Have lunch today at Daphne in the Kas, what a nice place this is! Beautiful decor and varied menu, all just a little different than usual. The atmosphere is cozy and quiet, I think (especially with good weather) a good location to go with children, because of the play and discovery place next to the greenhouse.

Great place in Vathorst to have a nice cup of coffee, relax with a glass of wine or eat pure food.

Unfortunately not such a success for us. Our children are too small and they kept running towards water. We couldn't calm down. Thought it was also very pricey. I believe it was 1.50 a lot of lemonade for the children.

On the advice of others, have lunch at Daphne's in the greenhouse! Incredibly cozy and a top service. They were nice to us but also great to my daughter. And then the lunch was also delicious! Highly recommended for those who want to chill out. The crockery used also looks beautiful. Are nice things that give an extra when serving! Love to come again in the spring that we can also enjoy the outdoors!

Super cozy place with nice seats and nice music. Always like to meet here with a friend from outside Amersfoort, which is also handy for her. :-) Lunch here always delicious and nowadays they also have a delicious vegan burger on the menu! So nice!

You will find this nice restaurant in the middle of the Vathorst district. It is a greenhouse where you can sit inside. There is also a nice terrace where the children can play. Tried both lunch and dinner here. Very tasty!! We recommend the pulled pork.

The prices are really too much for a catering facility in Vathorst. (Absolutely Amsterdam prices) What I find the worst is that there is little customer friendliness of the owner. The young waitresses are really nice but were constantly pushed by the owner to ask if we wanted a drink again, which felt uncomfortable for both parties. We also got a very unwelcome feeling. But the worst I found was that after spending 28 on refreshments and pie, I had to pay money for a glass of tap water. Really antisocial! She did not want to take it off the bill, struck a sour tone, and I did not stop nagging as I was with a friend and I felt very uncomfortable to stand firm. I have tipped this way while those waitresses actually deserve to tip, but that in this case holds the owner in her pocket. That is the drop for me. In short: much too high prices, grumpy owner and customer unfriendly. Very unfortunate because the look & feel is fine. And unfortunately there are always worse experiences with them and that is what he is always saying "I will not come because they are not customer friendly or too expensive or she is grumpy". Sadly. I would say do something about it, do not be defensive but pick it up. Building up a reputation requires a lot more energy than once it has been completed.

It is open until 4 PM on Sundays (it was 3:10 PM) so plenty of time I thought.
But after completing the order, we were only shown when paying that ordering was not possible.
Still made the effort to drive there.

For years my favorite place in Amersfoort for lunch, drinks, coffee and work. Delicious, tasty and surprising dishes. The best Latte in the area. Nice location in both summer and winter.

Top place for (young) children. Please note that when the sun shines it can be quite busy. Friendly service, nice lunch menu and good location.

Good food, but at 12 o'clock 1 sandwich and an egg salad was forgotten. Then that is "compensated" by paying 1 tea less. Unfortunately. Another pity was that our 9-month-old baby was not allowed to eat her own half sandwich. The argument was that there was enough to buy for the children. Sorry, but I am going to pay 3.5 for a sandwich sandwich that she eats half of. So all in all good food, but a sour aftertaste to this visit.

Eaten here for the first time today, but often passed by. A warm welcome and very friendly staff. I really liked the concept; 15 pp for three sandwiches with a choice of many different fillings, a soup and something sweet for afterwards. It was very tasty and the smoothie is also recommended. Definitely worth repeating, we will come back here more often.

Just been here for lunch for the first time between appointments. I didn't know the concept was that you can only order a lunch plate with sandwiches, soup and sweet. That was too much for me, so I asked if I could order one of the separate additions on the menu (quiche) with a cup of coffee. That couldn't be! So I just left again. It was not very full, so it was not like I would take the place of a customer who would order the shelf. It seems a shame to lose paying customers like that.

I worked there with colleagues on an island with the garden team. I now find it a very nice place. a lot of change
