Great staff, warm welcome, nice cafe and nice cuppa coffee.

When I first moved in they were OK now the only time you hear from them is if you are in arrears or the rent has changed or a gas service is due, it took them ages to fix the hole in my celling a few years ago and then had the balls to accuse me of making it, when it was waste water and the ceiling was already bowing and then they turned up to a meeting I had with local authority and reported information that was irrelevant as the person had not been in my home for at least a year, but in some cases when I have reported issues in the home they have acted quickly and professionally

Incompetent, underhand, and vile people.

Unable to deal with complaints sufficiently even when being escalated through every stage of their internal policy and the current CEO Alan Brunt is a complete waste of space; unsympathetic, doesn't care, and is only open to hearing positive experiences of Bron Afon, which are very few and far between.

Their Oncall manager turned up drunk to an emergency flood due to their contractors not making sure the top floor flat was watertight during the Xmas holidays, so as a result, all flats underneath suffered flooding , and they STILL haven't resolved the ongoing issues since Dec 2017.

Each contractor has failed to complete the major works onsite and yet they are still trying to screw the private leaseholders for several thousand pounds each, and when you point out their failings, they then accuse you of being uncivil which is then used as their excuse to end communication, they are gutless criminals.

Avoid at all costs, absolute scum and our complaint is now with the housing ombudsman.

Great staff, very helpful and they give 100% to everyone.

An important part of the community who provide more than housing but actually set out to improve the lives of it's residents.

I have just phoned to say Imy thermostat for heating not working to be told not an emergency as I have an eletric fire never mind child withasthma and ill husband. Blood disgraceful. I will be making a complaint.

not at all happy with the response that you get when you given a query the very quick to come to you when you are the problem but when you've got the problem they pass the buck and ignore what needs to be done.

Myself, and a number of other residents in Llanyrafon, have been trying to get some work done by Bron Afon for months now with no commitment being provided at all. The work involves the maintenance of trees that require trimming back as they are putting our houses at risk. Multiple sources of communication has been tried from emails, letters, messenger communication and phone calls. None have resulted in any work being undertaken. There has been a visit to assess the work but nothing has come from it. Very poor performance...

The only time u seem to get their full attention is if u want to talk about paying extra rent, it's all they ever want to talk about.
& I have never not once got their live chat to work, & they say its the quickest & easiest way to contact them?
Oh, & if u need home insurance from them atm don't bother they can't do it, because they are all STILL working from home & can't produce a form that's needed..wonder what else u need a form for that's now impossible. You would think this would all be possible for them to sort online, seems not.

My experience of bron afon is continually poor. I am giving them one star as that is the lowest possible - if I could I 'd give them none. I have power of attorney for my dad who lives in rumney walk. There used to be 3 trees in the square outside his home. Bron afon removed them. My dad complained and BA said they would be replaced by wooden flower "troughs" and planted with flowers. Instead they put ugly concrete squares bolted together and didn't plant anything. They are worse than the nothing they originally did. They are now overgrown with weeds. BA have trespassed into my dads garden and cut down a tree. They have recently entered a communal garden and demolished his brick enclosure for his bin. They didn't ask and didn't tell him, they just did it. This is vandalism and probably criminal. 3 years ago when my mum was alive, with dementia and blind in one eye her social worker asked them to paint white edges on the steps to make it safer. They never got round to it and she died a year later. It's still not done. A couple of weeks ago my dad received a threatening letter saying he had to change his door and would have to pay - he also had to act immediately or risk losing his home. We complained immediately but it took 2 weeks for a response - we have also asked them not to include my mothers name in the letters as it upsets my dad. They still include her name. The last time was Friday when they wrote to them both - this time saying they were going to do some essential repairs - possibly to address an earlier bodged job. It is written in the familiar demanding style - their behaviour is outrageous. They are arrogant, incompetent and show contempt for residents. I have more examples but this will do for now.

Community liason is a joke the answer is always negative

Not happy I put in a complaint about the service we experienced with Bron Afon when my girlfriend was pregnant at the time. And now they are lying about it.

Refuses to fix a smashed window which was caused by the wind. Owner of the home is disabled and can just about move. The guy on the phone said "I'm sorry, we cannot make this as an emergency, we can do it in about 2 or 3 weeks time?". Actual waste of space

Wosrt housing association ive ever rented off. Poor workmanship had a safety handrail in we troom stuck with mastic not 1 screw holding it secure to the wall. If i could give a zero star i would

Most staff very helpful but some (behind front desk) could smile more often

Phoned bron afon up today about ap waters that they were doing nothing to the carpark again they got it sorted quickly thanks

The food was not very good and there was a long wait to just get a roll on a paper plate and everything including your desert was put on the same plate not up to much at all real shame.

No customer service and still didn't get anything resolved

Parking was a bit of a nightmare. I had appointment 9am and all spaces in car park had gone by the time I arrived at 8.35am, so perhaps they should look to keep a section of car park for visitors as obviously the car park is filled with staff parking. I did manage to park out on the main street where the overflow seemed to be.

Poor sign posts so location hard to find. No parking extremely overcrowded car parks and side roads jam packed with parked cars either side
