Worst services ever. fraudsters, feels like they are after your money instead of your health. always different fillings then the one before had been advised.

Rarely do I write reviews but on this occasion I feel compelled to do so. I was nervous about visiting a dentist after putting if off for some time. From the moment I walked into this surgery I was warmly welcomed by the reception staff. Appointment made I was booked to see dentist Manoj. He was so calming and reassuring that I wondered why I had put it off for so long. Manoj booked me in for treatment and on arrival for work to be done I was again made to feel very relaxed and the work was carried out with great care. Rarely have I been in an establishment where the staff from reception to dental nurse to dentist have been so welcoming. They all seem very happy working here, that's obvious. I would highly recommend this dental practice to anyone who is nervous of dentists. They are first class. I am very happy that I chose this dental practice and would like to thank Manoj and all the wonderful staff for looking after me.

Had a wisdom tooth removed today, didn't feel anything and everyone who works here is very professional. Overall highly recommended.

I really cannot speak more highly of the excellent treatment I received from this practice. After suffering for Five days with severe Wisdom tooth pain (actually several months on and off) I was referred to Bhandal Dental Practice. They whipped it out straight away this morning in a matter of minuets. Professional and courteous they put me at ease. Following bad experiences in the past they have restored my confidence to visit certainly here for treatment. its Now Six hours and a couple of paracetamol later and I have virtually no pain and so grateful at how easy they made the whole experience. Thank you so much Dr. Amrik Bhandal and all the staff, Medical and reception.

I had a wisdom tooth removed today and it was my first dental work so I was nervous to say the least, I was lucky enough to get Mr Bhandal and it was a fantastic experience! Talked me through everything and had the tooth out in about 15 seconds, I couldn't believe it!! Lovely staff and I won't go anywhere else again, thank you so much!!!

I had my tooth extracted at the surgery & every person I came into contact with was friendly, polite & made sure I was comfortable with every aspect of my visit. I would highly recommend.

I needed a check up at short notice (prior to an operation at the University hospital) and my usual and local dentists were unhelpful and a little arrogant! However, staff in the Cardiac unit at the hospital suggested Bhandal in the Foleshill road. I called them and they were courteous and most helpful and fitted me in straightaway with Dr.Mudhar. My following appointment (4 days later) scheduled at 10.35am. I was called in at 10.34! The work needed was carried out very efficiently with great attention to detail and care. I would not hesitate recommending them and will continue to use them.

They helped me when no-one else would as in no-one else would take on at dentist till next week or after but they did thank you so much

I had a funny growing wisdom tooth removed. The actual extraction was completely painless, I didn t even feel the injections that numbed my mouth! And it only took 20mins!
After the anaesthetic had worn off it was slightly sore, but nothing unbearable. I was eating and drinking the next day, the most uncomfortable part was trying to sleep.

The team were great and the least pain I ve had a dentist!!

Whatever you do, just don't go here. I've been a patient for well over ten years and the rudeness of the receptionists has always been a problem. They are ignorant and make you feel like dirt. It's always been pretty bad but today hit an all time low.

I booked a same day emergency appointment to get my wisdom tooth extracted. I showed up and told reception I had arrived and was told to go upstairs. I waited for over an hour so went back downstairs to see what the hold up was. I was informed by another member of staff at reception that they didn't know I had turned up even though I had made my presence known upon arrival. They had an accusatory tone and not once did they apologise. I was told to go back upstairs.

Two hours after my arrival I was finally seen and nothing could be done. The dentist I saw was very nice even though she couldn't really help with my issue. I was handed a prescription and in all honesty I was emotional as I've been in agonising pain. I took the prescription back downstairs to get it stamped saying "could I get this stamped please?" only for one of the other receptionists to say "would it kill her to say thank you?" The one serving me responded with "I know." I apologise for not being Mary Sunshine but I'm in an incredible amount of pain and your service is appalling. She didn't once utter the words "can I help you?" She was too busy staring at her computer screen to even acknowledge me. Not once did they apologise to me for making me wait two hours due to their incompetence for what turned out to be a 2 minute appointment. The member of staff serving me proceeded to explain how it wasn't her who originally served me and her tone was disgusting so I just walked away. If they had simply said "Apologies for the mix up" it would have made my day a whole lot better but making me feel like it was my fault when it clearly wasn't was ludicrous.

