Helpful staff but a disorganized store. They will put items out on display that are not allowed to actually sell until a few days later. Tried to buy a wireless charger for a gift and they could not sell it to me because it was "future dated". Wasted so much time - will give an Amazon gift card instead since they will actually sell you what they display.
Best buy is great at what it does and I love it for that reason. Its color pallete is truly perfect. Dark blue and yellow are the only colors I like to see together. Its like Ikea without the swedish part. Its like an experience rapped in dog fur. That is why I give this store a great review of 3/7
The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to assist any customer. Their products are VERY overpriced. You may very well pay double what other stores charge if you go here.
Called the store yesterday and this morning to check on a Mesh Network Price and Availability. Waited on hold for 20 minutes in both instances with only recorded voice prompts and no answer. Simple lesson in customer service... If you want to differentiate yourself, you need to outperform, not underperform. Best Buy's inability to take a call from a customer who wants to buy speaks volumes about why this retailer will follow the Dodo Bird. The c-suite should take a trip to Abt Appliances to see what retail customer service looks like. Amazon will deliver this item to my house same day. They got the order.
Bad service..first they give me wrong oder for remote start..than I make opponent than I reach over there they said we don't have time now...than I want talk to manger he took time so long than he call manger can't come to me here for talk ...I wait half of hours to talk manger.....I think manger think hi is Obama....president of United States of America..please don't go any body this location
Best Buy has really upped their game the last several years. This store is very good, the only thing I don't like about Best Buy's in general is the fact that you always have swarms of people asking for help over and over... Good problem to have I guess.

Everyone I dealt with was wonderful but they have the worst systems in place for dealing with Geek Squad issues. The most frustrating one is that they do not have a back line to call into Geek Squad central customer service. They have to wait in line on the phone like we do. Took me over 6 hours over multiple visits to exchange a phone that was not working.

I havent been to a big box electronics retailer in a long time. I was able to find some great deals on some open box and clearance stuff you cant find online. I would definitely shop here again if I cant wait for shipping.
I had some old PC's to recycle and I'm really grateful that they will accept these so they won't sit in a landfill. While there I looked at micro sd cards and nas storage. I needed class 4 for compatibility issues, but 3 of the staff has no idea what class even meant. There was a "gopro" guy, but he knew everything they carried was class 10, but did not know the difference between uhs 1 and 3. The hard drive space was paltry. The guy stationed by the laptops didn't even know what they were. There where only a handful of WD my book/passport/cloud, 2 bare ssds, and a lone bare Seagate HDD. Do not come here for emergency computer hardware.
Complete waste of time. Came to buy Bookshelf Speakers. No displays, nothing to listen to. "We can order some for you", like I can't order them myself ... ? At least the floor was clean.
We were sad that the Best Buy in McHenry IL closed but was very happy to see some of the staff here. Their servise is always above all else. I will come back to this store just because of that

I ordered a refrigerator and dishwasher in May. Delivery was in July. ( today). They said between 3 and 6. At 5:15 the driver called very apologetic. They can t come till 7:30. I have frozen food and the whole refrigerator on my counters defrosting. I called to complain. They transferred me to 6 different people and the 7th I was on hold for over an hour. I am furious. I have $500 worth of food spoiling on my counters. I ordered this in May. Why did they make me the last delivery!!! I am very angry for my treatment and my spoiling food
Good selection of products. Most of staff is knowledgeable on products. Don't expect BEST prices but still better than most. Catch them on a good sale and you can make out well.
Update: Once again this Best Buy location has to be the best in the area, period!. Taylor and Michael are amazing people that truly appreciate and value customers. Glad I went back to get my appliances for my new home in a different state and they never had a single doubt the could get it done for me. These men are high valuable assets to this company, I really hope Best Buy execs see this and do something for them.
Customer service at this location is the best! I use to go to Vernon Hills but had a bad experience and done with that location. This one is much closer to home anyway and better customer service.

I needed a powersupply ASAP, so I went over to my local BB. The computer CSR was actually one of the best ever. That being said, there was some frustration caused on my part when a PSU had a mismarked price tag. All in all, a positive experience.
This Best Buy is pretty standard. Always good to compare prices when shopping for electronics and appliances. Lower taxes than in Cook County but you have to travel on the very congested Rand Road. Build Route 53!
Best Buy in Kildeer has everything a person could ask for from an electronics store. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. The sales items are practically a steal. They also have everything in stock, or they can get an item from a Best Buy at a different location.
I hope Best Buy stays in business because I don't know of any other electronics store that provides the services and merchandise that Best Buy provides.
The Arlington Heights Best buy is a great Store. Our Sales rep in the Electronics Department listened to us as to what type of prter we wanted. He mentioned the HP Envy Printer and since it was on sale, he said it was the best value of the money to get that printer. :-)

