Their products smells good as you apply it but after awhile you don't smell the scent any longer....and also I find their product to be a little oily opposed to quick absorption .otherwise I will buy in small quantities

I came across BGLH Marketplace on IG and have been using the products ever since for over a year now, my favorite is the whipped cocoa butter also the whipped coconut Shea butter I stay stocked up god forbid if I run out, I keep extras in my frig. I'm a customer till the end Love this stuff.

I've been a fan & customer of Bglh since 2014. First let's start with Leila and the bloggers... The information shared was very uplifting, educational and entertaining. It also helped me to embrace myself entirely (as a natural)
Secondly, the products are amazing! Soft, soothing and scented with just enough not to linger or be overpowering. I use the whipped butters in my hair and on my skin. The customer service is impeccable and shipped products are well packaged.
This is a self made black owned and operated business by a sister, mother and friend. Please see the human side and understand that some things will happen that will be out of her control such as hot weather, shipping delays, cracked containers, COVID-19 etc... but rest assured she produces great products and make things right.

I had REALLY high hopes for these products. I ordered Vanilla and Mango whipped butters and they literally have no scent. The Vanilla has an extremely faint scent but it's truly hard to pick up the smell. Mango has no scent at all. I purchased these specifically for the scents. I'm not sure what happened! I'm sadly disappointed and there are no exchanges for "if you don't like the scent". (Which is understandable) The texture of the Butters are great! It feels very good on my skin and doesn't leave a greasy residue. I may add some kind of essential oil to them to bring a scent out.

Update: after company response: I should have read the description before purchasing. The Mango butter has no scent!

Update: After using the product for over a Month I am indeed satisfied despite the lack of scents. I've also decided that it is not fair to list a poor review for an issue that the owner clearly listed as a disclaimer on the product listing. The Mango Butter literally says it is unscented and I simply did not see it. Anyway, the butters are amazing! They are not overly oily and feel great on my skin. Will buy again.

There is coconut oil in the shea butter. No good for a lot of naturals. This will be very drying on your hair. Takes way too long to ship and then arrive. I have had better.

Been rocking with them since the blog! I love their Sheabutters it keeps my hair and skin feeling so soft and moisturized. <3

I've tried several whipped butters from several different places. BGHL is by far the best. The scents are amazing, but the winner is the creamy whipped consistency. Evey time I place an order, the butter is fluffy goodness that is perfect for my hair and skin. I'll always order from BGLH.

This place really does have amazing products. Aside from some shipping issues, I have ordered quite a few products. I ADORE the body butters.

I have no words. I bought three sample whipped shea butter products and I have been blown away. I can say that little bit goes a long way and the orange creamsicle OMG!!! When I walk pass people they I smell soo good. Thank you so much and I will be purchasing more ASAP.

Incredible products!!! I first tried these body butters over a year ago and since then I use them all the time. Every product is high quality with simple ingredients that make for the smoothest of skin. High recommend!! 11/10

Can I just start by saying that I love my products received in my order. Nice scents and excellent textures.

I did run into one issue. One out of the three containers was only about half full. I thought it probably melted and shrunk down, but I ordered three of the same type of products and the other two were fine.

I also paid for insulated shipping to cut down on weather-altering of the products. I met the mail carrier at the door today when the product arrived. I ordered three jars. Two jars were filled to the top and one was not.

The consistency doesn t feel as if it has melted, but I m no expert. I did email the company over a week ago and received no response at all.

Product is excellent and I didn t mind the extended wait on processing and delivery due to COVID-19, but my experience lacked on the customer service side and I am left feeling cheated out of product, as three 6 oz jars is $72 and insulated shipping is $17.

I ordered products on 8/22/20 expected 2-3 weeks delay with COVID. I paid additional $17 for priority insulated packaging with ice packs I received an update on 9/11/20 that the order was shipped Priority Mail. On 9/19/20 I requested a status of the order. On 9/22/20 the products and ice packs was received melted. I was out of town and emailed to advise the products were melted and asked why the products took so long to be received a couple times and if there was anything else I could do to salvage the products when I returned home on 9/27/20. Neither question was answered and since I'm not home to send photos, basically nothing will be done. I'm extremely disappointed in the customer service & lack of empathy when clearly it took a month to receive products that they knew would be melted. I tried support the business spending $68.20 but they lost a customer who would have spent more money and referred more customers to shop. Oh well.

