Updated Jan 2020: Biggest hardware store around, but they're somehow out of plungers. Still no bike parking. Increasingly finding the prices here higher than corner ironmongers and other smaller shops. Doubt I'll be back.

Original review: BigMat sells everything you would need to fashion a decent purpose-built bike rack, and yet there's no sane place in sight to secure a bike. Friendly staff on the inside, but prices seem higher across the board for what you can grab at the local ironmonger.

Went to buy somethings that we need and we ancountered a very rude security. She shamed me and my girlfriend in front of other people all because my girlfriend tempreture was a bit high after a long drive in the sun. Instead of asking her to stay abit out side she started shouting at her in front of the people.

Absolutely disgusting service. Purchased over 450 euro worth. Took them 4 weeks to deliver. The specials on the website had a multi tool. They charged me full price for it as they said that special was last year. When it arrived the box was open and all the pieces missing. I tried to ring 5 times and kept me waiting 15 minutes then hung up. I now wanted to purchase another 5 tubs of paint to finish job and rang 3 times 15 minutes and hang up. I'm voting with my feet. I'm giving my business to their competitor Home mate

Craft material, gardening, light building materials, lots of lovely power-tools and plenty of interior decorating materials as well as some seasonal decorations and a small section for kids toys- reasonably priced too. Great for makers.
