Only decent DIY store on the island. Helpful staff and a good range with reasonable prices too.

Was disappointed all the BBQ's where no where to be seen.

OK for Malta, but a very weak offer compared to DIY shops in continental Europe.

A handyman's paradise with parking facilities and plenty of products

From the way they described it to me, I expected worse! Instead I was surprised by the large assortment of items of all kinds! I could describe a long list, I will only say that we found what we were looking for! There were three of us, with very different needs from one another! All satisfied! The staff is ready and experienced, very courteous and patient! Today I go back to buy more items!

I've been to BigMat over a dozen times in the past few months. Massive selection of home goods, DIY/arts/crafts tools and supplies. Staff were always friendly and provided assistance when asked.

Today I visited BigMat for my last Christmas shopping and I was very impressed with the customer service given to me by all the staff. Great shop for settling your life in Malta. An excellent construction tool.

BigMat has some interesting offerings but it is still in its infancy. This shows from the lack of selection of certain hardware store basics such as stainless steel screws. Also they are yet to realise that they are in a market that has adopted the metric system, most of their bits are Imperial.

Great superstore well stocked - easy parking is a bonus!

Staff blocking isles so you cannot get to the goods and prices have gone up. Cheaper to use the local ironmongers

One can find a lot of useful material and assistance. I enjoy shopping at BigMat.

Largest retail shop for all kind of supplies in Malta. You can find anything you ask for. Free parking on site. During xmas period a special area with all sort of decorations and accessories will be available. A nice coffee shop is also provided to customers.

A very handy store with a very wide selection of tools and hardware, with the added bonus that it stays open on Sundays and public holidays as well. It's like Christmas all year round

Your DIY in one place. Most staff helpful. If you can't read any other language except English, you need to ask them to explain how to use the product but they take the time to.

Great choice especially for Bbq + outdoor furniture. Usual selection of DIY tools + parts. Good one stop shop even fo household/kitchen appliances. Staff friendly and willing to help. Not for bargains.

Worst hardware store I have ever been to. They have nothing. The tiniest and worst selection of products.. Whenever I came here, because it was near by,, they didn't have once what I wanted. And it was nothing special.

He buys a BBQ and fixes a delivery date and an hour before he calls you an attendant who owns them and tells you that the bbq will keep his boss and he can't do anything !!!!!

Arguably this is Malta s largest home and DIY supermarket but without the range of products to match. You expect to go there and find whatever it is that you want. The fact is that you normally don t. Special offers run out in the blink of an eye due to insufficient stock levels I guess. And when you ask when the item would be back in stock, the usual reply (common to many other places to be fair) is we don t know . However, the place has a number of friendly staff all around the shop ready to assist you with a friendly smile.

Great place for shopping. Lot's of stuff for the home, garden, tools, home improvement, gifts, pets and plenty of seasonal items and gifts. Convenient Sunday shopping too!

Excellent options to decorate your home, terrace, pool area, garden, etc. A little expensive but worth it.

Expected better prices and staff have no idea what they have in the shop. I asked for an item and they said they don't have, then I found it when walking around
