Terrible. unpleasant staff. Dad paid the room, I was thrown out of hostel because I did not pay with my card but dad paid it. the owner was intimidating and incredibly unpleasant. absolutely do not recommend this hostel.

Rooms were a touch crowded with bathroom down the corridor. Nice kitchen and more interesting than most hostels.

Excellent place, lots of services including rent of iceskates, bikes, free coffee and water. I expected less people for being winter and it was full, so great atmosphere. Also there is a 24/7 near the hostel.

This hostel was a great stay at a reasonable price. All members of the staff were super nice and extremely helpful. The place is clean and there is plenty of spaces to hang out and meet fellow travelers. The hostel is centrally located and within walking distance of most of the places a backpacker might want to visit (I walked everywhere). I also participated in the free walking tour which takes place on Thursdays at 10AM. The guide is a local who is involved in theater. He provided great information and tips about what to check out as well as what to avoid. If I m ever back in Stockholm I will definitely try to stay here again, and I recommend that you do as well.

A hip, cool hostel. Security is great as they change the codes daily and it s a keyless entry. It s attached to Nomads Swedish Food & Bar which has great Swedish meatballs and discounted if you re staying at the hostel!

My room was shared with 5 other beds and was clean and cozy. Came with a locker, had a couch and a mirror! Only complaint I would say is the noise/music coming from the restaurant in the evenings. Perhaps try asking for a quiet area of the building if this type of stuff keeps you up. Luckily I have headphones but was still buzzing thru the walls.

The shower area with the sauna was really nice. The other showers were smaller. Luckily I showered early to avoid any waits. They kept it clean and didn t feel grossed out!

All in all, a great way to explore Stockholm for the first time - super walkable to everything! I only took the train from the airport then walked everywhere - no need for buses or trains unless you plan to travel outside of the city.

This place is amazing! Super funky layout, really nice setup. And with the nomad radiant next door, it's even better.

Great hostel that is really in a great downtown location. The distance to the old town is 10 minutes on foot. The rooms are neat, the beds large and comfortable. If I come to Stockholm again I know where I will sleep.

Great and clean Hostel and people of the staff are very nice. I suggest you to try the meatball experience: for few SEK you will learn how to Cook meatballs, sing traditional drinking Song and eat A LOT.

Awesome hostel! The hostel is in 70s-80s decoration. The private apartment is very spaced with a nice kitchen! The location is also convenient and the free coffee and tea policy is caring! The only bad thing is that you need to walk up narrow stairs to the apartment. It may be a problem if you have large luggages.

Like it. Very nice interior, the rooms are creatively and lovely made. Though, no internet in the bedrooms.

Staff is friendly, great locations. However, they feel the need to vacuum outside my door at 9am...

Accommodation prices in Stockholm are quite high. If you need to evaluate in the city, it is quite a quality hostel by price. Although this hostel is in another European city, I would say it is very good for the average score but in the conditions of Stocholm.

The positive things in the hostel ...
Shoes are taken out.
There is a fridge for every room in the kitchen.
Central location of the city.
WiFi is free and quite fast.

The negative things in the hostel ...
Sheets, linens and towels are chargeable.
The bathroom just got downstairs.
It's cool if it's not cold at night. (I'm cold)
Especially late on Friday and Saturday nights, the hostel is making noise at night and there is no one left in the hostel for the night!

Great Hostel overall. Well organized, clean and nice staff. Rooms are big enough and there are lots of cozy rooms and computers.

Friendly staff but very loud at night, the hostel is not very assertive in terms of its quiet hours and the walls are pretty thin. Don t expect a good night of sleep.

I really liked it, they have free coffee and tea. The kitchen is large and they have a refrigerator for every two rooms.
The rooms have private bathroom. You have to pay for the sheets.

The rooms have AC, the building is very charming, the people are nice, there is a huge kitchen for the residents to use and every room has their own fridge.

Awesome hostel. Very clean and extremely helpful staff. I was only there for one night, but it was a perfect place to stay. Take a photo of the key codes so you have it on your phone just in case you lose the paper they give you. Hostel is a very easy walk from cityterminalen. The rooms are pretty small, but the beds are quite comfortable.