How can you think this kind of service is acceptable? I've always just put up with it but today was left so appalled and have already booked an appointment at another practice. Seriously receptionists... get off your high horse.

Wish I would of gone ere first,I wouldn't of been scared of dentists if I had and wouldn't of of lost most of my teeth, ,They are so friendly and professional fantastic dentist, I recommend this Dentist 100%

Absolutely wonderful, as much as wisdom tooth extraction can be. Not sure if it took 10 minutes, including the numbing injection. Done quickly, basically painless, everything was explained to me. Staff was kind and helpful, both over the phone and in person. Thank you for your service during these troubled times! Well deserved 5 stars, can't recommend enough.

I had a referral for a difficult broken tooth at the back of my mouth. Pom explained everything clearly about the procedure, which was over quickly. Excellent service and care, many thanks I'm glad to be rid of that aching tooth.

Had a filling done which fell out the following day, also had two fillings done which still cause me pain and was still charged for treatment. Not long after had to wait two months to get wisdom tooth removed and receptionist was very rude. Would not recommend to anyone.

Straight in to have wisdom tooth out on the same day as being referred no messing around, brilliant dentist.

The team were great. Kind understanding and professional. It s nice to see thats it s a training environment too for trainee dentists. Very satisfied customer.

Going to see a dentist for me is scary enough. i was referred to Bhandal practice for a wisdom tooth removal. i was nervous about it and adament at my dentist i wanted to be knocked out for it. the receptionist put me so much at ease and i decided to have the extraction under local anesthetic. i arrived 10 mins before my appointment. and was waiting 2 mins. i was seen by Pom and Naz. complete professionals. Pom explained everything to me and took a quick xray then onto the extraction. extraction was way quicker than i thought it would be. i think from going in to coming out was 20 mins. WOW. thankyou Pom, Naz and everyone at Bhandals practice for making my visit and aftercare great. now going to be using this practice for all my dental needs.

Saw Dr Pom for my 5 yr old who woke up crying with a flap of gum growing over her 1st Molar. She was really upset. The receptionist Sabrina was amazing. She spoke to the Dentist and got us in at 10am on the same day. We saw Dr Pom, he was lovely, he built rapport,told a short story about Peppa Pig and put my daughter at ease who was clearly anxious given the PPE.
He sent us away with antibiotics and clear instructions. I called mid week and was booked in to see him again today. My 5 yr old daughter had an anaesthetic and the gum flap cut away.
My daughter's bravery has amazed me. She didnt cry or flinch. Reassurance from the Dentist and Nurse Nicole was comforting. We were in and out within a few minutes.

I was late for my appointment so called to see if dr Ravi still accept me.lady who answer my called checked with him and he said ok. When I turned up he said no . Worst treatment I had by dr Ravi pawer. He lectually broken 2 of my teeth. Avoid this practice

I had to call 111 as I had a very painful and dangerous gum abscess. 111 said we will get someone to call you today. This practice was on the phone at 9 o'clock, an hour later.By 10:30 they had me sorted with a prescription for antibiotics: all on a Sunday, and a bank holiday weekend! Thanks so much!!!!

I want to say a huge thank you to DR Dhanjel for my treatment today. He looked after me so well giving me sedation and made me feel really safe and looked after. I am terrified of the dentist and couldnt have asked for anybody better to treat me.

I was at Bhandal for the second time today to fill a hole in my tooth and prior to going there, i was already praying i meet a good set of hands unlike the ones i met the last time which i had attributed to bad luck.

Unfortunately for me, i think it is a general practice to be rude for the staff. If that was all i had to tolerate for the day, I would have been fine. I came for a filling and eventually did that and was told i had to do a scaling and polishing as well. This is like my 10th time in life scaling and polishing, my previous 8th being in Africa and i bet you, if my last 2 was my first time at the dentist, i will definitely not be going back. Fast forward to 6hrs later, in front of my mirror, and cavities are still visible on my front teeth, i can imagine what exist with the rest. It basically took less then 8minutes to fill,scale and polish my teeth at this practice. I was basically rushed in and out like a prostitute will deal with a customer so she can make the best of her day. Wish you luck with them.

