The staff is just lovely! Most of all the guy with the glasses and nose piercing at the reception, such an angel, so sweet and helpful! Best hostel I've stayed at in Scandinavia

Amazing hostel

They have everything, nice staff, low prices and really nice bedrooms!

Fantastic youth hostel, super well placed in town, on two levels and comfortable. It has all the facilities one could hope to find there and even extras: sauna, washing machine, communal kitchen with free pasta in the evening, buffet breakfast in the morning at 75SEK (really cheap considering the quantity and Swedish prices in general). Really, go for it! The price / quality ratio is top, you will not regret it. Thank you to the staff too, smiling and welcoming.

This place is rated so high for a reason. Great facilities, knowledgeable staff, good showers, good breakfast. Even the bikes are stylish. They also offer discounts in the meatball restaurant next door which is a steal.

Very welcoming staff. Rooms and clean bathroom. Very good bedding. Many other benefits, tea and coffee at will. Breakfast very rich. Very good atmosphere. Beautiful decor!

Close to the action, but the overall experience was rather overhyped. Noisy beds, and noisy rooms really hurt. The lounge areas, staff, and Internet access are all great, however.

Perfect location! I live in Stockholm but hosted six of my American friends for a week. We stayed a night in the City Backpackers hostel and rented a full apartment. 10/10 would recommend!!!! Wish I had known earlier and would have stayed there for other trips that I had friends in town.

A clean hostel close to the city center. They offer bike tours, luggage storage, breakfast etc.

The interior design is outstanding. The main entrance feels like design store or vintage cafe. It is very close from the city center and from main transportation systems. There is breakfast for a fee, however there is a 7 eleven very close where you can also take breakfast. Also, there are many starbucks-like coffee shops down the street. Rooms are nice, but nut great. Common areas are very cool, resembling a very nicely decorated house, with lots of antiques. There is a shelf for shoes when you enter the rooms. Showers are excellent, with big personal cabins. Bathrooms are also nice. The rooms are somewhat pricey, but somehow everything in Stockholm is, however it is very much worth the money. I would return to this same hostel.

Great Hostel. Nice Staff, No Shoe-Policy makes it welcoming clean inside, good kitchen (with free pasta and a leftover fridge, which sometimes seems to be a treasure-trove).
Usually quiet at night, but always some people you can hit the bars with.
Guided bicycle tour and Meatball cooking was great.
Nothing to do wrong with booking this hostel. (Just leave out the breakfast, it's cheese sandwich and cornflakes every morning...)

The interior design is top-notch, clean and simple. And i don't wonder why it was awarded as the best hostel in Sweden. Also offers many free services at certain times, such as free tea & coffee from 11 am and also free pasta downstairs.

Staying at City Backpacker's was so much fun! As a solo traveler, it tends to be difficult to meet new people. But, this hostel is designed for you to meet others. They have a huge common room that is surrounded by most of the rooms. They have free sauna nights, free walking tours, and so much more. They also have the option to use the shared restrooms or private restrooms. The kitchen is also very large and I noticed a lot of people picking up conversations in here. I will definitely stay at a City Backpacker's if the chance arrises!

What a great set up in a decent location. So much to love about this hostel, the restaurant next door with discounts. The kitchen was a good set up. They have a sauna, need I say more. The showers and facilities were always clean and tidy over my 2 nights there. There were multiple areas to chill. I absolutely loved this place and the staff were super helpful and friendly. This is the only place to stay in Stockholm as far as I'm concerned.

Not bad for a fair price. Some rooms have no windows, can be a bit claustrophobic.

The location is good, close to the metro. Inside is great, I particularly loved the decor. Staff I spoke with were very helpful and went out of their way to provide a very good service. The bunk beds were comfortable and clean. The toilets and showers were also clean. I liked that free tea and coffee and pasta was provided. I would stay here again and also recommend to others.

The hostel is furnished like a large living room. Don't forget to take off your shoes before entering!

Greag room, really big space with a lot of social activity. Free coffee is a major plus as well. Cheap for how much you get out of it.

Great hostel. Rooms are clean and secure but bring a lock for the locker in your room. I got in late and the front desk isn't open 24/7, but they email you the codes for the doors and leave you instructions in a mailbox so I had no problem getting in. Breakfast is not included but you can buy it there. Coffee is free after 11am and there is always free pasta in a kitchen. Staff are friendly and there are good spaces to chill. Really cool atmosphere.

Is right in the city center !!! All necessary shops, snack bars, bus stops and train station in all directions are within walking distance 5 to 10 minutes reachable!

This hostel was fantastic. It was so clean and everyone there was nice and respectful. It's located very close to the metro and walking distance to just about everything.

First of all, this is a nice, friendly place to stay. Kitchen is big, fridges for everyone, nice staff, a lot of free stuff, everything is clean. But there are some big downsides: the showers aren't very private, only curtains, which is not too bad, but a hassle. If you got a room in front of the toilets, you gonna have a bad time. Most people are unmindful and noisy, which isn't the hostels fault, but if you locate all three toilets rooms at one spot on a level, well, it is bad for the people next to it. The doors aren't isolated as well. Earplugs are obligatory. I know, it is a hostel and no hotel. But it doesn't mean that sleep doesn't matter. Which is, to me, the most important thing to a place for staying.

Location was great, generally very stylish. Unfortunately, there were a little too few toilet suburbs and the bed was too soft for me personally.

The facilities are clean and well-organized and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The building is also very convenient if you are arriving at the Central terminal Stockholm.

Very cozy here. The staff are very nice and helpful. There is free tea, coffee and water. Breakfast is plentiful. The beds are comfortable. However, one should not sleep in the women's bedroom. The lobby is directly above and you are kept awake by trampling.

