Our extended stay here was great! All hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The overall housekeeping/cleanliness of the hotel and rooms itself was phenomenal. The complimentary coffee was the best coffee I ve ever had hands down! We will definitely stay here again when visiting Calgary! Highly recommended :)
I am extremely thankful to General Manager Kim Randall and the hotel staff for very comfortable and HOSPITABLE stay of my daughter who had to compulsorily stay in hotel for 3 days as per Canada policy upon arrival by air from USA. I was very apprehensive and had heard and read many stories through social media about the prisoner like treatment and poor quality food supplied by various hotels during the 3 day stay. However, the Generally Manager personally ensured and the hotel staff took special care of my daughter. Supplied very good and enough food catering for the special dietary needs of my daughter with a smile and welcoming attitude. A special thanks to the front line staff of the hotel and I highly recommend this hotel
I stayed at the hotel following a government issued three day hotel stay arriving from the US. My experience there was fabulous. Considering the circumstances the check in process flowed smoothly. The room was comfortable, the breakfast, lunch and supper no complaints whatsoever hot and fresh. Fresh coffee delivered upon request and every conversation I had with the front desk gentleman was very pleasant. I would definatly recommend this hotel for a stay, especially if your welcomed by a friendly staff member as I was, Kudos to you.
For the price I didn't expect what they had for their customers. Stayed there for my 3 days mandatory quarantine and it was great. It comes highly recommend by me
My stay here was excellent. The room was new and very clean. The service that I received was very professional and the team went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my time. The food was delicious as well. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Calgary area!
Brand new in 2021 when we stayed. Very friendly, welcoming, professional staff; excellent communicators.
Delicious menu items: burger and fries, quesedillas, fish'n chips, roastbeef/turkey/pastrami sandwiches, yogourt, self-serve coffee/tea bar in the lobby, fresh fruits (apple/orange), breakfast egg-cheese and bacon/saussage sandwiches butter chicken (our favourite!).

Ample parking. Water slide, gym amenities. Free airport shuttle, 5 minute drive.
The pool is not open. I should of been advised before being checked in. I had to ask about breakfast it's bagged to go. Not happy about that. My room has and scraped up tattered leather ottoman and closet door is kinda of on hinges. The beds are good. No hand soap at sink. Remote not wrapped in plastic. Shower head rusty. Not what I'd expected! Oh well. Attached photos rm 328. I would of stayed at Best Western Plus instead. Had a call from Kim the General Manager all she said is sorry, about your stay sorry the pool is closed they'll tell their staff to fix the room for others! Yes, but what about my stay, what were they going to do for me, oh only a sorry about that? They didn't offer a future free stay, a discount a gift certificate. Nope nothing! I also was charged for breakfast today on my credit card $5.25 which I didn't get and $50 pending for any things ordered, but they charge addition for breakfast which I never received. I had to call and let them know to take it off ! Bad experience all around.
It was an absolute pleasure to do my post-travel quarentine here. Good food, nice and comfortable room, staff were amazing and very nice! They took great care of me. I will definitely return here whenever I'm back in Calgary.
I am disappointed with their lack of compassion during this pandemic. When trying to find something to do with our kids nowadays to celebrate mother's day, restrictions have drastically limited our options. With everything closed we figured we could do a mini getaway with our kids (ages 6 & 8) and since pools are closed in hotels, let them enjoy an in room jacuzzi while we watch a family movie.
Upon calling this location to book such a room, only rooms with one bed are offered. I asked if we could bring in a small cot for our 8 year old while we share the bed with our 6 year old. The "gentleman" I spoke with flat out refused to entertain the discussion of our children in such room. He said "we've had major problems so we don't allow kids in jacuzzi rooms." I appealed that our credit card will be on file for any potential mess, however I would guarantee there wouldn't be such mess as my kids have respect for property. He shut me down and would not discuss this matter any further.
Fortunately another hotel was happy to take our booking where they also offered 2 beds in their jacuzzi suite.
So, thanks for your (lack of) humanity corporate giant. I'm happy for you that you can remain busy enough during covid to refuse flexibility to would be guests
I was 'forced' to stay there for my quarantine and it ended up being one of the best hotel stays I have ever had. The rooms are beautiful, clean, spacious, and comfortable. There are ample towels, soap, lotions, etc. The bed is so comfortable I wanted to take it home.
The best part were the staff who are all extremely friendly, accommodating (to my excess requests for extra coffee for example), and who have a great sense of humour.
I do not understand the negative comments about pools being closed etc. None of this is the owner's fault and they are trying to do their best during a pandemic that places heavy restrictions on them (and they excel at doing so!).
Thank you for making my three-day's 'jail time' so comfortable and enjoyable!
