Very nice rooms, moreover the breakfast is excellent and hearty.
A bit more expensive, but bigger than other rooms. clean accommodation.
Conclusion from 4 nights:
UNBEATABLE PRICE FOR TOP QUALITY!
- Great breakfast with plenty of choice at the buffet
- Very well-kept rooms, as well as the bathroom with bathtub and rain shower
- Centrally located on the Place de Nation where there is something for everyone
- Very nice staff at the reception
- Top restaurant directly opposite, which is pretty cheap for the area. (Decent rum steak)
- 5min walk to the Bel-Air metro, where the metro goes directly to the eiffel tower in 35min
- Just great!
It is a well placed hotel, clean, quiet and with a good team warm and efficient. And a welcoming boss and very responsive. I recommend this hotel
Overall: terrible experience, absolutely recommend Airbnb or hostel over this - I can't compare this to a hotel it would just be off the chart. 2 star hotel at best and if your expectation is that it's a 4 star hotel you will be in for a heart attack
Cons:
1. Severely under staffed - always only one person at the reception, always miss replenishing something everyday and will refuse to deliver to your room and ask you to pick it up yourself from the front desk
2. Pipe leakage: everyday some parts of our bathroom has leaks and each time it's reflected we been told next day it will be fixed - they did clean it but it was never fixed
3. Ventilation: very stuffy air and only heater works not air con, no option to just have a fan on
4. A staff by the name of Kevin hung up the phone on me after I asked what his manager's name is. To be fair he first responded he doesn't know and after I asked again to confirm I heard him right he was very frustrated and hung up on me
5. The hotel elevator and washroom is very narrow and small
6. Diligence: the hotel staff did not lock the door of the luggage storage room and did not ever check who is taking the luggages out when people come and go - I did not lose anything but if I was a thief I would frequent here
7. Hair dryer looks like a vacuum and died in my hand within 30 seconds. I was told to pick one up from the counter and after explaining my hair is dripping water the gentleman working that night delivered a replacement
Pros: the room at a glance looks 3 to 4 star and is renovated, the king size bed (which is really two single combined) is comfortable; cleaning is done adequately; location is ok 6 to 10 min walk to metro and across a super market that closes at 9pm. There was a couple staff who were nice but being short staffed everyone seemed distressed.
+ Good reception with a late arrival, and overall very friendly staff
+ Very clean room, certainly redone fairly recently
+/- Breakfast at 13/14 all the same correct, in quantity, but in limited quality for a 4 * (passable ham, compact "block" of scrambled eggs, tap water)
+/- "1" small bottle of Cristalline on the 1st day (there were 2 of us), not repeated on the 2nd day
- Lack of towels at 2
- Toilets in the bathroom
- - Sound insulation between the rooms non-existent. We had a connecting door (double I believe) to the room next door. We mean EVERYTHING, without exception (I will skip the details). Unheard of despite sustained frequentation of hotels of all ranges. Hence the 2 stars of appreciation.
Frankly not bad for Paris. Not far from the metro. Friendly staff. Breakfast ok. No fridge / minibar on the other hand.
I dunno why they put 4 star hotel but actually the facilities and room quality are so much likely to be 2 or 3 star hotel max: no fridge, no iron, room is also a bit small but bathroom is medium size with newly refurbished. Location is just OK, easy to find resto and franprix supermarket is just beside the hotel, also not far from bus stops and metro (around 6-7 minutes walk), but the surroundings is not great, just average. I think the concierge staffs need to smile more to the customer, dunno why their faces look stress. Hotel room is clean.
Luxury hotel? I think there is a joke, the rooms are too small!

Friendly, pretty rooms, large bathroom with Kleenex. Hotel garage is for small cars, they warn you. Public parking may require some walking. In-room coffee and tea, but they forgot to refill cream and teaspoons. Good metro connection. No guarded baggage storage on checkout day, a cabinet not even locked under the staircase is not acceptable in a four star hotel. Cheap hostels do that better. Good breakfast.
A little detached from the center. Excellent value for money.
Very friendly and nice staff that helps where it can no matter what time. Supermarket right opposite, metro about 5-10 minutes walk away. Very nice central location. Because of Corona everything was of course different, no housekeeping and buffet not as varied as usual. The only downside was the cleanliness and quality in the room (e.g. badly worn toilet seat, broken mirror, dusty ventilation) but otherwise only recommendable
Very nice. Depending on the period, rooms not expensive at all. Good value for money. Very friendly welcome
Having tested other hotels of the brand, I expected to have the same quality of service, which is more in Paris.
Only nay.