Had to have a root removed that my dentist couldn't get out. Saw Mr.A.S. Bhandal and he was excellent. Didn't even know he had taken the root out. Would definitely recommend going there.

Went to the dentist in emergency while I was there I needed my tooth to be taken out, that was fine, problem iv got is the dentist has actually slit all inside my mouth and my lip which has left me with a lot of pain and swollen by my lip where it's been cut, has put me off going to the dentist

I can really recommend this dentist I had some quite complicated procedures and in these there were some unexpected complications. This can happen and that's when you know the true worth of your dentist. Nothing was too much trouble to put them right They even made me appointments late into the evening in order to fix the problems. A big thank you to doctor Mathias and his dedicated team

I had been referred here from another Dentist. On the day there I was feeling very apprehensive and nervous. Perhaps because of this after being anesthetized I kept feeling dizzy and became increasingly nervous and the procedure was cancelled on the day. I do not normally comment on these sort of things but a totally different experience here at Bhandal Dental Practice today in Foleshill. The culmination of a very calm, professional atmosphere with constant reassurance and explanation of what was occurring from Dr Bhandal, made me feel very much at ease. The process was very quick and pain free. Highly recommended.

Visited the surgery Wednesday with painful jaw/ear and teeth unclear which tooth the pain was coming from ...
After having an X-ray was told it was my impacted wisdom tooth ...YIKES ! was told I would get a call to arrange for it to be taken out as it looked a complicated one and had to wait for the surgeon @ the surgery - driving home they called ! Asking when I wanted to come in ...Saturday she asked ? Saturday that soon ? I agreed Sunday so here I am on my setee being nursed by my hubby ! What a fantastic place ! Reassured from the start ,Mr Bhandal was so calming the nurses made me feel at ease. Not afraid to say I m petrified of Dentists , why I don t know ..
However these guys are fantastic at what they do!

Firstly the actual dentist who deals with me is top notch, very friendly and reassuring always giving great advice. His assistant is also always very friendly and helpful, so 5 stars for them.
Unfortunately the staff that operate around the reception area, in particular those who allow customers entry onto the facility are always extremely rude and patronising. They point at you and often raise their voices at you which I find very poor in terms of how an interaction with a customer should be handled.
I sincerely hope someone at the Coventry Bhandal branch takes note of reviews like this highlighting such poor Customer service by a few individuals who appear to be letting the team down.

I have been going to this dentists for a number of years and very happy with the results. I have a problem with grinding my teeth and needed the help of cosmetic dentist to correct some issues it had caused. Really happy with Dr Mathias.

On Saturday when a new veneer that was fitted smashed to pieces I wouldn't have been happy at all, especially as I pay for treatment. But I phoned this morning and told the surgery what happened and how upset I was losing my front tooth again as a teacher and the embarrassment it would cause once again. I was in to see the top guy at 3pm and they have in two hours made a crown on their really amazing computerised machine. I will leave with a crown, which is much tougher than a veneer for no extra cost to myself. That's customer service when the dentist says, tht they must find out why the problem happened and find resolution tht suits all. Thankyou to all at Bhandals. Great learning curve on new technology today and Bhandals are the first to have this type of machine in Coventry. This shows how up to date they are. smiling again when I thought it would be weeks again

I was referred to Bhandal Dentists for a tooth extraction, never something to look forward to. However the procedure was so quick and painless that I highly commend this surgery to everybody, especially if you are nervous about dentist visits. The extraction was done by Dr A.S Bhandal. I was made to feel very welcome and comfortable. Dr Bhandal explained everything to me and made sure I could feel no pain before he started to extract the tooth. I was in the chair for 10 minutes maximum and the whole thing was over. offending tooth removed successfully with no pain at all. Just a few days earlier that tooth had me up all night with raging toothache. Thank you Dr Bhandal for your care, professionalism and expertise also to all of the front of house staff who were efficient and professional. My first visit to this excellent facility.

Really bad experience to be honest.

First time i come to them i had to make multiple extractions and the doctor dint manage to doit but he realise that after 5 anaesthetic injections and 1 hour of tearing down my tooth, at the end he just refer to someone else.... u cannot imagine the suffering.