The best Hostel to live in when you visit Stockholm. Cozy bed, neat kitchen, bath and WC, free sauna, friendly staff. Can't ask for more :) Extremely satisfied and persuasively recommended :)

Incredible amount of extras and really helpful staff

It is a hostel that is not very expensive for Stockholm. You have a very equipped kitchen and there is a refrigerator for each room. The rooms are fine, at least the one I got. They give you free pasta, coffee and tea. You have computers and you can print whatever you need. It is very central and less than 5 minutes walk is the train and bus station.

Everything was perfect in the hostel. Such a great value to stayed in a Scandinavian city where they have pretty cool decorations. The staffs were all very helpful and friendly. Their bed was so far the most comfortable one I found in the hostel, I enjoyed it too much that I almost couldn't get up the next morning. Love their breakfast too. I will definitely wanna come back again next time I visit Stockholm.

My sister and I went backpacking across Europe over the summer and stayed in about 15 different hostels This one by far set the standards for what a good hostel was. The staff were very friendly, everything was very clean, and the sauna they had was a very nice addition. The kitchen was also really nice. They had pasta that anyone could make and plenty of fridge space to hold your own food. If your'e not into cooking they also had a really nice breakfast that you could purchase that came with a sandwich, coffee, orange juice, yogurt, and of course a cinnamon bun. If I ever go back to Stockholm--which I hope to--I will definitely try to stay here.

great location, friendly staff, clean, cosy, comfortable kitchen, nice details like old suitcases for decoration, free skates, free sauna, free pasta, free maps, a great place also for kids, table ice hockey is a fantastic way to relax, super cafe, Swedish movies with subtitles, offers like pub crawls and trips

Just wrapping up a 4 night stay here, using free internet and computers they provide. Quite a few computers, so no wait. The staff is very very helpful, welcoming, and professional. Helped print out documents for me, helped look up bus times and routes, helped with luggage...super friendly. The rooms are clean and the space is relatively quiet, despite it being fully booked. Lots of mature, respectful guests from around the world. Lastly, it's in a great location. Definitely stay here if you can--worth the money, and very competent staff.

One of the best hostels in Europe. I liked the common rooms.

Smoking killed it for me. They allow smoking in the courtyard which might as well be inside since my room's only windows were into the courtyard. I also didn't like many of the spaces being in the basement - dreary. On the good side, the location is in a nicer area and very close to the Central station...6 min walk to Arlanda Express. Nice park across the street. Nice to have a kitchen. My all women's room for 6 was actually divided in two and had it's own shower, washing machine and kitchen. But the shared toilets were across the outdoor courtyard. Not a problem in summer, but I can't imagine other seasons. It was clean.

City Backpackers Hostel was acceptable but the place definitely needs some TLC. Things in general, especially the bathrooms, appear warn down. The bathrooms were sometimes out of soap or toilet paper and were definitely not cleaned very well. The bunk beds are from the famous Swedish big box flat-pack furniture store, so you will have to expect creaking and shaking every time you or your bunk mate moves or shifts in bed. The room I stayed in was quite large, but the acoustics meant the snoring of a roommate would reverberate throughout -- so keep ear plugs handy. The kitchen facilities were handy, though you can expect many (especially on weekends) pasta makers using the kitchen during dinnertime. I'm glad to say, without equivocation, that the Wi-Fi worked great. The location, as has been stated, is ideal for walking to some nearby districts and sites, for catching buses and for getting to Central Station. Most importantly, the price was right in an expensive city. If you don't mind putting up with some irritations, then you might find City Backpackers Hostel an acceptable place to stay, too.

It was very clean and well organized. Had a bar and large outdoor seating area, like a beer garden.

I don t usually prefer staying in dorms but decided to give it a shot to get a new experience.

Found this place to be pretty awesome, to be honest. Made a bunch of new friends with the roommates and explored Stockholm!

If you re looking for a place which is located at the perfect location and has an amazing staff - this is where you should be going!

Most amazing hostel, by far the best I ve stayed at. Incredible staff, free pasta was great and met some amazing people. Would highly recommend the sauna tour and the pub crawl, I just didn t want to leave and will definitely be back!

