Great venue! Saw Ringo Star and the all star band. Easy in and out and renting a lawn chair for the lawn seats is quick and easy. Nice clean place, well kept lawns. You can hear the music from anywhere in the venue.

I love the area. The center is beautiful. There are some terrific concerts. I have attended many concerts there. My problem with the center is their inability to enforce, or even attempt to enforce their "no smoking" venue (cigarettes or pot). They now even have smoke stations in an area where the wind blows the smoke into the seating. If you chose to sit on the lawn, you better be a smoker. Everyone is smoking all around, and no one stops them. I will not go to another concert if this doesn't change.

The locale and the facilities were fantastic. If you compare this to other outdoor venues, the fair like atmosphere, the vendor offerings, and the overall intimacy of Bethel Woods is considerably the best. I have been to many places but this was by far the best. I would suggest VIP parking and getting there early. It is a walk regardless but in such a beautiful area.

Great facilities with great events. Couldn't think of a single bad experience here over my years of visits. Concerts, festivals, harvest festival, and the list goes on. Home of the historic Woodstock Festival with a cool museum commemorating the event! Drink beer here.

The museum is a good look at the 60 in general the sites are breathtaking and nostalgic.look at the areas where a lot of the greats played, there's food and drinks to be bought but you can also bring food and eat it outside, a lot of parking, free

I loved this place when we first came. The grounds are beautiful and the venue is generally great. But the security measures are a bit over the top. No purses? Glad the parking lot attendant clued us in before getting to the gate. Only a clutch "about the size of you hand" allowed. You can use a12"x12" clear plastic "handbag" or a gallon zip lock. For Steve Martin and Martin Short? Really? So I am leaving 4 Star rating. Venue gets a 5, -2 for inconvenience, plus 1 for express lane if you have no bag to check at all (although that line moved as slower or slower than the bag line to start).

Good sound and stage lighting. Next time I see a show here I will pin my ticket to my shirt. I lost count of the times I had to show my ticket to the same ushers. One of the little old lady security/ushers grabbed my arm at one point and asked my girlfriend if I was bothering her, we were dancing! lol. We both laughed it off. I was told by security a bunch of times to stay off the grass when walking around. I guess some of the grassy areas are off limits and some are not? U must stay on the path like a good sheeple, lol. Kinda ridiculous. Still had a good time at the Dave Mathews band show. Really good musicians. Budget for extra time when leaving a show here, I think there's only one way in and one way out so it got pretty jammed up.

Wonderful outdoor venue...Pavilion and environs are picturesque and well supported by amenities...terrace stage amphitheater is the best constructed small amphitheater I have ever seen...lawn covered stacked rock terraces...truly aesthetically lovely..Mountain Jam did right by re-locating here...can't wait to come back

Very nice venue, well maintained and organized. We have done lawn tickets but always worry about the weather so play it on the safe side and get regular seating, it s worth it. Parking could improve maybe adding a little more personnel to make sure people don t get out of hand.

Bad experience with a hot headed security person, if it continues I will not be returning. I have been here many times over the past 8 years with family and friends. We always had a great time. Until last week at the Santana Concert. There were young security people patrolling the isle in the the lawn area. I was standing/dancing on the side of the isle with my husband directly in front of me and there were other people lined up in front of him and behind me as well. The security people kept coming up behind me during the concert and tapping on my shoulder rather hard, telling me to keep the path clear. I was not in the path; I was on the side of it and apparently where I was standing was OK because they did not tell me to move nor did they tell any of us standing on the side to move. Each time I just nodded and they continued down the hill. They came by taped on my shoulder three different times. I was standing in the same place (on the side) the whole time. So I was physically interrupted while I was enjoying the concert 3 times for apparently nothing! I felt harassed so I stepped out onto the path to see what was going on and an older security man came flying up the isle and got directly in my face and yelled "do you have a problem!". He screamed that twice in my face! I did not say a word because I did not want to provoke him, he was very hostile! They should not have people like that working there. First I was encroached upon with the shoulder tapping; then I was verbally attacked! Mind you this is a Santana concert, most of the attendees were in their 60's including me, ridiculous!

Beautiful venue for all kinds of activities! Attended a concert in the pouring rain and it was pretty muddy and the upper bathroom was flooded, hence the reason I only gave it 4 stars. Otherwise, this is a great spot to go for the views and the fun!

I've been here quite a few times but the Shinedown show on July 5th, 2019 topped the cake. I have been recently diagnosed with COPD and Congestive Heart Failure. I thought that my ability to go to a show would be gone since I am now on oxygen. The security staff made it as flawless as possible for me. From the moment we arrived they were waiting for us at the handicapped accessible entrance where the collected my extra tanks of O2 and gave my whole party the vip treatment. It was a great night with a great staff that made me feel like I was the only patron there. They went above and beyond for me and I am so grateful. Highly recommend this venue for a show. They were fabulous.

Every time I come here the parking is horrible and much of the lot staff I miserable and nasty. One person will say park here, then 5 minutes later smeone else will say move. Inside the concert you can no longer watch concerts from the gazebo on the hill because it is reserved every concert. Every year this venue gets less and less enjoyable while other venues get better and better.

Amazing spot and history but what's wrong with management and marketing. There are a million things you could do in a pandemic and keep this place running well. And the total failure of 50th anniversary of Woodstock. Amateurs.

The performers were great but I still hate the long, long, long, long walk in darkness to the parking area. Exiting this place is a dangerous nightmare. People all merge into bottlenecks of a disorganized stampede in darkness. Handicapped wheelchair-bound people are forced to blindly mix into the crowd of disoriented people trying to find their way out uphill on uneven pavement & grass.

Bethel Woods is a great place to see a concert but getting out due to challenging traffic flow is about the worst I've ever seen. If it is a popular concert expect to add 45 minutes to your travel time just to get to the main roads.

The volunteer security/usher staff are ridiculous. I assume they are volunteers because they don t seem like people that could get real jobs. I'm not saying this to be mean. I know they live in the middle of nowhere, and probably have no authority to do anything in their lives other than boss people around at Bethel, but they embarrass themselves and discredit the venue by moving people around when there is a half-filled Auditorium. I've been to concerts all my life and I've never seen anything like the heavy-handed and unnecessarily aggressive tactics of these clowns.