Second time i made a appointment with them was to make a bridge, i ask them to make first a visit then to pay for the treatment in 2 separate instalments witch doctor agree..... well the staff over there screw up everything, appointment hour then they mixed up the payments i had to make and dint matter if i try to explain to them what happen they don't even let me talk to the doctor they just take the decision themselves......... Joke reception staff need training and communication between them, really terrible.

Extremely bad experience from my side and i will stay away from them from now on.

Great service. Staff were spot on. The dentist (Sagar Gurung) and nurse were brilliant. Informative, efficient and really clear in explaining what my options were. Was in and out in under an hour and that included an enamel filling. Highly recommended.

My mum had to have her tooth removed and after having a previous bad experience with an extraction. The whole team put her really at ease had a great bed side manner. The extraction was seamless and she couldn t be happier.

Just had my first checkup with M. Casha. The appointment was on time, however I found out that the reception staff had misplaced my history notes form which I had already submitted last week and they unapologetically asked to fill the form again at the reception.

At the appointment I informed the dentist about the issues I had, to which he explained the reasons and told me that my teeth needed cleaning at the same time. I was under the impression that this was a first check up and I would be referred to an oral hygienist for cleaning. The dentist took less than 10 minutes to finish the cleaning and under 30 seconds for the polish. Ive had several oral hygiene appointments in the past this was the most hurried treatment ever. He was not very careful which lead to a painful experience and gum bleeds. I was made to feel like they are in a hurry and had to get me out of there asap.

When i got home, I can see what a terrible job he has done. There are still stains left on the teeth which could have been removed had he taken a bit more time and my gums are bleeding from the treatment. The terrible attempt at polishing is also evident.

My experience has been such that I will not use this place again.

I was referred to Bhandals from my own dentist for a tooth extraction. After a bad experience in my teenage years I became petrified of having any work done and even just a routine check up is nerve wracking enough for me. But I must say from start to finish A.S Bhandal and his assistant were amazing, they made me so relaxed and the whole procedure was very quick and painless. Would definitely recommend.

I was referred to Bhandal Dental Practice today for bad tooth extraction which was not do to well. I can only say how professional the Dentist was and I am going to see if he can take me on .what a difference.first class.

Terrible customer service I was 10 minutes late due to horrendous traffic I was told couldn t they see me as too late I explained last time I attended I was waiting for 20 minutes past my appointment time and last week they called to cancel my appointment so seems totally flexibility for the dentist but none at all for paying patients.
I will now go to a new Dentist who has professional customer facing staff.

Visited here on the 5/1/20 for a very complex extraction on my 11 year old daughter and the dentist Pom was absolutely brilliant with her. Totally professional at all times and kept her at ease at all times.

Very friendly place . From receptionist until dentist very good experience and I was feeling calm when I was very stressful before treatment. Dr. Pam Bhandal was very friendly and handsome,and his team amazing friendly as well.

Visited the Brandal Dental Practice in Foleshill this morning for what I expected to be a tricky and potentially very painful rear molar extraction. I was dealt with promptly and the attention and care provided couldn t have been better. Both the nurse in attendance and Nikesh, the dentist, couldn t have been more professional. Not only was the tooth removal speedy and practically without pain, information regarding the process and aftercare was faultless. I would recommend 100%.

Fast and Professional , i was seen by Mr Bhandal for root extraction i was in and out within 20 minutes (inc filling out forms) and really put me at ease throughout. lovely guy .. great dentist!

Not happy at all.The only person helpful,kind and empathic was the lady in reception-thank you Darling,I appreciate your kind words and help.The dentist was very unpleasant,didn't help me at all,I was in agony with pain and he said he can't help me because....there was not enough time!Told me to take painkillers and come back if the pain persist-NEVER!

Appointment was at 12:25, I arrived at 12:23. Waited for 30 mins and then they somehow booked the appointment for Mr "My Name" instead of Mrs in my name. This resulted in another wait for 20 mins and still I wasn't called by the dentist. I just left at this point as my lunch time at work was already overrun.

I was referred to Bhandal Dental Practice from my own dentist for an emergency extraction. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Even with the Covid restrictions in place the care I received was outstanding. The dental nurse was kind and reassuring (I was a very nervous patient). The Dentist, Amrik Bhandal, took time to listen to my concerns and helped me through the whole procedure. I was in and out in under 20mins. Thank you.

