I have been a lifetime wearer of Birkenstocks and have always thought of them as some of the most comfortable and durable shoes I've owned. My mom has had the same pair of your sandals for over 20 years and they are still in great shape.



I'm very disappointed in the product I received from your company and am not sure if I will ever buy another pair of shoes from you. I am also no longer a firm believer in the quality of your shoes and of your company. I hope you improve and give people the quality of product they have come to expect from your company

Slow to ship! I ordered shoes for my wife's birthday on a Sunday night thinking that would be plenty of time for them to arrive Saturday for my wife's birthday. Wrong, the order was not processed for shipping until late on Tuesday, didn't ship out until Wednesday, and didn't arrive until the following Tuesday. I am very disappointed and regret not ordering from a company with great shipping service, like Zappos. I emailed their customer service and got no reply.

I appreciated the replacement shoes when I demonstrated uncharacteristically poor craft.

Update: this situation was brought to attention of management and they ultimately came through and gave me a 1 time replacement. Very thankful for this!

Being a long time wearer of Birkenstocks I had grown accustomed to great quality, comfort, and craftsmanship... until now that is.

I have worn a pair of sandals intermittently for the past 6 months and the toe loop came right out of the sole. This seems like a major design malfunction.

While I am disappointed in the breakdown of the shoe, I am even more disappointed in the response from Birkenstock where they simply disregarded the issue and told me how to send off my sandals for repair.

Customer service and quality seem to be lacking greatly.

Worst customer service known to man. They're not even some small indie brand. Birkenstock is a relatively large and well-known company. I've had small companies even deal with issues better than them.