Love the butters! I ve been a fan of BGLH for a while now. Almost all of the scents are amazing the ones I didn t like, it s due to my personal tastes and not any fault of BGLH. The product quality is exceptional! Nothing moisturizes as well as these butters do. Sometimes, I even use them in my hair as a leave-in conditioner to combat dry ends. And whenever I had a question, or during the rare times I encountered a problem with my order, Leila is on top of things right away. The only downside is that I can only order in the winter months because where I live, it s too hot to receive the butters intact even with the insulated shipping. I just have to plan around that. But I ll keep ordering from BGLH as long as they re around!

Amazing products (the sandalwood & bergamot is my favorite) , shipping was fast, and they got back to me quickly when I had a question. Thanks for all you do!

I started out buying their Black Soap which I put above any others I have tried. Eventually I started used their butters and am now a daily user. There are so many different butter types, blends, and scents I really cannot recommend just one, but their whipped cocoa butter has really done wonders for my skin as far as healing and retaining moisture in the winter. I live in the South so certain months I pay for the insulated shipping and it's very much worth it, and not very expensive for how well the products are packaged.10 stars.

I love the Shea butter but they change the store operating times too much. First it was every day, then 4 days a week for a couple of hours, now five. And a few times I got there to see that it was closed early! Not a great way to do business. But the products are great for skin and hair.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. I can't wait to go back there.

I read a lot of reviews but I m not good at posting them. I am a body butter nut. I try all kinds. I was very pleased with this product. I received a sampler pack. The rose scented was delicious. The texture and scents are lovely.

Its great place with great all natural products. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. They make all the products in store, so the shop is always smells amazing.

My husband and I have really been enjoying the whipped butters BGLH offers. My husband likes the sandalwood and bergamot and I like the cocoa butter. The butters smell wonderful and absorb easily into your skin. They help my husband s eczema and leave his skin smooth and moisturized.

I ordered a sample pack on line because my sons have eczema and we have tried everything. We have went through tons of creams and I have heard about the butters but I wanted to support black owned businesses in the US. I am so glad that i tried BGLH because I am never going back! My sons are scratching less and the are having less ruff patches. Thank you for keeping your products all natural and staying online during this difficult time.

The best body butters EVER. The scents are heavenly & smells delicious. I've been a customer since 2016. No other shea, cocoa, & mango butters compare to BGLH Marketplace.

I ordered a sample pack of the butters because the ingredients listed fall in line with my desire to move towards more natural products. Not only does my skin stay moisturized throughout the day, but the fragrance lasts as well! I keep the butters on hand for me, and I buy sample packs for X-mas gifts for my friends!

The mango and coconut is my favorite but I m sure that all the butters do a great job in moisturizing. This stuff is awesome, I love it!!

I am in love with BGLH products! My husband loves the Cocoa Butter for himself and my favorite is the Grapefruit Whipped Shea Butter! I bought multiples to keep on hand so I don't run out! Definitely getting more Cocoa Butter soon!

I discovered this site on Etsy in December 2018. Fell in love with all the butters. Love the sample sizes and have purchased quite a few. This last time I purchased the large grapefruit and I love it. Smooth, creamy and super delicious. I am a customer for life. Any issues Leila will address them immediately. Love, love , love these fresh-made body butters.

I have been using their Shea butters for about two years now, and they re simply amazing! I ve tried other products, but theirs lasts the longest and has the best smells. I regularly receive compliments and it makes my skin super soft! Highly recommend purchasing these and getting a variety of scents.

This is my first-time ordering from BGLH, I decided to place an order because my sister gave a good report about the products you sell. I placed my order in July and I received my products today. As I was trying to open the bag I realized that the bag is very greasy. As I open the bag I see one of my shea butter products has a crack in the container and all of the shea butter is at the bottom of the bag. In order for this not to happen again include bubble wrap with your mail-order and plus put on the label that it is Fragile. I don't mind supporting my black sisters and brothers but I don't know if I would patronize this company again. First impressions is everything. I have a picture of the bag that it came in from the post office and the cracked shea butter.
