Our family gathering of 26 enjoyed Waitangi Weekend at Big Bach and we loved everything about it. The many bedrooms accommodated us all very comfortably and in style with wonderful cotton bed linen. The kitchen is fabulous, making it so easy to cater for a large group. The lounge and views are beautiful and the extensive decks, BBQ, spa pool and games room are great - there's something for every age group. Just thru the gate and down a few steps and you're on the sandy beach. All day and night we loved hearing the waves. There are games to play and delicious books to read. We gazed across the water to Kapiti Island and went over for a memorable day visit on Saturday. After three blissful days we reluctantly packed and travelled to our homes. We highly recommend Big Bach as a wonderful place to stay and the owners are easy to contact, friendly and helpful. Big Bach you get 6 stars from us. Thanks again!

Magical place on the beach with room for everyone, A++++ Stay& Host
The big batch has magical views out over the sea from the lounge, wrap around deck and some bedrooms. Worth staying here for the amazing sunset over Kapiti Island and the South Island, it was truly mesmerizing. The house is very spacious and beautifully furnished, with thoughtful touches throughout. The kitchen has every type of appliance and the smell of fresh bread was a family favorite, it is truly a 5-star place to stay.
The big batch was our home during the COVID-19 lock-down (till end of May2020), family memories of walks along the beach, relaxing spa and Is a tranquil quiet location. Easy walking distance to the local shops along the beach or on the road. Our daughters disappeared in the games room for hours, big batch was our place in paradise. Kelly is an accommodating host, and goes out of her way to make your stay unique and provides useful information. We definitely will be back, t n rawa atu koe.

What a beautiful beach front location and equally gorgeous accommodation. I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to stay on the coast - reunions, parties, conferences... you won't be disappointed!

Fantastic big spacious house with everything you need. Kelly is a friendly host, and was very accomadating with our large group of 30. The views to Kapiti Island were uninterrupted from the spa, or from the cozy fire in the lounge. Highly recommend booking big bach. You won't be disappointed

The Big Bach is the perfect place for gathering a large group of people and there were more than enough options to comfortably sleep 18 of us for a weekend. The house sits right on the beach and has the most beautiful views overlooking the sea and Kapiti Island. The large decks upstairs and downstairs were a favourite spot for us to all hang out and relax and the spa was a lovely addition. The house itself is beautiful and modern, the beds were all super comfy and the kitchen has everything you could ever need for cooking up a storm! The owners are also lovely and had great communication when I had any questions. I can t recommend this place highly enough and would book again in a heart beat.

This large and relaxing house was a sheer pleasure to stay in for 2 nights, and all 10 of us wished we could stay longer. It has been thoughtfully, tastefully and generously furnished with everything you could possibly hope for in a home away from home, and right on the beach. Wonderful views from house and deck. Direct access to beach. The kitchen and butler's pantry are extremely well designed and equipped for having several people cooking at once. The BBQ was spotless and worked well. There are plenty of areas to relax, on the deck, inside the house, and out in the sheltered garden. The spa is generously sized, easy to use, and was great fun for some of our group. We easily parked 4 cars in the parking area next to front door. Wifi for multiple users at once excellent. Kelly was a quickly responsive and helpful host. A big thank you to her for providing such a wonderful place for our gathering. Ticks in all boxes and highly recommended!

Such special memories were made at this awesome family friendly "Big Bach"! We were a large group of three families and there was plenty of space for all! Kids bunkroom was awesome and the games room was a hit, particularly during wet and windy days. The large lounge and kitchen area served us well and the fireplace was enjoyed on the cooler evenings! We watched beautiful sunsets from the deck while the kids kicked a ball around on the grass and explored the boat and little playhouse. Spa pool was clean and warm! Direct beach access was super convenient for walks to the nearby Raumati Gardens complete with an amazing playground and mini railway! Kelly was so welcoming and helpful and made our stay stress free. Perfect place to gather with friends and family and enjoy the beautiful Kapiti Coast! Thank you!