Friendly welcome. A bit expensive, but everything is expensive in Stockholm. The toilets are shared and I was unfortunate enough to find myself in one of the adjoining rooms in the bathroom, ie I heard everyone going to the bathroom, especially during the night.

Nice decor. Pasta, coffee and sauna for free (which is really great!) Good location. Nice personel. You can rent games and there are also organized events such as a bike tour and Kaya tour that you can book. Everything was very clean - kitchen and sanitary facilities. Unfortunately on our second night we were woken up by a drunk woman who knocked on our door for over half an hour even though we asked her to leave ... (we have just taken a twin room ourselves.) That happens when you stay in hostels with many people on the go - annoying it was still very ....

The best hostel I've stayed in. Compared with other hostels in the area, it's the best price and the best quality. Super clean, very nice staff, nice bathrooms and bedrooms, great common areas. It's the best, stay here if you can!!

Very close from the stockholm central station. It is easy to find so you would never get lost!! I stayed at a dorm for 8 women which was big enough as well as it had a shower room and toilet inside the room. I would definitely stay here if I come to Stockholm again!!! Every staff is very kind as well. I highly recommend anyone staying here!!!

The best hoste that i stayed in my life, you really feel like it s your home, the staff are very friendly, and ppl in the hostel are so nice, everyday they have small concerts in the garden, and it s really nice to meet some people there and drink some beer. I think the receptionist was not clear about some towel, but later i find out that i needed to pay to have a one, but it s okay is something normal, but something that i would like to know when i do my check in :)

This place looks very nice BUT I need to be very honest with you and the costumer service was terrible. I booked for 2 people and after traveling all the way from Canada to this new country they received me with the BAD news that my reservation was wrong and they booked me only for one person, which made me also pay for a night I didn't even stay, and suggested me to find another place, or to send my husband to somewhere else. That was super rude and inconsiderate since we were literally on the street with our suitcases because of their mistakes, and also we had to pay them for their mistake, that was really rude and disappointing. I had to book at last minute another hostel which means I had to pay for another reservation. Also the front desk person didn't help us with anything, just made us pay for one bed knowing that we had booked 2 and It wasn't our fault that they didn't know that website has lots of issues. So, if you are booking this place, I would rather get another one since it can happen to you too.

Great and friendly service. They we're very clean and secure as well, We would definitely stay there again. It was especially great that we could leave our bags in a secure room after we checked out since our flight was at a later time.

Had a great time at CBH. The place is well decorated and always clean, have an amazing atmosphere and very nice staff. Loved the meatballs at the restaurant.

The city backpackers hostel is right in the heart of Stockholm, less than 10 minutes by foot from the central station. It comes at a very reasonable price and great staff. In the evenings, there is free pasta for everyone. Throughout the day (after 12pm), there's also free tea and coffee at the reception.

The bedrooms are decent, every bed has a locker for securing your belongings (bring your own padlock). The showers are good, though it is a bit of a walk through the building depending on where your room is. Wifi (also free) works without a problem. There is a luggage room in case you're arriving early or leaving late. All in all, I was really satisfied with this hostel.

The beds were really uncomfortable. Other than that, loved the vibe. Lots of facilities, really cute hostel with super friendly and helpful staff. Thanks for the stay! - Monica

clean hostel, great staff, showers are not my favorite because all the room floor gets wet while you are having a bath not only your shower.

This place was awesome, very clean, reasonably priced, the staff were friendly and it has a very relaxed atmosphere. They have a minimum number of nights usually, but if they have spare beds they can be flexible which was really helpful to me. The breakfast included is excellent, all things considered and I was full for more or less the whole day. There is a free sauna, which is also very cool. The communal areas are great, people are friendly and no one minded me hanging around for hours in the evening after I'd checked out (passing time until my very early coach to the airport). The luggage storage was also very handy. It's a wonderful hostel, I'd definitely stay here again.

Great hostel with friendly service, funky eclectic vibe and lots to do. Having a restaurant and patio attached really makes it easy to meet other backpackers.

Very clean hostel !!! very well decorated, the kitchen was practical, Bathroom and showers absolutely perfect, free access to the sauna of the hostel at certain times, nothing to say.
