I had sent out a knife to get repaired about a month ago. I never heard from the company. I had to call twice before receiving any information about my repair and was told they couldn t repair it because they stopped manufacturing one of the parts. They offered me a $250 discount on a $2,500 knife which isn t much of an offer. Now I have two $2,500 knives that would work perfectly fine if they continued to manufacture the part. The company clearly did not think this through after changing the design. The lady on the phone said they manufactured some extra parts but they ran out. Then make more??? This company clearly doesn t care about its loyal customers and customer service. She claims there s no way they can get the part made even though they had it done before. She said they manufacture it there but then switched up and said they didn t?? It s just very sketchy. Bad business. There s no reason for this. They should ve planned ahead and had plenty parts on deck for the original knife instead of scheming people into getting a new one. If they really want people to buy a new one then they need to offer a better incentive for the customers who have the older knives that just need basic repairs they can t provide. The entire casing of the knife is the same and can be recycled. The same way Apple has a trade in service for their devices, they should be able to offer something similar. The owner of this company clearly doesn t care about the loyalty of their customers and doing right by them.
