I am a retired chef. I wanted to stay with food and people. This is a fabulous part time job. You bid for the jobs you want to work. Great people and great pay. Highly recommend this who like to work as your own boss.

Do not apply here. They avoid assisting people at all cost. If you were to call right now your most likely not going to get an answer. Joe Marshall turns simple tasks into dimwitted actions. I asked him to explain what materials I needed for the demo and he waits till after the date of the demo to check in with me. Who does that?

Worked for BOP last year . This was a joke. The booking agents are so nasty and irresponsible I dont' even know how they run a business with those types of managers. They book then unbook then rebook; then book at the last minute after you bid a job weeks ago. I never knew when I would be booked for something at the last minute. Finally I got so annoyed with all the ridiculously long, belabored and bossy emails after I was not paid correctly on my out of pocket receipts for products. These people know I didn't have a purchasing card as an IC and they knew I was out of pocket on every event. Sometimes the events have you out of pocket for $40 on one event (ex.: pizza at $5 each on a Sunday at Walmart). Then after being out of pocket you have to wait a month or 5 weeks for reimbursement with your regular payroll. I finally complained about the retarded methods used by booking agents and was unbooked my whole calendar of events! There is nobody to complain to when you have a problem and all booking agents are in alignment with each other so getting someone reprimanded for doing a crappy job gets you absolutely nowhere. I do events now for a couple other companies that are national and I have nearly zero brain cell reduction, plus I can keep my calendar better and not have my life turned upside down from being booked at the last day or two before an event, and I do clinicals on the side and take events when I am not busy doing bigger-ticket appointments. Good riddance, Big Orange. Also the review by B. Bee and L. Banks below are 110% true.

You will have some good event coordinators from this company and you will have some bad ones. The bad ones are the ones that are harder to contact as needed. For the most part, this is a good job if you willing to learn about your products in advance and are a self starter. Also, more importantly, if you are willing to WAIT A MONTH TO RECEIVE YOUR PAYCHECK. There are way better event specialist jobs out there (better companies).

I work for another marketing company, and Big Orange offers assistance for days where we don't have enough people performing demos. These representatives never show up, and we never get so much as a phone call explaining why. This company is incompetent

This is for all of you out there who doubt Big Orange. I've worked with this Company steadily for over a year now and I've been paid consistently for each event (and I've worked A LOT of events). The entire staff will "bend over backwards" to help you make your events a success. If ive had issues of any kind, theyre always willing to help. My question too all of you doubters is this. Have you given them a chance???

Enjoyed working for them as a Brand Ambassador. When they stopped offering gigs in SE Georgia and Southern parts of South Carolina they should have sent an email to their loyal Ambassadors with an explanation , instead of just disappearing and not returning emails and phone call; Otherwise it was very rewarding and enjoyable. Thank God I was not relaying on them for my total source of income.

The Booking Agents are all AMAZING!. I am currently not working and picking up events to work and they have helped me in every which way. Its alot of fun as well. If you think it's just standing there. You need to be outgoing and professional and provide stellar customer service for the brand you are representing. Which I love because I am a people/public person! Thanks Big Orange

I have worked events for this company when credit card issued had a problem used my own and was reimbursed. I was aware of the wait for payment so it was not a problem. Had to reschedule an event and Jennifer was great about it! Good people to work with and the various events makes it fun. The extra income is appreciated .

I'm not liking this company! After you apply for a job, it takes them forever to confirm that you are actually booked. Then they cancel the job 2 days before it is supposed to start. So far they have cancelled 3 out of 5 jobs I have been booked for. It's rediculous!

This company wasted my time and it kept sending me emails about their opportunities but I notice when I tried to sign up for the opportunity they wouldn't let me sign up for it. I tried to unsubscribe so they won't send me anymore emails about the opportunities but they still keep sending me emails I'm tired of it. This company is a spam!

Give them the benefit via referral. Nope. Actual signup and access was cumbersome next to ridiculous. Too many bugs that didn't save my info, nor filter search results even after refreshing the page, and repeat booted or signed out while job bidding, and even that part was taxing. Selected different local gigs, only to receive numerous conflicting emails that I'd been booked, and then I wasn't, and then I was again.... followed by idiot emails asking for my paperwork and booking feedback, when I hadn't worked the gig. They're literally the dollar-store of event marketing companies. Read the numerous other complaints/reviews against them. All are accurate. Gave them the benefit... they lost.

Be careful with this company had to fight for money that I worked for, when it was agreed upon to do a job and agreed on the money for the day in writing. They say in there e-mail if you don't show up for an event we will dock your next assignment, but when you work they don't always want to pay up. I finally wrote to the President of the company and got a call that they were going to pay me what was owed and then the cut me from there services for fighting for my money.

DON'T WORK FOR THESE HUSTLERS. They are fraudulent and will do everything in their power to NOT PAY YOU in the agreed upon time frame. Their business model must be built on the premise that product demo people will forget about the work they performed on the company's behalf.
I wonder if Target, Walgreens and other retailers know how big of a sham company this is??

This company is complete garbage. Have people do events and they don't tell them how to do it. Had an issue with a receipt and forget about it. They sent me a card and then had me do a conference call for one event and then they cancelled the event. They are awful to work with and will send you wherever to fend for yourself and deal with issues completely on your own. Had me pick up an event kit and don't reimburse me for my time. Would not recommend unless you want to be hasseled over them paying you. What a joke.

I have done numerous events for this company. They are great to work with. I have never had any issues with getting paid. Anytime I have questions regarding an event, such as product, times, pay, I am always able to reach my booking agent. I work full time and do these jobs on the weekends. They are fun and great pay! I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to earn extra money and a fun way to earn it!
