I have to say the new Bewley's is beautiful, spacious and luxurious, but I still prefer the old one. The old one was more relaxed, and was for normal people. The new Bewleys is definitely more expensive to eat in, I have ordered an apple pie for 5 euro and a hot chocolate for 5.5, the apple pie was only the size of my three fingers together, and the cup of hot chocolate is smaller too. However the pie and the drink were beautifully presented.
In general, this place won't be my first choice to meet up my friends and to enjoy some nice coffee anymore, this place is only good for me when I have some extra money to spoil.

Haven't been here since it was refurbished and I have to say it was great. From the minute we walked in the door the staff where there to greet & seat us. The full Irish was delish and the tea was great as always. Definitely recommend this place. A+

Very good service, waiter was very helpful. Tea was cold, advised the waiter, he brought two tea pots of hot water. I did drink the coffee but it was also cold. Bad experience overall and will not be returning

Not as warm and friendly as it used to be. I was expecting more of this iconic place. Instead I found an insanely overcrowded cafe with overworked staff. It feels that they just want to get rid of you from the moment you're enjoying the last sip of your coffee which is delicios by the way. Also the cakes are wonderful, the chocolate ones taste amazing. I recommend the chocolate mousse with a heart of apricot jam. The decoration is interesting with those big strained-glass windows and a fire-place in the main sitting area. I wouldn't recommend it for a Saturday evening as the waiting time is too long. Maybe is best to go around 3 or 4pm. We've awaited to be seated only 5 min.

Iconic cafe recently reopened after refurbishment. The queues are not so long now and the breakfast being served is very nice. The eggs are poached beautifully and the light breakfast is plenty. Sandwiches at lunchtime are also very well presented and delicious.

The waiting staff were very polite, especially a gentleman called Felipe who looked after us very well and was very pleasant to deal with. The coffee was excellent and the atmosphere was very nice and comfortable. I can strongly recommend this place for a good spot to stop off at bang in the middle of town.

Coffee is not excellent, you can fine better in Dublin. Food is just ok, pastries and cakes are also just ok. Portions are way too small for the price. The staff seems confused and if you are unlucky it will take ages before a waiter/waitress notices you're waiting for them to take your order... the interior is marvellous though.

No queue now which is better. Cherry bun and cappucino are nice. Recommended

Queue for 15 min, filter cofffee taste sour. We asked for water fir 6 people, it came with 6 glasses and a pint of water for six, OMG. Cake is good, but pricy. Decor is good. So no I wont be back. Happy queueing

We sat upstairs and it was too hot. There were 7 of us and we all found the temperature too hot which made our visit unpleasant. My mum said she felt dizzy with the heat. Also, the coffee cup was tiny

If you're looking for a great breakfast served with excellent customer service, this is the place to come. Eat where the locals eat. We even went back a second time on our 4 day vacation. The menu has something for everyone to try or take home.

My wife and I enjoyed their breakfast a couple times and would definitely return. The Bewley s Lite breakfast was more than enough food. Hearty serving of porridge and their espresso drinks are spot on. You could probably save a couple euros elsewhere but not worth taking the chance.

So gorgeous cafe in Dublin.

So gorgeous cafe in Dublin.
When I studied in Dublin, I used to come here for Ice mocha :)
They have a really good quality coffee and food :)
And there is a piano for romantic mood.
When my friend visited me, I always bring them to here!
So worth it place, have to come here if you are in Dublin.

Absolutely lovely. Beautiful space, tasty food, generous servings, fast service. I would gladly return.

We shared a sausage roll and the beef stew and found it to be an incredibly filling meal. The soda bread that comes with the stew is divine.

Lovely vintage styled cafe. Had a coffee and dessert (Eton mess) which was very good, would suggest sharing as it's large dessert. Staff never rushed you as it is quite a big cafe with loads of seating

Lovely ambiance and attentive service, but dessert was only okay. Had the lemon drizzle cake which was quite underwhelming and they d run out of brownies by the time we arrived in the late afternoon. Chai latte with oat milk tasted great.
