Lots to see - our one year old was enthralled by the toucan, particularly! We also liked the farm and the people who worked there were very knowledgeable and able to answer a question I had about the chickens.

Didn't experience the restaurant, so can't comment but the aquarium did not seem to have the murky glass that people have previously complained about when we went so we could see all the fish!

I can see that some of the cages are looking a little bare (those older, original ones, perhaps?) but for the majority of birds there there had clearly been a good effort to build a stimulating environment.

We went at the end of the summer season so everything was open, which probably does help!

Dated and in need of revamp. Dirty, especially aquarium. Entrance fee is very reasonable compared to other similar attractions, maybe a small increase would help get this place up and together.

A really nice, relaxed place to visit. The birds are well cared for and Birdworld has invested heavily in the last couple of years to update and keep the place fresh.
Lasted visited a few weeks ago immediately after they reopened following lockdown.
They've done a great job and managed to keep the place free roaming for visitors despite implementing social distance rules. Shame we couldn't see the aquarium, but we will be able to again soon.

Ideal for youngsters e.g. under 7, but beyond that no wonder factor. Sorry, but you need eagles, vultures and owl's (big European ones). Staff were great, but site generally lacking. There's a (seasonal) shortcut to the garden centre which has a more appealing food court. If you have grandchildren, fine.

Excellent day out, plenty to keep you entertained for the full day. Fodd and drink a little pricy but all for a good cause, and plenty of picnic spots if you want to take your own. The events can be a little crowded so get there early or go of peak.

Expensive for a park that's really quite run down. The newer parts are lovely but some of it hasn't changed in at least 30 years and could really do with a refresh. Definitely don't eat in the cafe, it's tired and not particularly clean. Having said that I've given three stars because all the people working there were very friendly and helpful

Really enjoyed my visit, so did the kids. It was great getting to throw the feed in and watching the birds eat. Food on offer was good, plenty to choose from. The farm joined on was amazing, you could get really close to the animals. I only wish there was a way to interact with some of the birds more, maybe there is during peak season

Took my 2year old to visit Santa, walk up to see Santa was very nice but the gift for a 0-2year old so disappointing - a rattle for a 2year old.. A little more effort needed and would be worth the money. Cafe - so tired looking, staff well apart from the Christmas hats not looking festive, do they know how to smile?? We didnt use our tickets to go around Birdworld, saving those for another day.

This was great, we went compleatly off season and quite late and the staff were super accommodating. Great place for a visit, better if not raining, but it was off and on when we were there and it was still good.
We enjoyed the meeting the animals with our son and the owl talk too (staff very knowledgeable). Just note if the weather has been wet for a while, best to take propper footware, especially for the farm bit!

We had a lovely day out with our 2 year old recently. A great space to safely let him run around and spot all the animals. Lots of animals to spot. Despite the great weather, the park wasnt busy on Saturday.

Park is a bit aged and there isnt a lot of information to read with each animal, hence 4 stars.

Great place to kill a few hours, my daughter is 2, I thought she'd get bored after the second bird but she absolutely loved it. We hired the buggy which really helped because she could drive it to the enclosure and get out and see the bird then drive the next one etc etc.

Lovely day out.

Lovely day out.

Bird world was a great day out for all of the family. We had 4 adults, one that needed a scooter for mobility and 4 kids, one of which was in a pushchair. Bird good was available to purchase at the entry counter for a small cost. The disabled entry fee included one free carer space as well which was great. They had very good disabled and pushchair friendly access throughout the park all except the area for the bird flying show where the scooter had to be left outside as It was unable to get over the bump (the pushchair made It in).It has a time table as you enter to give you all the show times and locations of the shows. This was NFC downloadable. The shows were good, informative and interesting to watch. There was something for everyone here, of course lots of beautiful birds to look at. The older kids loved the shows, the younger kids not so much as their attention span just didn't last long enough. They have a few big parks throughout birdworld. A couple were designed for older children but there was also one for slightly younger children 5/6yr olds and then one in the farm that is free to go in to was a park for really young kids (this is the one my 2yr old went on). It was basic with only a climbing frame but enough to burn off some energy. The farm was a lovely addition that I was not expecting. It allows you to walk amongst birds such as turkeys. They were all friendly and it gave the kids a great opportunity to view them up close and possibly feel them. There were pigs, raindeer, rabbits, chinchilla, mice, lots of other animals too. On the way out it encourages hand washing and provides clean sinks with soap, water and blow driers. Around the park there were places to buy food or ice creams or drinks including hot drinks if needed. Not to sure on costs because we took a picnic. There was plenty of space for a picnic blanket and plenty of picnic tables around. It did rain whilst we were here. Luckily we did find shelter under a bird watch station but there was virtually no sheltered areas so going if you're going on a rainy day, pack a rain coat. As part of your ticket cost, you also gained entry to the aquarium area. Lots of different aquatic species to look at and a nice change from bird world and great that it's included in your ticket price. Staff were friendly and the Lady doing the shows was great.

The only improvement I would make would be to have an induction loop system for hearing aids because hearing the lady doing the shows was a challenge (being partially deaf and wearing hearing aids myself would have really benefited).

Everyone of different ages and mobility really enjoyed their day out. Definately will be going back when my two kids are a little older. Fab day out and well worth the money as you can spend all day here.

Fantastic! We have an 18-month old and she had a great time. We spent a good 2.5 hours there, which is a long time with a toddler! It seemed really good value for money with the amount of animals you get to see and they are really well looked after.

All birds well looked after. Site was very clean and lots of toilets across the site. Lots of places to have picnics. We had hotdogs and chips which their was a wait for. They were not great but not the worst I've had. Gift shop was ok with lots of variety would come back again

A lovely place to go with family and friends lots of birds to look at I really liked the eagles and parrots they also have a lovely "sea world" which has a number of fish and even crocodiles. The axolotl are soooo cute. They also, every so often have petting times where you can pet animals like Guinea pigs mice and rabbits. You can always pet the lams. They also have a pet store where you can buy a lamb.

Fantastic place to visit. Our kids loved it and so did we. All the animals looked really healthy and looked after. This isn't the usual animal looking bored in the corner of a cage, all the birds were active and inquesitive enough to interact with you. The staff are all Friendly and have covered all covid requirements.