I would just like to thank Dr Mathias and his team for excellent service I received on having a implant on my front tooth ! He made me feel very welcome and calm when having this procedure from beginning to the end . I had my wisdom tooth removed on Sunday. The dentist made me feel at ease, talked me through the procedure and this was then checked by a senior dentist. Great after care provided too!

Rubbish customer service and staff who are up their own a***s. Rude and arrogant reception staff. The dentist himself was lovely but I will not be coming back.

Arrived early this morning and was told to go and wait upstairs. Ten mins later told to go downstairs. Went downstairs to only be told that the dentist won't see me as I am 15 mins late. The cheek! It hadn't even been 15 mins passed since my appointment time. And I was told to go upstairs and then downstairs by your own Shi**t staff and then made to feel like it was my fault.

Asked for the manager to then miraculously have a dentist available. Shoddy service and learn the basics and invest in reception staff who want to be there, not as if they are forced.

Very happy with the treatment received. Had an appointment for a tooth extraction at 8:40am and seen at 8:39am. I was very nervous about the treatment,the dentist and assistants made me feel at ease. The treatment was done and finished by 8:55am.If only all dentist was like this.

Had to have a broken wisdom tooth out. Nurse i spoke to was wonderful and managed to fit me in very quickly for an appointment. Had my appointment with A S Bhandal. His tone put me at ease straight away as I m a nervous patient but he was wonderful. Explained the procedure and removed the tooth with minimal fuss and the only pain i felt was from the initial injection. Fantastic service!

My first time at this dental practice after being referred to by my current dentist. Dr. Amrit Bhandal was exceptional in removing my crown pain free. He treated me with kindness and respect and explained each step of what was going to happen which was greatly appreciated.

The most rude and unhelpful reception staff, the women on the phones have no manners and do not really want to be speaking to you. Dr Bandal has just lost another customer. I am sure a lot more will follow. Sort the staff out, they are the most unwelcoming and obnoxious lot I have EVER come across

I have had a 2 wisdom teeth removed 1 of which was 16-5-18 and Dr Amrik Bhandal and his team are fantastic. They are very reassuring and are so efficient. I cannot recommend them enough.

I have to write this review on my experience at Bhandal dental practice today. l arrived on Sunday morning for my 8am appointment, where I was greeted by a lovely lady in reception, then almost straight away I was helped onto the dental chair because l was getting a bit nervous. I was referred to Bhandal surgery as my dentist was unable to remove my broken front tooth. Well l needn t have worried because I was lucky to have Dr Bhandal himself remove my tooth. Through my 60 years, this was the best and most painless experience I ve ever had at a dentist. Thank you so much Dr Bhandal and your staff for making my experience at a dental surgery so pleasant.

I have visited twice in 2 days to have extractions. The attention and treatment I received was second to none with the surgeons and nurses constantly making sure I was as comfortable as possible and that the discomfort I had to indure was to a minimum. Thanks for the wonderful service.

Needed an emergency appointment for an extraction and was given the following day. Lovely woman on the reception desk greeted me in a friendly manner and directed me where I needed to go. I was seen by a lovely guy called Pav along with his dental assistants Tina and Amy. I am a nervous patient and all 3 made me feel calm and relaxed. Pav talked me through treatment options and gave me the pros and cons of all outcomes. Tina and Amy were wonderful. They were talking to me and gave encouraging words while I was having my treatment. Absolutely fantastic experience.

Very friendly, calm and professional service from start to finish. Mr A.S Bhandal explained each procedure, put me at ease (I was quite nervous after previous bad experiences, not here though!!) and made sure I was ok through out my time there.

Had a rather nasty molar removed. Reassuring dentist and calm atmosphere. Few stitches in gum afterwards and was warned that it would be uncomfortable. Whole experience made easier by their calm, friendly manner.

My husband was referred here for removal of a wisdom tooth, he is extremely nervous of dentists but was made to feel at ease excellent service.

Several weeks ago I was sent here for an NHS referral to have some teeth removing. I didn t have to wait long and Dr Bhandal was very professional and explained all of my options to me. I experienced no pain and was given clear aftercare instructions. My mouth healed quite quickly and I ve had no issues to speak of in the weeks after the surgery. Very pleased and would happily go again when required.
