Wonderful hotel - convenient to the cruise port and the transfer is great.
The hotel in a nice one to stay at in Baltimore and we have used it in the past and will use it again.
The staff are very good.
This hotel is a rare gem, very close to the downtown, within 10 minutes of pretty much everything in the Baltimore area. There's a station to even charge your electric car. You can get tickets to go to the aquarium etc. Breakfast is not bad, customer service is great, clean rooms.
I've never been a guest, but the lobby has always been welcoming and clean; I've only been here for the comedy shows.
Enjoyed the stay had a indoor swimming pool complementary breadfast entertainment..

Nice hotel, but the wait time via phone was extremely long or it would disconnect you.
Reserved for four but towel service was for two. Requested additional and another blanket. Visible hair on the "clean" linen. Housekeeping could have been better. Restaurant and bar staff, service and quality was very good

I had a wonderful stay. The Hotel was great. I enjoyed the pool and Jacuzzi!! The food was delicious and the staff were very helpful.
The problem (excessive noise and partying in the hall outside our door) that we experienced on 12/1/19 has been resolved. The vice president called us personally and explained their remedial actions. He gave us a full refund and asked that we use them again in the future. We do want to mention that the room we had was beautiful. We also had dinner at the hotel (buffet in the lounge/bar area) and found the meal very good. The front desk staff was professional, courteous and empathetic about the problems that we experienced during our stay. We will give the hotel a second chance.
Expected much better based for the price and website info. Breakfast was the worst I ever ate. Good if you want something outside the city center. Otherwise choose differently.
The hotel is in need of updates but the staff is very accommodating the tradewinds restaurant on the other hand is not the 5 star rating it has and the wait staff have something to be desired
Great for Cruise and Park option for the Baltimore Port.
Hotel was great. The perk of leaving our car parked at the hotel was awesome. Breakfast was tasty. The one area that did not give a full five stars is the shuttle service. The shuttles only ran at later hours than we wanted and only ran on an every hour increments to the port terminal. The first hour offered was 10 AM and full. The next options were 11 AM or 12 PM.
We did not use the shuttle service because of the lack of options and hired a private driver to accommodate our needs. This worked so great for us... we were dropped off at the front door of the port, and returning we were picked up right there as soon as we came out of the terminal at the port. They get my 5 star rating.
The second area that lost a star is the front desk clerk girl (to specify, it was the short girl with dark hair working the evening of 9/18/19) was so unfriendly and cold. I could not even make eye contact with her because she was so unpleasant. This girl should not be on the front desk with her wet mop personality.
We ve stayed here before and we re very pleased, this time not so much. First we were given a dirty room, our shuttle driver was very rude, and after a long visit with family at Johns Hopkins we were expecting a nice dinner. Dinner at their restaurant was good but we waited over an hour for it.. Wasn t very impressed this time and most likely will not stay again.
Convenient hotel to stay at when visiting Johns Hopkins Bayview. Shuttle service an added perk. Staff very welcoming. Very good food at restaurant if you decide to stay in for dinner. Best cream of crab soup!
Incredibly accommodating. The room was so clean that there wasn't even dust on the windowsill.

The front desk service leaves a lot to be desired very slow and minimal English spoken by the staff, the same can be said about the restaurant, if you are hungry the food is okay otherwise go elsewhere.
Great hotel for a very good and low price. Nice breakfast - with eggs and sausages, cereals, waffles, yoghuert, fruit . Comfortable beds, spacious room, well functionning TV. And a free shuttle to downtown Baltimore and other areas of interests.Would definitely go back. Only negative: the heating/air conditionning unit is too old and drafty.Had to cover top with a bedspread to keep cold air out.
Rooms needed update.Furniture torn and raggedy. Hall way ligthing broken. Parking was a problem due to comedy club and other events going on. Should have parking researved for hotel guess. Staff very helpful and breakfast was good variety
Came for a 1 day seminar, not over night. Lobby was nice, events well labeled. They were doing renovations. Disappointed there was no free WiFi in the lobby, it's for overnight guests only.
Clean, comfortable, and there is easy checkin and checkout. Food was above average. Staff were all friendly. Can't ask for more.
This hotel is outdated & very unclean. They did not invest money into there rooms. Everything in this hotel is old and outdated. The room I stayed in had 2 bugs & possibly more, in addition that heater in the room was loud and disturbed my sleep all night. I asked to be moved from that room immediately. I addressed the front desk, the man at the front desk were so unapologetic and acted like they never received a complaint before. I know I'm not the only one who experienced bugs in this hotel. Its not well maintained at all. He never apologized for my concerns. This is disgusting & I won't ever return here again. I only gave it one star because the room size was ok. The breakfast buffet was nice. Other than that, this place really needs some updating.
We had an awful experience with the hotel and the staff was not very friendly or helpful. The hotel is older and in need of updating, but it is clean. The breakfast was fantastic. If you are cruising out of Baltimore, the parking is well lit and close. The transfer company they partner with is fantastic!
Clean and friendly. very family friendly place. We had the whole family ready for the pool only to find out it didnt open for 2 hours. The manager opened it early just for us!! Saved us from major disappointment from the toddler and 2 hours of distractions.
I stayed at Best Western Plus while accompaning a friend having outpatient surgery. The hotel made me sick with the disinfective spray they use in the rooms. We checked other rooms, they were all the same. Front desk said they use it because of the large number of guests who stay there while getting treatment at John Hopkins. I could not sleep in the bed because it had been sprayed. If you are chemically sensitive or have allergies, don t stay here. I question if what they use is OSHA approved and applied as directed. Find a place to stay that will not make you sick. John Hopkins needs to remove this hotel off the accommodations list until they resolve this problem.
Room and location wasn t up to par for price. Housekeeping is lacking room was dusty and musty and the furniture- especially beds and pillows are in serious need of upgrade. Restaurant was just ok. Food not overly impressive especially for the price and wait time. Attention needs paid to facility and politeness of staff needs work. Only bad Best Western experience ever but very disappointed to say the least.

Ended up booking here for an unexpected overnight stay. Affordable rate. Lobby was welcoming and room was clean. No complaints. Free perks like WiFi parking and modest breakfast.
We've stayed here every year for five years. The rooms are more run down every year and staff is unconcerned and rude. Issues included TV, water that dripped loudly, coffee machine, dirty sheets, dirty rooms, no coffee service in lobby, keycards that work sporadically, luggage carts that squeak horribly or are difficult to steer. This last time the power was off for two hours mid-day. The hotel address leads to a locked gate and you have to wander around in the dark looking for a tiny little side street and unmarked drive to get there. The only good thing I can say is they do have a very nice free breakfast buffet. We won't go back.
A very nice place to stay. I truly enjoyed myself there.
Wonderful atmosphere, plesant and friendly employees. Would highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again.
