I strongly recommend. Most of the facilities are in the basement. They are very spacious and well arranged. I was pre-upgraded so I stayed in a double room with a kitchen and a toilet. However, my friend who used the underground 8 rooms of the building said that there were some foreigners who were drunk and was a bit scared. We did not use it, but the pasta side is offered free of charge and the bar beside the hostel offers beer and Swedish meatballs at special prices And when I went, I did not have a person in the sauna, so I enjoyed myself very well. The staff is kind and they kindly explain to me by late e-mail if I send an e-mail saying that I check in late. After arriving at central station, I arrived at the hostel at 12:00 pm I was safe.

Extremely charming building, very nice and helpful staff, cool group activities like free ice skating in the city! Would definitely recommend this place.

Very nice, has free coffee, tea and pasta, very clean, central, wifi, bathrooms area away from the rooms, friendly staff, several recreation area, outdoor bar.

I had a very good time, everybody was super friendly and the food at the restaurant was VERY tasty! Would definitely stay here again :)

Good location, rich breakfast for reasonable price (75 crowns). Rooms and other amenities good too. Possibility to participate in many different activities. In short: I would definitely recommend it.

If you are not a young student anymore and you value certain amenities, I recommend this place not. The toilets are to be shared, you have to put the sheets on the bed and take them off when leaving. I heard people coming and going to the toilets ... All night long! For the price of a room you might be disappointed with the services. The common rooms are nice and decorated in a vintage style. You have the right to drink unlimited tea or coffee in the lobby (positive point). Good localization. The staff are super friendly and warm which gives me a few stars. Breakfast for 50 SEK

We came in late and left early the following morning, but nice staff, close to central station, good place to meet other backpackers.

We have loved staying at City Backpackers. They have comfortable beds, a great kitchen, awesome hangout spaces, and really fun activities. The space is really trendy and the staff is great. Plus there's always some free pasta in the kitchen.

For me, one of the best hostels I've been. Completely recommended.

Clean, easily accessible to everything downtown and transit.

Class hostel. The staff was very helpful. The room was very clean and had a private bathroom with shower and toilet. There is a large kitchen with refrigerators for each room. There are several lounges with TV and PC. The shoes are taken off at the entrance ;-)

Very lively and fun hostel. Lots of common areas for meeting new people and sharing new experiences. Free coffee, wifi, and sauna. Within 10 minutes walking distance from Stockholm Central.

Places like this are all about the vibe and people, which I couldn't experience at this time. Great communication regarding booking. Excellent location. Just 6min walk from Central Station.

I think it's a nice hostel. fine showers. you can delicious breakfast. there are many young people. it is required to your shoes to do in the hostel. I have heard of a boy that his shoes disappeared were. there you have so be careful with his. we rented bikes for but 6 euro per bike. also you may skating borrow. that is also very nice. there is a large kitchen where you itself may cooking. you can computers use. less fun is that the toilets often are busy because the sinks in the toilets and people there their makeup do. you have sometimes wait until you may.

I loved my stay here! The rooms were clean and spacious and the layout of the place was very cool. There are plenty of bathrooms and showers (private and shower rooms) that all seem to be kept up quite well. It is nice that they are a keyless hostel, you enter doors with a pin so you do not have to worry about losing or misplacing a key. You do have to pay extra for linens, and towels, and a lock if you did not bring one. I also wish that more of the bathrooms has electrical outlets. There is a hair dryer that you can use below reception. They have breakfast you can buy beforehand for pretty cheap, and then tea is free after 11!

Really nice hostel for Backpackers, the room we had was in good condition, and the atmosphere is really nice. To highlight, the option to purchase activities in town (bike or kayak tours), their location in the center, and that they offer tee or coffee to the guests.

Was staying here with my friend. Such lovely and cozy place. A lot of cool things inside. Good kitchen. But you need to take slippers with you

Clean rooms, friendly staff and great location! Close to metro station and good restaurants and stores nearby in case that a late night snack is needed.

Is very good . It is well located. It has individual showers. And free coffee after 11 AM. The kitchen is very good.

Good place to hang out with travellers and stay near the busy part of town :)

Hostel that really leaves a good experience.
My adventure started from the airport where, with a simple bus and a ten minute walk, we found ourselves in this hostel.
The rooms have nice names, I've been in a common dormitory: people who come and go continuously, having conversation with people from all over the world has never been easier.
Some points to the detriment are the fact that you have to get your bed, breakfast (which is not included, which is nothing at all), and many other small things that the convenient price allows for their absence.
Overall I found myself very well.
Then there is the common sauna, beautiful beautiful.

It's a comfy hostel two blocks away the central station of Stockholm. Nice, well located and good attention. It isn't cheap but I don't know if you are going to get something cheaper in Stockholm.

One of the two best youth hostels in Stokholm. Awesome decor, great atmosphere. It does not accept groups and the largest rooms are for 8 people, but there is even a room for 6 with the sauna inside! He lends hockey skates and helmets for free. the kitchen is freely accessible and it is super large. The must: a sauna with hours dedicated to women, men and mixed. Sometimes just a little noisy in the evening around 10 p.m. - 11 p.m.

