I am disappointed with their lack of compassion during this pandemic. When trying to find something to do with our kids nowadays to celebrate mother's day, restrictions have drastically limited our options. With everything closed we figured we could do a mini getaway with our kids (ages 6 & 8) and since pools are closed in hotels, let them enjoy an in room jacuzzi while we watch a family movie.
Upon calling this location to book such a room, only rooms with one bed are offered. I asked if we could bring in a small cot for our 8 year old while we share the bed with our 6 year old. The "gentleman" I spoke with flat out refused to entertain the discussion of our children in such room. He said "we've had major problems so we don't allow kids in jacuzzi rooms." I appealed that our credit card will be on file for any potential mess, however I would guarantee there wouldn't be such mess as my kids have respect for property. He shut me down and would not discuss this matter any further.
Fortunately another hotel was happy to take our booking where they also offered 2 beds in their jacuzzi suite.
So, thanks for your (lack of) humanity corporate giant. I'm happy for you that you can remain busy enough during covid to refuse flexibility to would be guests