You won't find the rooms to be outstanding, but everything else about City Backpackers Hostel was fantastic. We had great service, a delicious breakfast, and very reasonable bike rentals.

Absolutely brilliant, I had an awesome time! Very helpful and polite staff, place is clean and everything is well organised. Best part though must be the communal areas, met so many great people which literally made my trip. Loved every moment and would highly recommend it.

I loved the stylish, hip atmosphere and the location of the hostel is perfect. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and i was more than satisfied with the online communication of the hostel too, because i received very detailed information of how to get there and what to do prior arrival, and in case of late check-in. I was extremely satisfied by the smooth processes and safety because of the codes provided for all the doors.

Good atmosphere and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and a good price for the location which is a very short walk from the train station and very easy to walk to lots of food and shopping plus bars and clubsclubs for the night crowd.

Decent hostel- a little impersonal as you check in with a kiosk and it's hard to connect with staff to get recommendations or to meet people- however they had a full bar and restaurant and good common areas. Just have to work a bit harder in mega hostels to make friends I suppose!

I had a 2 night stay at the Hostel and it was great! The hostel itself is clean and cosy, with large communal areas and pretty hip decor. The staffs are always helpful and friendly. It is a very social hostel, so the best part was meeting and hanging out with other travellers! This was my first time staying in a hostel and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Absolutely outstanding very sympathetic hostel. Totally nice staff, you feel immediately comfortable in the extremely pleasant atmosphere and atmosphere. Totally centrally located in the center of Stockholm, and yet you are fast eg in Gamla Stan. Everything is very bright, cool and appealing "chill room" below, where you can sit comfortably on pillows. Extremely nice and sympathetic employees, as everything is laid out, you quickly get into conversation with others. Free Wi-Fi, many showers, great picture collages on the wall, bright and pleasant kitchen. Lockers available, as well as internet terminals. Shoes are pulled at the entrance, I think it's cool !!! The perfect as a perfect feel-good hostel !!!

We stayed in an apartment for 6 people very welcoming, overlooking a courtyard very cool. Brilliant breakfast, excellent quality / price. The hostel staff super friendly. Very good location to walk everywhere. Undoubtedly we repeat.

Very secure as the security code changes everyday. I like the take off your shoe policy. Very chilled. They do a bike tour which takes you around Stockholm. A little further away from the old town but close to the high street. Free coffee, tea & water after 11am (breakfast). Reception is 24hrs but check-in is not. Was able to check-in the next morning. Staff are super friendly and great to chat with. Cool place to lounge around and chill. Discounts at the Nomad restaurant next door. Love how the place is like a maze as you walk through underground. Free pasta is awesome. There is a fridge for each room but still doesn't stop people from stealing your food.. The room itself had a humming noise from the ventilation making it very hard to sleep. Plenty of WC and Showers. There are lockers inside and outside the rooms. I prefer the outside lockers as you can freely make plenty of noise when shuffling around in your bags.

Definitly the place to be for young starseeker. For young people from 23 to 30 years old. Definitely the place to be;

Superb hostel. The premises are clean, the welcome is warm and personalized. Many services are offered: internet access, sauna, kitchen, laundry, TV corner. Even pasta is free! It's very big and you can get lost quickly. There is still a flat. We are in the basement, there is little natural light to say not at all ... well I still like this place and recommend it!

Clean, location, decoration, animation, rooms, concept, staff and comfort at the top! I advise anyone to spend in this hostel! We were there as a couple, and we met a lot of people from every corner of the world!

Great hostel! Very close to the main attractions and shopping areas in Stockholm! Rooms and washrooms were very clean, comfy, and organized. Good security! Felt like sleeping at home!

Super big hostel almost overwhelming in size. But it s well operated, comfortable, and clean. Nice sauna and lots of sitting/lounging spaces. One thing that s annoying is that you have to make your own bed, which can be tricky if you ve arrived late at night and everyone s sleeping. Also you have to pay for linen and towels should just include it in the price!

The staff were very friendly and the food in Nomad restaurant excellent. I was given a voucher for 2 beers at SEK 29 each and the restaurant offers a discount on their delicious meatballs until 7pm. The interior of the hostel was very funky and clean. The bunk bed and linen was very comfy. The wifi was working without any issues and the breakfast was fantastic!

The staff is nice and nicely decorated with friendly and charming amenities. But are they locals? It was not sanctioning to be very loud in public kitchens and living rooms. It seems to be far away from the reception. Other than that, it was clean and the location was also good. Luggage storage service is also possible after leaving, but it is difficult to store heavy carriers because the stairs with courtyard must be stored in the underground lot.

Seems like a great place. And this is only from walking around and talking to the staff.
The place is already fully booked, which is a shame. The staff helped me to try and find another hostel though and they let me stay for as long as I wanted. They offered me wifi and gave a list of all the other hostels in town.

Site with a lot of charm, and excellent service. Free tea and coffee are a great incentive to warm up after a fantastic day of sightseeing in Stockholm.

Well organized, clean, spacious rooms and a great policy of taking off your shoes at the door. It is also very central and generally well kept. Good!

This hostel is the place to be in Stockholm. Its in a great location, the rooms are nice, everyone is friendly and the facilities are clean and usefull. There's free coffee and the next door bar/restaurant called Nomad is a place to go eat and drink. They ha e live music on Saturdays too.

Definately it's worth of staying. I just could imagine how is it in summer with its inner outdoor yard.
The staff is making perfect atmophere, uniting guests wwith different activities.
It's perfect for lonely travellers as well as for couples and friends.
I have questions for some guests who can't use kitchen equipment properly (maybe, they need a person who control processes in kitchen only, not letting those who can't do it in a right way)
And AC was little bit cold
