Bardem is located in Shahbagh, Dhaka, which is known as the Bardem Hospital. Founded in 1980 by Dr. Mohammad Ibrahim, these hospitals and organizations provide free diabetic treatment to diabetic patients in Bangladesh. This is the Bangladesh Diabetic Association and the head office.

It is a 15-storey building in Shahbagh. It has 542 seats, 80 of which are free for poor patients. Every day 2500 patients take treatment. It is one of the largest hospitals in Bangladesh and there is the most modern diagnostic lab. In addition to diabetic treatment, all types of and complex and disorderly diseases and therapies are here.

It has been since 1986. come. M. U. Diploma, M Phil, PhD, M.D., etc. are being taught here.

Bardem General Hospital is a completely private hospital established in Shahbag, Dhaka, Bangladesh for the free treatment of diabetics. It is located on the other side of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University. The founder of the hospital is Dr. Mohammad Ibrahim. It is currently managed by the Bangladesh Diabetic Association. The head office of Bangladesh Diabetic Association is also located here. In February 1956, Bangladesh Diabetic Association (then renamed as Pakistan Diabetic Association) was formed. Bangladesh Diabetic Association is a separate organization. During the Pakistan period, some land of the association was given for a hospital in Segunbagicha. Official activities started in 1970. In 1982, Bardem became a partner of the World Health Organization in developing community-based programs to prevent and control diabetes. This is the first such organization outside Europe. Since 197 B. S. M. U.S. Under this, he has been teaching on Diploma, M.Phil, Ph.D., M.D. etc. Professor Muhammad Ibrahim made a chamber in the lower house of his house in Dhaka's Segunbagicha to use the association. At home, he started outpatient department for diabetes. In 1989, Dr. The Diabetes Complex in Shahbag was named 'Ibrahim Memorial Diabetes Center' in memory of Mohammad Ibrahim. In 2013, Bardem-2 was launched in Segunbagicha. The hospital has recently been renamed "Bardem General Hospital" to change the public perception that diabetes is the only treatment.

Good for diabetic patients. Sometimes it is getting crowd and could not manage to sit somewhere. Waiting space need to improve. wash rooms are not clean. pathological center need to be more clean and hygienic. There are few intermediary people who are not related to authorities trying to take the chance from the people from rural area. They need to remove. Canteen is somewhat ok but cleanliness is an issue.

Alhamdulillah, the management of the hospital is very orderly.
As soon as you enter the hospital, you will be fascinated by its pleasant environment.
There is a long lake behind the hospital where you can swim occasionally if you want.
There is nothing here compared to the big notes that have to be counted only as the visitor's fee when it comes to getting medical services in private clinics.
Fees for various tests ranging from serial fees are very meager.

I am admitted with the patient. Full of insects. I can't sleep because of the bugs, the patient's condition is worse.
The use of staff here is also very bad. Everything from medicine to the price is high. Everything is expensive but the quality of service is low.

From now on i will rate it as one of the worst hospital in Bangladesh.I request you all not to admit patient in BIRDEM if you have stay with the patient at night. Because there are only one bed which is only for the patient. So , if one family member or relative have to stay with him they will not get any bed. Maybe there will be one chair that is so small to spend a night. Temperature outside is 20 degree celsius at this moment and the most illogical part is they are not allowing any pillows , any bed sheet or extra blanket which they are unable to provide. They are not trying to understand it even that it is very hard to stay awake in this winter night like this. we talked to them about this and they are very rude and acting like it is not our duty. Maybe they have some good renowned doctors but the inside management body is worse. a hospital management body should not employ inhuman people. such a sick mentality. I doubt people who reviewed this hospital.

This hospital is usually very good for diabetic patients, but there are treatments for heart disease and eye disease. There are three big buildings, each building has a lift lift
# It is very difficult to park the car. I went one day to see a patient with my car, but it was a lot of trouble for me to park my car because there were lots of people in the park parking space and there was no vacancy available.
There is a system that can be inserted into the wheel chair as it is a hospital
# Blood bank. I went there to donate blood there. The cabin is not easily available
# Medical costs are comparatively low

Better treatment here. Top class specialists treat here but the treatment cost is so high.

The nurses attending the patient was really nice, which is an exception in Bangladesh. Room was clean. Food was delivered covered with plastic food wrapper. Not sure about the cost yet

It is a general hospital.. People thinks that it is only for diabetes patients.. But it is not only for diabetes patients but also for others.. But it ia true that it is the best hospital for the diabetes patients in Bangladesh.. My mother used to admit here several times.. She also got dialysis from here.. The service of that hospital is good. Specially I like the discipline of the hospital management... Almost all kind of departments are available here. My wife is also a doctor of this hospital.

The test was done on 18/02/2021 at 12:30 pm, I was told to come at 5 pm and get all the reports because the report has already been prepared. I haven't received the report of 1 test yet..because I found out that they haven't finished the test yet..they did the test after I left and told me to wait for 45 minutes ..... I mean seriously ??
I can't see a doctor for 1 report..and I had a horrible experience yesterday..a hospital staff didn't even say where the doctor's chambers are..they don't listen when they talk..it's a bad situation It is very difficult to get the service by entering here .. Very bad counter management .. These have happened to me .. I hope the authorities will be kind about these ..

Birdem General Hospital, the only specialized hospital for the treatment of innumerable Diabetic patients of the country was officially established in 1989 as a result of an entirely private enterprise.

This extra ordinary hospital is located to the East of Bangabondhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University(BSMMU), to the West of the famous Dhaka Club and just at the East-North corner of Shahbag circle; it stands alongside to the South of the National Broadcasting Authority building.

This hospital is comprised of three multi-storied buildings. There are a 5 storied building in the middle, a 16 storied building on the North side and an 8 storied building on the South side. There are a number of West-facing entrances including the main gate to enter into the building. Each building also has adequate number of lifts.

This hospital has internal and outer patients treatment systems. For primary detection of Diabetes, first, patients have to collect tickets at a fixed price from the available counters situated on the South side of the middle building; simultaneously they have to collect test tubes and boxes and fill them up with the sample of their stool and urine going inside any one of the toilets standing in a row; then they have to submit these samples to a certain room and receive the reports on the due date; the next procedure is to collect History book and ID card from the hospital authority and take the next steps for proper treatment accordingly.

A patient can get admitted into the hospital after considering the situation of his/her disease based upon the concerned doctor s advice. Besides, this hospital has a wide reputation as a very reliable centre for the treatments of patients who have Diabetes, heart disease or eye disease.

There is a Blood Bank beside the stair of the first floor of the Outer Department of the hospital. If you need blood, you have to contact at the Emergency Department; according to their instruction, you have to go to the blood bank; here, you can buy blood if your required Blood group is available; the price is not same for all groups. Besides, you can manage blood instantly if you can manage a donor.

There are chambers of Specialist doctors for 11 diseases in this hospital. These chambers are situated on the first floor of the South side building.

We had the worst experience. The Docror want ri make profit by sending patient to CCU. But when the worst, inexperience doctor saw patient condition is little down, they force the patient guardian immediately to take discharge & shift to another hospital. It becomes the worst hospital now. Take out door service but don't get admitted.
