In my organisation we moved away from the mediocre...

In my organisation we moved away from the mediocre services of spotless cleaning and gradually catering for a reason. That has been one of the best decisions we have made to date.
Going to Royal children Hospital this afternoon re-confirmed that it was indeed the right decision.

At the entrance of the hospital l, they had a badly trained security door person with poor communication skills who is selective about who he would enforce hospital policy on.

My assumption is that the hospital's policy is to allow only one parent at a time, which is good and well. However, this rule should apply to everyone regardless of gender race or creed.
The spotless door person was selective on who this rule would apply to and I like several other people have an idea how he was selecting the people.
Upon arrival with my wife and baby, I was told that only one parent is allowed, I thought fair enough and thanked him and went outside only to see that he was letting couples with a childgen and parents with children and extended families enter in groups. Not only one family, but multiple.
When I saw this, I went in to ask him why this was and he was he intially wanted to say that tgey were employees, and when i told him they weren't, he became quiet rude and when I asked his name to lodge a complaint, he said "just go". I said excuse me and only then he said you can complain to my supervisor if you want, but he didn't even call him for me to complain. I asked him where the supervisor was and a team leader was nearby and came. At this stage things have escalated as the first person was extremely rude.

What I wanted from the team leader was that he provided me with a complaint email address or phone number to which he refused to provide.
He only insisted to take my details, but not provide me with information.
When I asked as to why they were letting other families in, he responded that the nursed inside made the decision. To which I responded that it was absolute garbage
His answer was diffrent to what the other security person who said, that "they worked here".
This waa also untrue as we were turned back prior to entering tge premisies and other were allowed in from tgw begining and before seeing tge nurses inside. This waa the screening point and sime where turned away whilst some others were let in.
Everyone could clearly see there were several families were ket in despite the one parent policy.

I had a chat with a cuople of people in the same situation they were also upset abiut what had happened. One of then also approached the same security and he said he tried to convince him that i had sworn at him to which he responded it wasn't true. My only assumption is he waa lying knowing that i woukd lodge a complaint.

Royal Childrens Hospital is a reputabke organisatiin ans should procure tge sevices of a decent security company and not Spotless.

Glad I don't work there. A woman called Nicole Pianta who is a Workforce Planning Manager is a nightmare. She is a toxic mess. I changed industries and now earn over 100kpa. She believes in abuse and personal attacks. Her abilities as a manager are less than zero. I now work for a global with a great culture.