Beyond impressed with this store!!! Mike, Taylor and David saved the day with their kindness, attentiveness, knowledge and dedication. We had a poor experience at another location and decided to come try one more time at a different Best Buy - I m so glad we did, because we walked out of the store beyond thrilled and excited about our new purchase. They stayed late, ran the numbers for us multiple times and even cracked jokes along the way. I couldn t be happier. I ll be returning to this location from now on. Thank you, thank you!! So lucky to have a great Best Buy Store so closely located to my home. Recently purchased a Web Cam. Went to the BB website and confirmed the specific model I wanted was indeed in stock at the store. I arrived, was immediately and warmly greeted by an associate that directed me to the Web Cam, quickly answered a few questions, and within five (5) minutes of walking in the store, I had paid and was back in my car driving home.
Staff are courteous and knowledgeable. They will even check for a price match on other products we're buying that I never asked about. And it's obvious they're committed to helping my family find the best products for our needs. I enjoy coming to this store.
I came here for a microsd card and I found it pretty easily. At some point, someone offered to help; I didn't need it, but I appreciated it.
Just stopped in thinking I needed an expensive router modem combo and ended up spending a fraction because of the super helpful sales guy. He stopped me and made me explain the way my house was configured.. He then recommended a much cheaper alternative that would do a better job. He was right.. Great service

Best Buy is becoming just a popular tech store, moving away from having some less popular electronics. If it isn't an iPhone or iMac, they may not have your computer items.
They have good collection of electronics, customer service is very friendly.
Customer service was great, only complaint I have is this. I bought a 75 inch Samsung TV and when we went to load it the gentleman informed me I HAD to pull up to the door. Which is fine, here s the problem. There is no customer pick up lane marked at the front so literally the second I got back in my truck after loading it a Kildeer police officer pulled up next to me and started harassing me for blocking the crosswalk which I actually wasn t, I pulled up past the cross walk along the yellow curb where I was told to pull by the employees. I saw the officer sitting in the corner of the lot when we arrived to the store 20 min earlier, I just figured he was there taking a break parked in the shade. Nope! I suspect he knows the policy you have to make customers pull up to the door and was sitting there waiting to harass your customers. I just happened to be the lucky one at that moment I guess. He flew up and asked what are you doing here I told him that s a pretty stupid question since you just sat there in the corner watching us load the TV. I don t think he realized I saw him there the entire time as his attitude changed immediately when I pointed out I knew he d been sitting there since I had pulled up to the store 20 min ago. Change your policy or create a customer pick up lane by the front entrance please.

Being in this Best Buy makes me anxious. It's always over staffed and I don't like being asked if I need help by every employee more than once.

Spoke with 2 extremely knowledgeable gentlemen about PC's. They made great internet speed recommendations for both business and personal use.
SO IT WAS A steamy Sunday afternoon, and little old me needed a cable, so I drove down to Best Buy in my automobile. As soon as I walked in I became flustered with the store layout, and even with the big category signs dangling from the ceiling, it took nearly 20 minutes to find where my desired cable was. Isle after isle, I felt like I was in the Maze Runner.
However, when I found the area that would have my type of cable, the one I wanted was no where to be found. A feeling of dread poured over my body like acidic lead. So I decided to look for an employee to ask if they have my desired cable in stock. Now this is where things get saucy.
My eyes gazed around my near vicinity for a staff member in the cable section who could be of assistance for little old me. However, being that there were no employees available near me, I proceeded to the gosh-darn customer service desk, where I had to wait for 10-15 months to get to the front of the line. Once there, I asked the gentleman if they had any of my cable in stock, to which he replied that he had no clue about that stuff, and that I would have to ask an employee in the cable section.

Anyway, I went back the cable section to search for an employee (again), and eventually found one. I asked this gentleman the same question, and this what he did, ya hear? He done pointed me down yonder to the same section I had originally searched, sayin that my cable will most likely be there. But, y'all see, I had already done looked for my cable there!
Yeehaw!! Is this a rodeo!?
Seeing as the employees were getting me no where, I managed to navigate myself out of the store, with no cable in hand. And little old me was sad.

The geek squad always goes above and beyond ! Had a great experience at this store. I had issues with my Apple Watch and the gentleman at the counter was willing to help and kept me informed on the process as I waited! Would 100 % recommend them!

Best Buy is always good. Inexpensive. Stuff is typically in stock, or mailed out in 2 days. You can see it, touch it, learn about it... Good prices. And they assist with questions. Gotta be good to compete with Amazon!

It's a typical Best Buy so you know what you're getting here. The only problem is the amount of employees they have. On numerous occasions I've visited here and there are knots of them standing around talking to one another, making it somewhat awkward to approach and ask for help.
