If you've never experienced a 'live' show, then you're really missing out! Especially when there is a place locally, such as Slidell Little Theatre, that makes each play experience a wonderful one! The time couldn't be better spent! For those 2 or so hours are more enriching than any electronics you may have! (i.e. cell phones an such!) Believe me, time well spent!

The play was in their smaller theater. The seats are very uncomfortable compared to the seats in the main theater. The acoustics are not as good as well. The play itself was not very entertaining and made worse by adlibbed left wing political jokes. The only saving grace was the actors were fabulous. They had beautiful voices for the musical numbers.
Slidell Little Theater had previously produced some incredible performances. However, their last two shows have been very dissatisfying.

We went to see the Adam's family play on 12 May. We were appalled by the cursing done by the actors. Even the "s" word was used by the grandma. There were young children in the audience! Plugsly was smoking a cigarette. There were a couple of the female actors barely dressed. There was no warning on the program about possible offensive topics or words used. We didn't stay for the second part. This was not a family play and if the lack of professionalism in this play is don't during there other plays, I recommend not going to any of them.

What a neat little joint. Went for the Rocky Horror Show and it was a nifty show. The staff was playful, the cocktails added a nice touch to the waiting, clean bathrooms are a plus. I wasn't given my goody bag that we paid for but that's okay, it didn't ruin the evening.the parking lot was odd but other than that I would return next time I'm in the area.

It reminds me of a warehouse that has been transformed into a theater for plays. The place was clean and the staff is friendly and the place is kind of small I would say it holds less than 200 people or thereabouts. The concession stand was pretty good. I bought a Coke a cup of coffee and a Twix bar for under $5. They also sold alcoholic beverages. It was practically a mini bar but it had Abita Amber Michelob Ultra Blue Moon Budweiser and a few other specialty beers well as hard liquor and they were all reasonably priced I believe. Bathrooms were clean. it's a good place for kids plays.

This was my first experience here, I was grateful for theater chairs that were comfortable. The play Sister Act was very enjoyable! This was also my first theater experience I had seen some school plays but that was it. So I found it enjoyable to see all the human error while seeing their passion to do well. I will definitely consider going again.

This theater is a gem. Went here for the first time with one of my kids on a school field trip. I did not know what to expect nor have I been a big fan of theater. And come to find out it was a musical and I hate musicals. Well I was impressed and enjoyed " The Trial of the Big Bad Wolfe". My kids whole class enjoyed it. I will be back.

I have seen plays at Slidell Little Theater many times. Unfortunately ELF fails in all categories for our family. Price even at 20 adult and 17.50 child too expensive for the entertainment value of the show. Music and laughter comedic quality very poor. Our kids were so bored and disenchanted and so were the adults as well. The decor and sets were uninspiring and nothing special. Its almost like lets just put together a Christmas play and make money with little preparation or care. We truly felt short changed and wanted to leave early the 2 hours plus was pure torture. Actors and Directors set designers should be ashamed.

The Slidell Little Theater has for years been entertaining families. This play not representative of other plays I have seen. Save you re money if this is how the theater is trending I may not be back. Whats happened I do not know but maybe administrators should freshen up those who control productions and play selection. A christmas play should delight and thrill. Besides boredom I also did not appreciate the comments promoting gay lifestyle ie You want to be my Boyfriend I already have one from one Male to another. While not a deal breaker for us. I did not think I should be concerned about sexual comments in a Christmas play. I obviously need to pay better attention. I did not look for rating of this play.

Save you re money our kids were so unhappy.

Great showing this weekend of Little Shop of Horrors. Nice theater with talented cast and crew. Concessions and a small bar. Clean bathrooms and friendly staff. I'm actually looking forward to the next show!

The theater is a wonderful place. The seating is a bit aged, but still very comfortable. The lighting and stage are well manned and maintained.
The productions are fantastic! The casts pour their heart and souls into each part. Support local arts and stop in for a play/musical/etc.

From an outside POV, the theatre might seem like an exciting place to go see a show. To a point, that statement is true. Although, deep down the theatre is very unprofessional. This theatre is very toxic due to people on staff and people running shows. A lot of the people on staff are hypocritical and do not even follow their own rules. If you were thinking about letting your kid audition for a main-stage show, think again. For there are many other places willing to let your child's creative side expand instead of being limited to. Sorry to the few good people at the theatre, but even you all know the truth.