Hote home "disturbed" in full match of foot audio
Pizza ordered for dinner having been bought at the local pizzaiolo, paid double, served in its box but on a tray (dirty tray with stains of old (s) meal (s) ...
And it's a shame, have breakfast by default unless you say it has not been taken ...
2 stars for the geographical location.
correct and clean hotel but nothing more, not worthy of a four star,
small room (missing items in the shower)
soundproofing of rooms for improvement
welcoming and helpful staff
Warm welcome, clean hotel, friendly breakfast. All the staff there are really nice. An address to recommend. Only downside, we had two non-smoking rooms, one of the 2 smelled like cigarettes ... The customer before, undelicate, certainly. Even when airing, the smell had difficulty leaving.
The price is correct, parking on site (not for all car formats, but still accessible: We have a large Picasso c4 and it was fine: We take the car lift to get down to the parking lot , our children liked it) . In addition, the hotel is in a great location and the decor is contemporary.
I insist on the friendliness of the staff, from the welcome to breakfast and the cleanliness of the rooms.
Hotel good, the welcome is great! Breakfast at the top! Very comfortable bed! A small flat for mildew in the bathroom.
Rooms that meet expectations, clean and well organized. Essential space and modern style. Recommended for relaxing after a day around Paris
It has nothing to envy to other hotels. The sheets did not change any day and the answer was that they were clean. They charge you for a coffee that you make yourself in the room. Supposedly they offer you that they have lunch and dinner service. We went to try to have dinner and there was only pizza
Correct hotel services despite a location far from public transport despite the somewhat misleading name "Nation". Indeed, the journey from the station with the luggage is tedious.
The room is clean, well appointed.
Having never traveled to Europe, we didn t know what to expect in hotels and chose to stay with Best Western as they are a good hotel to stay in in the states. This hotel we found not to be handicap friendly. The room was very small, the tub was extremely hard to get in and out of because of its height and the room to move around to get in and out. Hallways were quite small and stairs were small. The location was great, it was out of the main tourist area, quiet, and places to eat were within walking distance. Staff was friendly, but if you re a coffee drink as I am, let s just say that instant coffee doesn t cut it and when you ask for many more packets they look at you like you re different!!!!
This hotel was wonderful for location, close to the M1 and the best Boulangerie in town, and a couple of the staff members really went above and beyond for us.
I am incredibly angry about my laundry however. I handed in a dress to be dry cleaned 3 days before we were moving on to our next place and was told it would be ready in time. When it came time to leave they didn't have it back yet and asked to ship it to our home in Canada. Thank god I asked they ship it to our next location instead because they wound up charging ME for the shipping for their mistake! I was assured it would be ready, the information says next day service, and they were the ones who didn't hold up their end. I don't even want to imagine how expensive that would have been for me if I'd agreed to have it shipped home. I loved everything else for the most part, but this alone will make me think twice before staying with BW again.
Not really a four-star hotel. Staff is friendly and always very helpful, but cleaning in our room could have been better. Nice location, close to bel-air underground station.
Very clean hotel and the breakfast, more than complete. However, we expect more from a 4 *.
The shower was not working very well and was leaking all over the place. Tea kettle - the in-room coffee is not renewed during the stay. Small details but which are not up to a 4 * ...
A GOOD ENTENDOR: Bad experience (as for Maria Cuentas two months ago ...): twice it was missing 50 in the closed trunk of my room locked !!!
The chest of the room can be reset and thus open very easily by typing 6 digits!
The manager tells me that without proof, nothing can be done and that he will inquire and contact me later.
"Not seen not caught..."
Have a good stay in the following
PS: indeed, the showers of the roommates follow each other live.
Nicolas Vuadens
Very welcome choice for breakfast only negative point bedding one can firm.
Nice front desk, the majority also English speaks (no German). Breakfast delicious, can not compete with German 4 *. Location is ok, metro is not 5 minutes walk away. The car park access is via a car lift: Beware, the maximum dimensions are 4.20m long, 1.90m high and 2.00m wide for your car! Otherwise no parking spaces available in the area. The rooms correspond to 4 * standard, with minor flaws, which were eliminated on request.
Great hotel, clean, very helpful staff. Located very close to the metro stops.
The welcome is cordial.
The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is functional.
Breakfast is good.
OK for a 4 star (small stars) favor the courtyard side rooms the avenue is noisy day and night. Convenient except for parking
Small, but great. Staff is friendly and multi lingual
Very nice hotel, room a little narrow but hard to find bigger in Paris. The hotel is super clean and quiet.
Very nice service, good breakfast, very small rooms, a bit dirty in the rooms
Good location near Metro1. Calm. Breakfast is ok. Parking in the underground garage is not for the faint of heart and big cars.