Although this place was so old but it was really good where I stayed with private kitchen and shower.Close to bus stops and plenty of cozy restaurants make this place lovely to tourist and real backpackers.Staffs were friendly and helpful with extra pillows and bed sheets for comfort stay.

Good for its price. Gives a fresh impression. Breakfast is added but was good and good selection.
Lots of stairs and narrow doors, so not suitable for people with various mobility problems.

Rated as the best hostel in Sweden by hostel world. Good, comfortable rooms. Toilets are not attached but nearby while the showers are even further away. Doesn't pose a big problem. Big kitchen space and common areas with computers to access the net. They however lack things like a pool or foos ball tables which could've made the space much more fun I felt personally. The board game selection alone doesnt pose that opportunity.The free sauna is a great add on and also the discount for the attached bar. Plus don't forget to bring your own bed linen, else you get charged.

Central position in Stockholm for a poor hostel. Their only room with private bathroom is located in the basement, without windows and no air conditioning as they're specifying but only a noisy blower to refresh the air. I don't recommend it at all!

It was okay. The environment is very reserved so it was hard to meet people, and the shoe rule and being charged for sheets was annoying

This was a very great hostel! I loved the atmosphere and it was very clean and safe. The restaurant next door offered food and drink discounts so we were able to drink and eat for fairly cheap. I loved the charm of this hostel and everyone was nice and friendly. Also, they provided coffee and breakfast for free. I would definitely come back here!

Near the center of the city, good service and good facilities.

The most beautiful and cool hostel I ever saw. The personnel is great and welcoming, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the shared areas are full of art and people from all the world you can connect with. They also give free sauna once a day, free ice skates to skate in the gorgeous ice parks of Stockholm, free wifi and free coffee for most of the day. Such a pity there are not 6 stars to give. Perfect and cheap

This hostel was fantastic!! Friendly staff, friendly guests (some of them). They provide pasta and free coffee. Great area for socialising Close to the bus station, easy access to to transport and shops. The facilities were Very clean! I'm a really padantic person when it comes to cleanliness and never once felt uncomfortable. There was always hot water in the shower, they're well maintained and kept, you can sauna if you wish. Overall my friend and I had a fantastic stay and made some new friends. I would definitely recommend this hostel and stay there again!

Evrything fine expect the bar which turn extra LOUD music at nigt they start at 22 after footbal match, wonder how long this take.. It took just one hour so i give them one more star :)

Very very clean and organized. Lots of benefits like sauna, free pasta and coffee make it the best budget place in Stockholm, in my opinion.

Cozy hostel close to T-centralen metro station, refined vintage design, warm welcoming, clean. Perfect also for single Traveller!

The hostel is located quite near to the central station, about a 5-10 mins walk. It has nice and clean rooms, free WiFi, friendly staff, a computer to use. All in all a good place to stay.

Monday evening and music is blasting out loud after 23hrs. We have made multiple complaints, reception said that they will stop the party at 23hrs, that did not happened. Complaint went to manager and he don't give a sh..t!! (as he is at party!) What a horrible place! Never again. It's 4 of us in room that cannot get any sleep, the room is right below the bar!
And they have rules that between 23-7 have to be Silence!
Even earplugs don't help!

Lovely hostel, sets the high bar for hostels around the world to reach.

Very cozy hostel close to the central station of Stockholm (8 min to walk). The staff is very friendly, toilets and showers are clean and I love the breakfast (joghurt, granola and fruit salat + cinnamon bun or sandwich + as much coffee as you want). The entrance room where you also have breakfast is nicely decorated. You can also sit in the window ;)

Well located, cute, coffee, tea and free. A divine kitchen. A good bar wave. More than recommended.

Nice hostel but too expensive for what you get. They charge an extra 25 Kornes for bed sheets which is ridiculous regarding the price you already pay for staying there. What am I supposed to do, sleep without bed sheets? This is just about money making. Will not return to that hostel.

Very nice and clean hostel. Friendly people are working there. Location is very close to everything. Breakfast costs 7 euro. Very beautiful and unusual design. They have free sauna here, even during the summer time. A bit noisy to sleep, as they have restaurant behind the window.

Superb hostel, staff at the top, equipment and common rooms very well appointed. Quality decoration. Customers young enough (20 30 years) ideal to meet people.

It's a very soulful place for solo (and more) travelers. Has a lot of freebies. Also you can rent a bike and order breakfast.

The hostel was lovely! Clean rooms, friendly staff, lots of spaces to relax in. The kitchen was spacious and easy to use. The only downside is the bathrooms are few and far between and the showers take creative problem solving to be able to change and keep your clothes dry. Also be prepared to bring your own lock. The lockers don't lock and I couldn't get my normal-sized carry on in them so it sat out at all times.

Very cool building with everything you could want. There's a sauna, kitchen, luggage lockup, showers, many washrooms, lounges, TVs, breakfast (which is extra), longboard rental and also a really good restaurant/bar that's part of the building complex. It's in a great location and has reasonable prices. Definitely recommend. I'll be staying here if I ever come back to Stockholm.
