.

Amazing hotel, service was great...room service had good food which was very appealing for me because i had to spend a lot of time in my room during my stay! I would love to come back when I m in the area again.

You can hang out in the common areas/living room b...

You can hang out in the common areas/living room before dinner, this is a shared space so you will hang out with others staying, which we didn't mind but you should know that if you want a stay just to yourself. Breakfast is also on a lovely big shared table while dinner is served on separate tables. The snorkeling right by the villa's pier was surprisingly good, lots of different schools of fish! Highly recommended!

Staying here right now for the night and not sure ...

Staying here right now for the night and not sure if the service is out of whack tonite or if my expectations are just too high. Check in was a joke. 3 people checking people in and they should have had at least 5. Super slow too and all employees seemed to have zero concern. I have called At Your Service multiple times to request additional pillows and there is never an answer. They should definitely change the name of that department! Ended up having to call operator and both times they said they would get ahold of them and have the pillows delivered ASAP. There are a lot of hotel choices here and I would not choose this one again.

Location, location, location! This hotel is perfec...

Location, location, location! This hotel is perfectly located in downtown Miami, 15 mins from South Beach and Miami airport. There is a publix, target and many restaurants within walking distance. The view is absolutely breathtaking and the staff were nice and welcoming. The restaurant at the hotel was delicious and sitting on the outside deck at sunset was the perfect ambience.

There were a few people walking around main areas of the property without masks which was concerning, but the hotel does have signage indicating the need for mask wearing - not sure how well it's enforced. Otherwise, everything was perfect for the weekend getaway I desperately needed. I will definitely be back again!

I was in the area to see the Miami Art Show so I walked into the Hotel to get a bit, my friends and I ate at the Catch Grill + Bar restaurant over looking Biscayne Bay. It was nice and relaxing but the menu didn't had many choices. As I walked through the lobby the atmosphere was very business like because the were many men and woman in suits sitting and talking at small tables in the lobby area; also there were many tourist from around the world.

The location is very convenient. Rooms are a good size and clean, many with a good view. Service is good. Sizeable gym. On site restaurant options limited, not great vegan or healthy options. Parking is a bit expensive.

Very dated, rooms are small and there is limited internet connection. The hotel hallways are unclean and the concierge room is tiny for the size of the hotel and it is not well kept or tidy. Checked in and checked out the same day due to lack of response to broken lamp and non working tv.

The room charges us for the internet usage, which we did not even use! They hang up on me when we were trying to call the front desk and tried to solve this issue. That s horrible. You don t charge people whatever you want with no reason!

There for a wedding great staff but it seemed the messed up the number of steak orders and some people got thick steaks while others got slices of jerky. Price of parking was outrageous.

The hotel itself is beautiful and right on the water. The only complaint is the front area; they've got valet and taxis that park up front, as well as people who park and block the only lane in front of the hotel.

Trash service in the front desk. Full of incompetent and rude employees. Pray that you get that one competent individual who works the noon shift. I would give them 0 stars if possible.

Housekeeping was splendid and salvaged the, otherwise, disappointing experience at this hotel.

Parking lot lets you in even if it is already full. Just pay the $34 for valet and hope that your car won't get blemished since service from valet was fast and cordial, and eliminates navigating through that horrid parking garage.

Such a pretty view and decently big rooms. Beautiful view for New Years Eve fireworks. The only complaint I have is the restaurant staff. While in the restaurant for breakfast we were not seated anywhere so we had to seat ourselves and no server came to us until we asked someone to be our server. I understand that there were a lot of people to keep track of but i expected a little bit more. But overall me and my family had a great time at Miami Biscayne Bay and would return again

Nice hotel with a very very good location, friendly staff available to help at all times. Try to stay in one of the bay view rooms which are great. One of the biggest downsides is the expensive parking fee even if you are a hotel guest you have to pay a lot
