Absolutely avoidable. Food is reasonable but the service is dramatic.

We were there on a beautiful Sunday. It was busy there. Price quality ratio was a bit disappointing. And have to wait a long time for our order 1'5 hours. Must add that we were a group of 12 people. But there were other guests who found it too long and they left without ordering anything. Unfortunately, no next time for me.

Restaurant with lovely terrace and super view over the Kaag. Nice coffee and very nice service.

Despite the island being full of music festival participants we had a very nice lunch. Unhurried and our server was excellent explaining the menu in English.

Little more expensive and we waited, but the waiter brought us some balls filled with tasty sauce, so overall nice.

We had the warmest welcome from Memo and outstanding food and service. Take his wine suggestions! He taught us a wonderful Pino Grigio. The asparagus soup was light and delicious. Two of us had fish, one had spare ribs, one had chicken satay--everything was delicious and beautifully presented. (See photos) We are traveling with LeBoat and stayed two nights at the marina. Wonderful harbormaster, terrific spot. Highly recommend!

Getting lost on our bikes turned into a really lovely evening at Benjamin's. First we took a wee ferry to cross the canal, only to realise that the next connection to the mainland wasn't operating yet. But such a beautiful view and the smell of delicious ribs lured us in... The staff was very friendly and attentive, we felt totally comfortable and had a very tasty meal with well selected wines. Don't know about you but we'll certainly be back soon!

Taste fine, service friendly but not good value for money. Tasting 13.50 for 4 slices of sausage with small soup, a joke. Eaten with 6 people and when serving, skip 1. I had finished my food when the chips and salad were served as well as the last person at the table, outrageous. Chef walks around with rancid packaging of fish and meat to show that it is fresh. And to top it all off, just pay the main prize. Never again.

Beautiful place, nice and relaxed on the water. Friendly and correct service. I personally thought coffee was disappointing, not too strong and not too deep. Therefore, asterisk less .....

Operation was a drama, lost order, waited more than an hour for 5 bouncers and a hamburger and received no form of apology. Food quality was ok but not special. (30th of April)

With Benjamin it is wonderful to enjoy the water. A great menu and a good terrace right on the Kagerplassen. We like to come here and can absolutely recommend this restaurant for both lunch and dinner.

Difficult to write a review for Benjamin. The location and the reataurant itself are great, but the service is very poor. If you indicate in the order that the citizen must be well done due to pregnancy and the cook comes to bring two citizens with the message that he no longer knows which is well done, then something goes wrong. When cutting, we saw that both burgers were still half raw, so both of them were sent back. This was solved well, but the fries were only baked once instead of just throwing a fresh portion into the fryer. A few adjustments and it can become a hit. It is great to lay out and do a cup of coffee!

Perfect spot on the water. Great to moor for lunch or dinner, or just a cup of coffee ... or something else. Inside or outside. Tidy ambiance with friendly service.

We waited 45 minutes for 2 salads and a sea bream. The salads were topped with a fatty dressing from a bottle, the sea bream was dry and broken. The desserts were so unimaginative that we didn't even try them.

Well a new discovery. Class restaurant, with beautiful views and very good food. Landed in the right place on this island, it is becoming increasingly culinary here!

After half an hour of waiting we were helped (after we went in to ask if our order could be taken). After 20 minutes, the lukewarm wheat beer arrived. However, this was half of the order. After 2 inquiries our jug of water came. We have now been waiting for our bitter garnish for an hour. After an hour and a half it finally came. When I said something about this during checkout, I was snubbed and told I could afford all or nothing. I couldn't even answer if I was already blundered out of the case. So nice and free. For the rest a ball tent

Fantastic location. Too bad there is insufficient service and the kitchen is understaffed. Waiting time unacceptable.

Delicious eaten especially the bread boards with fish and Italian dishes

Had lunch today at this restaurant. Food was nice, but they did not listen carefully what bread you wanted. Apologies for this. Got glass of water for taking medicine. Hop a carafe calculated immediately. I know the difference between a glass or carafe. Ordered our second drink. Not received after half an hour and then let it sit. Are we going back? Maybe for coffee.

The man who worked there was cranky, poured the wine glasses very wildly, wine glass almost fell over and made it very difficult for us to eat

The place is beautiful, the food good, but it is amazing that the time before you can actually eat something on a full terrace is over an hour. On a sunny day off, you expect the kitchen and staff to be adapted to the number of guests you can receive. Especially given the solid prices. But that seems to go wrong in practice. The free long wait drink makes up for it a bit, but remains a drawback on busy days.

Great place with a beautiful terrace overlooking the water. Lawn in front of it and therefore some play area for children. The ministry knew very little and had to ask 1 person everything. We ordered an appetizer because of the avocado. However, this was missing. The cook said it was gone, choose something else ... That was crazy. The chips then chosen never came. Satay was not bad, salad also good portion, fish stew satisfactorily, not clear which side dishes belonged to whom, but good. Friendly staff and clean toilet. Quite the price, but hey, that view ...

Good ambiance. Parking is a problem. Nice terrace overlooking the water where you can lounge all day in the sun and wind. Food is good.

I recently had a party here from friends. The restaurant is not open in the winter so we cannot eat now but I think it is highly recommended to have a party here in the winter. Nice service, everything arranged perfectly. And that view ...... wow! We will definitely be back this summer!
