Lovely pub set right by the quiet Berwick railway station. Large car park and a decent sized beer garden. Good food - dessert was a little tasteless mind, reasonable prices. Friendly staff.

OMG! The food is absolutely delicious, really, really delicious. Steak and ale pie with the most scrumptious gravy followed by light sticky toffee pudding and caramel yummy sauce. I am sooo full! Lovely staff too. Great English pub ambience. I am going back again. My new favourite place to eat.

Sunday lunch. Nine good meals for family group of all ages. Pleasant atmosphere, lovely patient staff. All good.

Very friendly, helpful staff. I had the fish and chips and couldn't fault it. Arguably the best pub chips I have tasted. My only complaint was that the food was served on a wooden platter instead of a plate. However, if I had requested a plate, I'm sure they would have obliged.

A hugely improved pub over the last few years. Very much enjoyed the meal and beer, that came along good service and at decent prices.

As a small cycling group were welcomed in and served by a nice lady. Took our order. Cant fault it. Very good customer service

I am reviewing a recent visit where my husband and I decided not to stay to eat, but I feel it unfair not to give less than three stars because of previously enjoyable visits where we were served by friendly and attentive staff and had very good food. We booked an outside table on a recent warm evening for us to take advantage of the eat out to help out scheme. Unfortunately the garden was very crowded with no tables vacant, people were standing and mixing around the outdoor bar and tables without social distancing, we certainly felt it would be unsafe for us to stay. The member of staff we spoke to acknowledged our concerns and apologised for how busy the garden was. We were disappointed.

The service though done cheerfully was very sporadic. All attentive when first seated, then popping back 30 min later to say one of the starters was no longer available and would we like to choose another. After returning with a menu More

We were hungry after getting lost on enroute and stumbled upon this inn. Couldn t fault it great selection of food . Fab Sunday lunch wonderful staff. Loved it.

First time trying the breakfast and was excellent as always, would recommend to anyone.

Really lovely staff, lots of parking (including for horses!), great coffee and hot chocolate and really yummy veggie food. Lovely big tables, great for a family meal.

Outside the pub looks great, it also has a good size car park.
The food was middle of the road.
Service a bit on the slow side.
As a coach driver bring a large group would I use again? Nope, not unless they buck there ideas up, and rethink their treatment of the drivers needs too.
After all we are bringing them the business in these difficult times.
